Josh and Jake showed up to do my move. They were there a few minutes ahead of time. They immediately started. They moved quickly. Josh was excellent! Very friendly, professional and can move at a good pace with no problem. Jake, on the other had seemed to struggle a little. Was a little concerned that he would maybe pass out, but he made it thru okay. Nothing was damaged, except Jake dragged my mattress causing it to get a little dirty. Other than that, everything else went well.

I dealt with Dennis setting it all up. He was up front with all the details made sure I knew everything involved, cost, etc so I wasn't blindsided later on. I had only planned on having them move me out of my townhouse and I was going to move it into my new house myself. They made it look so easy and did such a great job loading up the truck for me, after we closed my wife and I decided to just call Dennis and see fi the same two gentleman would return to unload the truck for us as well. Thank god we did, with all the stress involved with moving and closing, I am happy to say we were able to count on Helping Hands Moving to just take care of this with no issues. Everything was loaded into the truck carefully and strategically, we didn't have any damage or missing items. couldn't have asked for more. Thanks

This is the first time that I have used a moving company and it was way more expensive than anticipated. When we purchased the online coupon the owner contacted us and asked us very simple questions about our address and if we had stairs. The owner didn't take the time to understand our needs, how many things we had to move and the time it would take. We were told that the moving team would call us with a 30 minute notice which never happened and we didn't have time to pack everything that we needed to pack. When the movers arrived they were very aware of the building and how much time it would take to move the entire household. The team leader was very good, fast but the other two members were young and inexperienced. In order to get the job done on time I did as much of the moving as the team did. As we were approaching the time allocated that we purchased with our coupon I had to tell the workers to leave things at the apartment and I would come back and get them. So the total time it took was five hours and we purchased a coupon for 3 hours. It was an additional cost of $300 dollars which wasn't budgeted for. When I contacted the owner about this additional charge he told me that he shared with my wife that it wouldn't be completed in time for the coupon that we purchased which was a lie. This contractor was unprofessional and called my wife a liar. I asked for any type of refund because this wasn't budgeted. He told me that what we got was a steal for the building that we lived in. The movers that moved us knew the building very well and the owner should have given us more insight on what the actual cost should have been. It didn't make any sense to purchase a coupon for something that was going to cost us more. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was alright. They were prompt and did a good job. I had nothing particular to complain about.

Everything went well. Drivers were courteous and friendly. They were very apologetic about being late due to their truck breaking down.

Helping Hands was extremely professional and excellent movers. The quote process went well, very straightforward and a fair rate. No hidden fees or up charges when the team arrived. I lived in a very "uptight" complex, requiring all kinds of documentation from movers before they entered the property. Helping Hands had everything in order and swiftly supplied all of the required documents to the complex management. On moving day the team arrived on time. When they arrived my complex security team threw them a few cure balls, making the move 3x more difficult than it had to be. While none of us were happy about it, the guys smiled, agreed and kept on moving. I felt bad for them having to lug things a lot farther than was truly necessary.. but they did it with out one complaint. Everything arrived at my new house in one pice, in good condition, clean as just as it was before. The move took far longer that we all executed, they guys made the necessary adjustments to their schedule and never complained. They were happy, very positive and always professional. I would highly recommend and reuse Helping Hands.

Arrived a little early, worked swiftly and carefully; even helped with some heavy specialty tools and equipment from my workshop (including a 302 ford V8 that fell off its engine stand because I hadn't tightened a bolt- they caught it by hand before it hit the ground!!!) Everything was as promised, with no surprises. Definitely recommend and would use again if the need arises.

Superb! Could not have been better. We bought a fully furnished condo, but we like our furniture in the condo we were moving from better. Dennis figured out how to swap the furniture between the condos. Dennis called a few times to coordinate the move and check the weather to be sure we would not be moving in the rain. He arrived, on time, with two trucks and four men. As one pair of men loaded the furniture from our old condo, another pair of men loaded the furniture from our new condo. Then they did the swap unloading our furniture in the new condo and and the other furniture in our old condo. The move took 1/2 day. He and his men could not have been more professional

These guys were wonderful. Nothing was packed when they arrived. They packed everything with care, moved everything very quickly as we were on a time schedule. Then they moved everything into the new residence, which is a split level home. Nothing was damaged and all the guys were completely professional. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys for making a very stressful situation easy to handle.

It was a little expensive but they did a good job!

I called Denis sun.morning for set up the move for tue. Denis called me on Mon.to confirm the arrived on tue.on time showed them what needed to be taken to our other place I must say they did one great job will use the same crew for the rest of the next move. Denis called us around 11 & checked w/us to see how it all went that's what I call a company that cares about there Workmanship no need to say more. We moved f/N.Y to Fl. And we used a big name mover was not happy w/it at all. But u live & learn.

Outstanding job. The guys were meant to start the job at 9am and they were ready and rolling BY 9am. Very helpful with any matter during the move, never complained, very nice people. They never stopped until the job was done. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend.

Dennis was able to schedule quickly. Josh, Matt, and Ryan were on time, friendly, and efficient. Service was provided as promised. No complaints.

Could have had way more room in the truck if organized properly. Left without finishing the job. Stood around at the end for half an hour doing nothing when items could have been taken outside and charged me 60 dollars for that half hour. Now I have to hire additional movers to finish the job (are re-do what they did in the truck) This sets me behind on my move to California from Florida. Terrible experience overall.

They arrive 2 hrs late but it wasn't their fault - bad traffic and many accidents on I-95 that day - apologized for that. Quick removal of stuff already packed. However, limited use of protectors and blankets - few scratches on a couple tables - minor. Very professional and responsive. Would use again.

Called for an estimate and received a prompt return call. My move was scheduled with only a few days notice. Also received a reminder call the day before the move and was given a start time. On moving day the guys arrived on schedule and they were all very pleasant and professional. I even received a follow up call after the job was done to ask how everything went!! This was as smooth and pleasant as a move could possibly be. The guys were great: professional, on time and very careful with the contents of our home. I will definitely use them in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

As soon as they got there, almost all of them started complaining about having to work. I asked them to pack certain things and I asked them not to pack my medicine and supplements. It took me about 2 months to get that back on track and in the mean time, I was not taking the correct medicines and/or the correct dosages. The whole time they were working the only thing they were worried about was when they would be done.

This is my second time using this moving company. They are so easy to deal with and everything went smoothly this time as well as the last. They handle unanticipated problems as they arise patiently and professionally. They were able to fit us in with not a lot of notice which I really appreciated as it was a very busy time being that it was a Saturday at the end of the month. It was a difficult move at the end as they had to get a very heavy Ikea bed that would have taken a long time to disassemble up the stairs and through tight doorways. They did a fantastic job and saved me the money that I would have had to spend had they taken the bed apart. I would definitely use them again.

They arrived 10 minutes early; not too early, but it gave us enough time to do the paperwork. They were very nice, professional, and communicated with me well. I have an antique dresser and one of the legs had broken previously. Other movers have loaded things on top it and caused the leg to break again, but Helping Hands was very careful and nothing got broken. I was very happy with them.

I was very pleased with this company. We had very large ornate oriental furniture that needed to be moved from one location to two different locations. The company owner was responsive, professional, and courteous. His employees showed up on time, wrapped all of the pieces very carefully and handled all the pieces with care, they were also very professional. This company made what could have been a nightmare move very smooth. I would definitely recommend and use helping hands again. Thank you.

We had a small glitch on the scheduling of the move, but they were quick to respond and get the scheduling worked out. The movers were very prompt, careful, and did a great job. One of the smoothest moves I've ever had.
