Helping Hands Moving LLC

Because there is a length limit I have to make this short, but know that there was a lot more than what I am can write here. The company was a nightmare from start to finish! This was the worst moving experience I've ever had and I’ve moved a lot during my time in the military. These guys showed up unprepared and ended up being veeeerrryyy unprofessional. When I asked the guys to (do what they came to do) they answered: Wear shoe coverings - No Assemble the furniture - No Take the dressers upstairs - No Remove/unwrap the furniture – No Handle my things with care - No Finish the job - No Common human curtesy and respect? NO! LIKE A FROG IN A POT OF BOILING WATER. If I had known everything from the start, I would not have let them start the job! First it was the shoe covers, I cave and allow it, Then it was no assembly even though it was in the contract. Then the dressers, didn’t bring straps for heavy items because they said they “sold the truck and the straps got left in that truck”... some weird story clearly a lie. Then the mattress gets dirty, I mean, it was one thing after another! And then finally, after they left and I started sorting things I saw that my upholstered rocking chair was dirtied also, with black handprints it the spots they were holding them! I’ve had to hire other movers to finish what I hired Helping Hands Moving LLC / Dennis for so it cost me DOUBLE! This doesn’t even include the cleaning I’ve had to do of the walls and the white upholstered reclining chair which needs to be professionally cleaned now bc it has dirty hand prints on it’s sides. DENNIS SUGGESTED I “USE A MAGIC ERASER” TO CLEAN THE UPHOLSTERED CHAIR. YES THAT IS WHAT THE MEN SUGGESTED, A MAGIC ERASER ON FABRIC! UNREAL!!! IN THE END: Job was left unfinished, Furniture was dirtied, I was insulted and yelled at, I ended up out $400 and still had to hire other movers $300 additional to finish the job bc he would not send men here to finish the job.

WOW…Helping Hands really is the BEST!! Dennis made organizing and scheduling our move a breeze, was fantastic with communication, and just the nicest guy! Marcus and the team (David, Keith, and Kurt!) were so efficient while being delicate with our belongings. They were fast, friendly, and incredibly professional. Helping Hands is HANDS DOWN the best moving company in South Florida, and looking forward to using them again for our next move!

Excellent... 4 very nice gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently. Robert, who managed the paperwork and crew was very professional and the entire crew were pleasant to be around. Great, professional, flexible to accommodate change in POD delivery, on time. Very hard workers and very fast unloading and setting up furniture and taking away packing stuff and cleaning up. Would recommend them to friends and family. Good job guys! Liz Cramer *

. In spite of the weather not being the best, the 3 people worked efficiently, and professionally. They took great care with our furniture, and it was a scene to behold. Needless to say, we are more than satisfied and grateful. We did a lot of the prework to save time and money, but they took over and made it happen, showing their experience and tenacity, in spite of the crummy weather.

Dennis and his crew did an amazing job. Very Efficient and timely. Would most definitely highly recommend.

Well. It was raining so they wrapped all the furniture well and none of it got wet. Quick move too.

I have used Helping Hands twice in the past 5 months. First to move my home and then to move my small business. Dennis, who scheduled mu moves was great to work with and the gentlemen who actually moved my stuff were extremely professional and worked very quickly and efficiently. Instead of pointing blame at HH for an unfortunate experience, I’ll take ownership of where I went wrong. First off, I’m a blue collar construction worker. I know how to move heavy things without damaging it. Unfortunately, my back can’t hang anymore so this was my first time hiring a mover. Secondly, being a mover is hard work. It’s very **** ** the body. Not many kids say they want to be a mover when they grow up. There’s two components here, the movers (or “contractors” as one mover established several times) and the owner. The owner was not on site. So... -Don’t assume they will handle your furniture as gently as you would. -Don’t assume they know the difference between IKEA and Crate & Barrel. -Don’t assume they know the difference between veneers and solid wood. -Don’t assume they care how hard you worked for your stuff. -Don’t have a knee jerk reaction to a mover damaging your furniture right in front of you. Even if you’re reacting to the situation and not the person doing the damage, this may be offensive. The conversation may abruptly turn to being “a black man in America”. Suggestions: -Take pictures, videos, and have the movers verify there is no damage to your stuff before they touch it. (That way when you unwrap your TV 2 days later and the screen is busted, you have some ground to stand on for reimbursement.) -Have a backup plan to move your stuff. That way you can ask anyone you feel is being unprofessional or not up to the task to leave your property w/o finding yourself in a jam. Opinion: If you have high end furniture or are ocd about scratches and minor/extensive damage to your belongings, I would not recommend HH. They were a little too low brow for me. Dennis and Devaun tried to maintain some level of professionalism. The third individual did not.

