They did a great job for me!
Description of Work: I needed custom carpentry to replace certain boards on the outside of my house. It was a tricky job because of the tongue-and-groove nature of the boards.

We had an email exchange about work needed back in Oct, culminating with the homeowner telling me on Oct 17 to not come out because they were going to be in another state until December. I told her to contact me before they came back and we'll set up a new appointment. Never did, instead left a bad review. Sad.

I pose the question: Why would anyone give a "C" review to a contractor who they have not even spoken to yet? I actually went out and bid this job on December 1st, yet the review of my company was dated Nov 28th. The customer and I had been in constant communication via email as I was initially out-of-town. Sunday evening November 29th, I phoned her to schedule the bid for Dec 1. I then saw this review and decided to post a reply. No work had been performed when this reply was posted on 12/2/2015. I am stunned, shocked, and amazed that a potential client would review my company before I met the person or a bid was submitted.

Can't get into your garage during a rainy day or evening? The joy of having a functioning auto-garage door opener is revealed at those times. The installation is not overly complicated but time consuming. Glad to do it for this homeowner.

I was a little hesitant about having a handyman/contractor come out to the house without knowing much about the company. At first glance, I felt more comfortable. Nate was very clean cut and professional in his appearance. He gave me a quote that was more than fair for the work to be done and I agreed. I am the type of person that these guys hate because I want to make sure the job is done right and I am over the shoulder about it. Nate didn't seem to mind. He was very conversational, explained to me his plan of attack, and kept me informed on any concerns along the way. He even had a camera to look inside the wall before making a cut so he didn't hit anything he didn't want to. Needless to say, I eventually realized that he was as concerned about doing a good job as I was and I left him alone. The finished product exceeded my expectations. It was clean, done faster than expected, and there were no surprises.. Thank you Nate and Pioneer Maintenance for a good experience. Nice to have a reliable, honest company to call for things like this when needed in the future.
