This is the second time I have used Helping Hands. The two guys they sent were professional, on time, and efficient. Dennis stayed in touch with me during the entire process, including texting to ask how his guys did. I highly recommend this organization.

It went perfect!!! They moved my daughter to her own place. There were 3 nice guys to do the move. They came on time and worked great as a team. They plastic wrapped all the furniture quickly & efficiently. They even helped her with decorating tips and where to place her furniture. I would definitely use them again.

We'll they were extremely patient and professional. I had goodwill, helping hands, and a junk company all working in my mother's home at the same time. I mean to say the least it was challenging for them. They handled every item with care and not a thing was damaged. I can't say enough about about friendly and accommodating they were. They were very good. Unfortunately the timing did not work out. But they were very organized and on top of everything. I would use them again. They are very professional. Everyone was very professional. They delivered extra boxes. They supplied all of your packing supplies, and delivered extra boxes. It took probably about 5 hours.

I hired Helping Hands to move furniture within our home. Specifically, we needed to swap furniture between two bedrooms on the second floor (queen bed, dresser with mirror, nightstand, sleep sofa, and elliptical exercise machine), and move a desk with hutch, bookcase, and 2 office chairs from a second floor room to the first floor garage. I didn't need a truck, just two people, and I expected the move to take an hour or less. Overall, it went well, though there were a couple of rough spots. I initially contacted a different mover that I've used before, but they weren't available when I needed them. I selected Helping Hands based on their reviews here, and used the Angie's List messaging feature to contact them. The owner Dennis responded quickly, and after some more messages and a couple of phone calls, we set the date and price, which was $250 (plus tax) for 2 people for 2 hours (the minimum time). Dennis told me the movers would arrive between 1:00-3:00 on the day we selected, but that morning Dennis called and asked if they could come earlier, which was okay, so they arrived at around 11:40. The two men were courteous and professional. After I showed them what needed to be done, we filled out the paperwork and they got started. It took exactly an hour to move everything, including disassembly and reassembly of the bed. The two most challenging parts of the move were moving the separate desk and hutch downstairs, because the stairs are narrow and have two turns, and moving the sleep sofa (with full bed), because it barely fit through the doorway. There were no problems moving the desk downstairs, but moving the sleep sofa didn't go as well; the movers stood it on end to get through the doorway, but the bed opened while in the doorway and everything got stuck for a while. I was a bit annoyed because the movers said afterwards that they've seen this happen before, but they made no attempt to secure the bed first or warn me that it might happen. That was the main reason I gave them a B rating rather than an A. During the move, the driver had to leave for about 10 minutes to move his truck, because it was blocking the trash truck. Parking on my street (in a gated community) was limited that day because they were re-sealing one of our two roads. My property manager informed me a couple of days later that when moving the truck, the driver drove onto the newly sealed section of roadway, apparently because someone had taken down the caution tape that was blocking that part of the road. I assume this was an honest mistake so I'm not factoring it into my rating. Within a couple of hours of completing the move, Dennis called to follow up and find out if everything went well. I told him about the problem with the sleep sofa, and he apologized and said that because I didn't rent a moving truck, the movers didn't have the supplies they needed to secure the bed; he said he would make sure the smaller trucks like the one used for my job had some rope onboard in the future so they could avoid problems like this. I'm assuming the more experienced movers used for larger moves would not have made the same mistake. Despite the mishaps, things went pretty well overall, and I was impressed by Dennis' responsiveness before the move and his follow up afterwards, so I would consider using Helping Hands again.

Great! Dennis (the owner) communicated with me the time the guys would show to start the move. We where moving from a storage unit in Davie to our new home in west palm. There was a lot of stuff! We didn't have to rent a truck or break our backs, all pluses++!! The three guys worked great together. Fast and professional. Moving is hard and stressful, but Handing Hands made it easy! Would hire them again and recommend them 100x over.

As good as any move can go. I had (3) movers who were very polite and punctual. We moved in the pouring rain and the men tried their best to get everything in the house, we did have a little mishap; which with any move was expected. However Dennis and his crew immediately rectified the issue. Upon calling for quotes Dennis wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive but what sold me was how he treated me. He was very honest, responsive and personable. In addition, I had to make a last minute change and he kindly obliged. They stand by their name "Helping Hands" and I would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic! The least stressful part of my move. Dennis was on hand overseeing and training a new employee. Everyone involved was professional, friendly, and careful with my breakables/furniture. They were on time and had me fully moved in a few hours. Well worth the money. I would hire them again in a second. A+++++ Thanks Dennis! You guys are the best!

WOW! I could not be more impressed with the service I received. Dennis and his team were truly amazing. On time, great to work with and fast. I would highly recommend using these folks for your move.

Dennis scheduled for 2 loaders for 2 hours. Clayton and Jason called before their early arrival. Not only were they early, they finished the job ahead of schedule as well. When do you ever have movers that arrive early and finish early? This allowed us to get on the road ahead of schedule as well. Clayton and Jason were quick and efficient and made sure everything was wrapped and tied down. I really appreciate all their hard work and how easy they were to schedule. I will definitely recommend them to others.

Dennis and his crew were punctual and did everything as described. They were very considerate and made sure that the expensive furniture was protected well. There was some miscommunication between Dennis and his crew on some of the last items loaded (the first truck left to go to the new place while the 2nd truck finished) that as i reflected later I would have waited until both were loaded to avoid it but only a few bookcases will need to have the paint touched up. The new house location required the trucks be emptied from the road and the team did it without complaint. Overall they get an A because of the hard work required and the job was done on time and without major incident!