Dennis and his crew are the most professional, caring, compassionate, respectful people that I have EVER dealt with. I was stressed out already due to the situation of my move & knew I needed a reputable company at a price within my budget to unload my things at the ABF hub, load them into their truck, secure it all, drive it to me about an hour away, unload and assemble. I also have stairs in my townhome. I had no idea that the previous company I hired originally to pack the ABF truck was beyond a nightmare. Almost all of my things arrived broken because the company that did the original load never secured anything. So, when Dennis’s crew got to the ABF terminal and were beginning to try and unload, my things started falling out. I’m so thankful that nobody was physically injured ... but Dennis and his HELPING HANDS crew cleaned up glass, shattered acrylic, metal, wood, and then they picked up my things, including clothing and personal affects, off of the ground, and used their own boxes, blankets, straps, etc to clean and salvage as much as they could. Dennis and his guys were literally my guardian angels that day & Dennis is such a compassionate person that he is still in touch to see how things are going and if there’s anything more he can do to help. They went above, beyond, around, and back again to help me. And they never once even considered charging me extra. I wish I had the means to compensate them like I feel they deserve.. I would have paid him more than double because of the mess they cleaned up for me, and then I would have generously tipped the entire crew. They are SO kind. There aren’t enough stars to describe the level of professionalism and care that I was shown. Please, do yourself a favor and hire this company to handle your move, or any other service you need that they offer, you won’t regret it. I have movers for life with Dennis’s company, and will hire them for every single job I might have that I can give them. I recommend them a million % .. this company sets the bar so high & then exceeds it. Thank you to Dennis & the guys.. your kindness will never be forgotten.

Dennis (owner) was highly responsive to my initial inquiry as well as the follow up questions I had which was a big factor in selecting Helping Hands. Glad I did. Led by the foreman, the crew that day did an excellent job. They were kind, professional and were scrupulous in their attention to detail. Would absolutely hire them again.

The crew that arrived was punctual, professional, courteous and friendly. They wrapped and protected the furniture they moved very well and was amazing to watch them pack it into the Pods. The only cons was the prices of their packing material was extravagant! We did have about 30 blankets we rented from Pods, for a fraction of what they would have charged us. All and all the crew supervisor did give us a break on some of the packing material costs and they were so efficient with their time. We did incur additional cost to move a couch to my sons down the road, which we expected. Overall a positive experience. Would recommend and will use them to unpack the pods next month.

Excellent, professional and courteous service from the beginning to the end! They told me they would be at my house at 8:30 am. They were at my home by 8:20 am! Helping Hands Movers cared about my furniture and ensured they wrapped my things so nothing would be damaged. They were non-stop, hardworking and very organized. Definitely well trained! I would highly recommend Helping Hands Mover and will no doubt use them for any future moves.

OUTSTANDING!!! Best experience I have had with any move. Called to confirm appointment day before as well as when they were on the way. Had even called and offered to do it the day before if I was ready. Showed up on time and were immediately ready for work. They finished in about one third of the time I had estimated. They all worked quickly and efficiently and put everything where we wanted. All had great personalities to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again or reccomend them to anyone. Great customer service from start to finish. WAY ABOVE EXPECTATIONS.

The movers were very kind and took great care of my furniture, and belongings. I was a little nervous getting my furniture downstairs, but the movers took their time that they would stop and maneuver themselves so they wouldn’t hit the walls, it was great. Would highly recommend if you want to keep you’re previous home in tact and your furniture clean and not damaged

Very well. I was very happy With the guys and their professionalism. I have moved many times and had some horrible experiences. But, I can happily say, Everything went exceptionally well. I will use helping hands if ever needed again.

Second move project with Helping Hands, and I love them. The price is excellent and we got top notch service. Dennis Davon, and Eric were excellent and so efficient. They moved seamlessly as a team. Four stops and they did it within 3 hours and with 5 minutes to spare. They will remain my favorite and only moving company I will ever use. P.S.They're mum's favorite.

I hired these movers to move me from a two bedroom apartment to a one bedroom apartment. I can not say enough good things about this company. They were very professional, they never stopped moving. Sean and Anthony were the two primary movers and handled this move better then any movers I’ve had in the past. I will definitely recommend them and hire them for future moves. I can’t say enough good things.
