Mike responded extremely fast via email. He was able to ask a couple of questions and determine whether he could help us. His company does not handle construction or rehab loans. I appreciate his quick response and ability to say that he could not help us but would let us know if he came across a company that has the product/service we need. I would recommend contacting Mike first via email verses the phone.

Any mortgage entails a complicated process, however our experience was as smooth and trouble free as could be expected.

If A+++ was there, that's what I would have chosen. Where do I begin... first, since I live in the vicinity of the WCS office, I am one of the few lucky people to actually meet these professionals in person at their office. Top notch group! Professionalism all the way. I have had many mortgages (more than 6) and in all my years, this was by far the easiest and most painless mortgage (refi) I have ever acquired. Start to finish, about a month. Any questions or concerns I had were answered, not only to my satisfaction, but promptly. Mr. Murgatory's estimates were right on, right from the start. I hand out Mr. Murgatory's business cards to anyone I know looking for a mortgage or refi who is interested in a great company to work with. Can't say enough. Great rate, no games, a very pleasant surprise. Great rates, lender credits... I highly WCS.

He was recommended by a co-worker who I trust. We did a no-cost ReFi for 4%. The loan closed on time with no issues! We were even credited $600 towards my property tax bill at closing out of WCS's lender credit! That was well worth the 1/8 point higher cost of the loan. I made their job very easy by providing all the documentation and verification info in a timely manner, and they took care of me. Another co-worker of mine also ReFi'd through Mike/WCS and was very pleased.

The experience was the best we've ever had. It helped that we were very responsive in returning or sending paperwork back to WCS, so everything went more quickly.

I started my search for a refi with Mike because of high ratings on Angie's List. I was on the fence about whether it would be worthwhile to go with the rate quoted by Mike. Rather than jump on his offer, I decided to do more investigation. In the meantime, the rates edged up a little, pretty much pushing me over the fence on the side of waiting to do a refi.Mike was extremely busy during this period, so a couple of my emails went unanswered for a day or two. (very understandable since I had not committed to go ahead with the refi). I was impressed with Mike's willingness to provide a quick education and to point out the alternate strategies. He's deal was very close to the best I was offered. I would definitely go the Mike again when I perceive the market is offering a favorable rate.

I really liked them. They were absolutely superb. I changed my mind about getting a refinance of mortgage but I would absolutely recommend them to anybody. They were just outstanding. They took into account some of the things that I didn’t want to do as I didn’t want to go through a particular financial institution they recommended because on Angie’s List they had a bad review and they had got the reputation of taking the appraisal field. Then not issuing the pocketing of $400 appraisal fee and then not issuing a refinance so they had ripped people off and I got that of Angie’s List. They avoided that and really came up with alternatives. They were really good to work with. They were easy to reach on any questions I had. They were very knowledgeable. Their price was excellent.

Overall his information was helpful. In the end I went with a mortgage firm in North Carolina where I am buying the house, but Mike was great and the information he gave provided a clear picture of what I faced in securing a loan.

The people are very polite but never respond back and just left me hanging. If you can or can't help someone you should at least let them know.

I called about a refi or mortgage modification. Mike was very generous with his time explaining what he knew about the new Harp 2.0 laws, and what he thought my chances were. I provided him the needed info and submitted an application and he very promptly came back asking for more details. In the end, he didn't believe he could do anything, which was disappointing but I believe he was knowledgable and truthful. He was very good to deal with and from our limited contact I'd say I trust him.

I make contact with Mike after locating WCS Lending on Angie's list. Mike was very straight forward with his estimate of refinance costs and quickly gave me a quote. Both Mike and Peter were very responsive when a question would come up and the whole team worked very hard to move the process along as quickly as possible. Mike was very helpful with information about when to lock our interest rate. Mike stayed in touch with me and we locked at a good rate (4%) with minimal closing costs. Some unexpected requirements by the funding company (no fault of WCS Lending) caused the the closing to be delayed a few weeks. The team was very helpful during this time and even helped off-set some additional costs that came up, last minute, at closing. I found Mike and his team very honest, knowledgeable and helpful during the whole process and would highly recommend them!!

I found Mike on Angie's List. :-) He came with high recommendations and he and his team did not disappoint. I wanted to choose someone local as I didn't realize this is the sort of thing that could be done long distance. We did complete most of the transaction via email and scanner, which was convenient as I was licing about 45 minutes away. Mike explained that he does mortgages for folks all over the country. My situation was a bit unique as I graduated from nursing school less than a year ago. I wanted to buy a house but wasn't sure I could even get a mortgage without working for a longer period of time at my job. Mike was incredibly helpful in the early stages before I even started looking at houses. He looked over all my information and assured me he could get me a mortgage and let me know how much I could afford. Once I had narrowed down a house, he confirmed what he expected my payment would be to ensure I could afford it and provided me with a pre-qualification letter. My house was a short sale, which turned into a 5 month closing. After the acceptance of the offer by the sellers, I met with Mike and his team in the office. Mike was incredibly helpful and gave me a lot of information about the loan process and how he works through a varuety of channels to lock-in the best mortgage rates for his customers. He had me fill out all the paperwork in advance so I was ready once the bank accepted the offer. Once the bank approved the Short Sale, Mike and his team worked furiously to close in 3 weeks. I was still nervous that my loan somehow wouldn't come through but I should not have doubted Mike. Not only did I get a loan but I got a 4% interest rate as well with no points. My monthly payments came out around $200 less than his first estimate and my closing cost came out less as well. Mike was able to credit back the lender's fees so my $400 covered the appraisal. I was thrilled with the outcome and now have an amazing house for less than I could rent an apartment for. Throughout the entire process, Mike and his team were incredibly friendly, honest, professional, organized, and responsive. One thing that I find unforgiveable in a professional relationship is a lack of responsiveness but I was pleasantly surprused with how responsive Mike and his team was. If I emailed Mike with a question, I always got a response back very quickly, even in the evenings or on the weekend. I got his cell phone # and could call him or text him if I needed to. Mike and his team have mastered the concept of "Underpromise and Over-deliver." I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend him.

Every contact we had with WCS Lending over a six week period during the refi process of our home was wonderful. I located WCS on Angie's List and my husband called for a quote. The rate Mike quoted was very competitive however their closing costs beat everyone else we contacted so we were very pleased with loan package. Peter took over letting us know what they would need. Their responses were nearly immediate and their emails were clear, precise and fun. We knew we had chosen the right team when the last item on their 'things-to-do list' was 'Be Happy'! They checked in frequently, acknowledged receipt of required items and shared where we were in the process as we went along. I looked forward to seeing their emails when I would come home from work and check my home email! A few weeks after our initial contact, during the underwriting process, Mike called my husband to let us know that rates had lowered and he would suggest we move to a lower rate with another lender and save some additional money. Mike took the time to make sure I understood how to evaluate a break even point as we would have to pay for another appraisal. Our break even point made going for the lower rate a better deal and Mike and Peter took care of everything. I work for a Credit Union that prides itself on our low rates, yet using Mike and his team I came out ahead of even our own in-house rates. As a manager of 10 branches I can confidently say that Mike, Peter and Laurie excel at caring for their customers. They took the time to explain everything. Their emails were friendly and personal and I felt an instant connection even though we never met personally. On the day of closing, I was under the weather recovering from the flu and could not remember a detail that was on the closing paperwork. I emailed Peter and he immediately helped me resolve the issue. My husband and I are considering purchasing another property in the next few years and we will most certainly use Mike and his team.