The move itself went fine. No issues. However I felt the terms of the agreement from purchase of Angie's list either wasn't clear enough or misunderstood. I was asked to pay for 'extras' that in my opinion should be part of a move. Do ask about these extras such as TV moving, furniture and exercise equipment moving before purchasing a coupon or asking for services directly. The workers did a great job however and nothing was broken at the end of the move.

I've moved numerous times over the past 35 years and this recent move, using Helping Hands, was by far the best....and I have used some good movers previously. Dennis really worked hard to accommodate my schedule, on relatively short notice, and came up with a day and time that worked for both of us. Jason and Mike showed up promptly the day of the move and had the contents loaded within an hour (I had hired the team, and truck for 3 hours). Unloading went even smoother and the entire transfer was completed in less than 2 hours. Both men worked diligently, professionally and with little to no down-time. I would hire them again without hesitation and HIGHLY recommend Helping Hands Movers with no reservations.

Everything went great. We used Helping Hands Moving last year when we moved to the apartment and again this year. Highly recommend for a local move.

First of all, if you need a mover, don't waste your time going to anyone else. This company is the most honest moving company in this area in every aspect: Price, time it will take, etc. This is the third time we have used Helping Hands. As in the past, Dennis makes sure that he has the correct information for what will be needed for the move, confirms the day before as to time, etc. and the men showed up on time and worked very hard. They were respectful, helpful and we were very relieved once again at how smoothly everything went.

The movers arrived on time and Ryan, Rob, Steve were professional and extremely helpful. They were able to move me within an hour and half, without any problems. I have never had a moving company that was so efficient. Denis, the owner made it a point to reach out to me a day before the move, just to be sure he had all the correct information. I will definitely use Helping Hands for any future moves and recommend them to my friends and family. Denis also did a follow up call, on the day after to see if my move was successful. Helping Hands arrived on time and helped us move in a very efficient manner. They were very polite and hard working. Both guys were great and cared for what they did. Dennis called the day before to confirm the move date and called after inquiring how everything went. I would definitely recommend them in the future.

The pack , move to storage and move to house was smooth....unpack had some problems owner refuses to fix or address. Just argues Bb bb bb Baby oil packed w pillow ruined Picture w broken frame ( they claim frame was broken before move but not in four pieces ) found in a bin of holiday decor. Looked like a cover up for their mistake I found. Master bed now being fixed by handyman who has found screws not put in place for the support beams which is why they broke. Too much torque used cracked corner of bed and Scratched from head to toe on side of wood both sides. Handyman says it was a lazy bad job done and the chipped wood inside the frame w missing screws is evidence of that. Contacted owner. Lots of arguing back forth. He refuses to accept any fault and doesn't even apologize. He even went so far as to try and place blame of the broken bed on the other people working in my house. I had a housekeeper to organize. No one touched this bed and now finding screws weren't even put in proves it was fault of the moving company when putting it back together. The $60 I Tipped the guys one of the days could have paid for a new bamboo pillow that got ruined from the baby oil. Over the several days these guys worked I tipped over $250 and now I'm having to pay more than that to replace items and get items fixed. I have learned to pay close attention to everything before signing off on a job. Get under beds. Crawl on the floor to inspect items. Search ALL boxs before releasing movers. A standard walk through May look fine but these things keep popping up and I notified the owner dennis who just makes excuses Offers no resolution or apology. I was a laid back easy client. Bought lunch for them and tipped well. I am scared to see what else will pop up. But my brand new bed getting damaged in its first move infuriates me

My husband and a helper spent all day loading a PODS unit in our drive way only to realize they had a mish-mash/patchwork tower of boxes that threatened to topple at the least thump. Pessimistic and discouraged, they threw in the towel. There was still a room full of boxes to move and load and it looked like there was no hope of a successful outcome. I jumped on Angie's List and contacted three providers. Dennis at Helping Hands Moving messaged me right away. He is properly licensed and had excellent reviews. His price was comparable to the other providers, and he could send a 2-man team out the next day for 2 hours for the price quoted. The next day, at 8 AM Ryan and Steve appeared at my door, appropriately dressed in the business T-shirt (and driving a really cool truck). They introduced themselves and asked me what needed to be done. I was a bit embarrassed to show them what had been done previously; knowing that they would have to re-do it, I asked what additional hours would cost. Not only did we not need additional hours, but after every box was loaded, these men had spare time, and space in the POD ! They used that time to help us prepare several pieces of furniture for transport and loaded those pieces in the POD as well. The POD was beautifully full and packed precisely. (I would not want to play Jenga with these guys, they know how to put a wall together!) I could not have been more pleased. The men were cheerful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable (making several suggestions that demonstrated that they knew their business.) They were considerate of my home and belongings, and professional, did I mention professional? No additional charges, no dilly-dally, no nonsense, no complaints, no excuses--right to work and kept working until it was done. They saved the day. After the men left I received a call from Dennis inquiring as to the quality of his men's work and I found it hard to explain just how appreciative I was of a job so well done with zero complications, and at such short notice. They have a motto on their business card: "You've tried the rest, Now try the best." To that I would say: "Don't waste your time with the rest. Go straight-away to Helping Hands Moving.
