On Sunday evening around 8pm, our compressor for the hvac stopped running. We left messages for two different companies - Jacob's and one other. Jacob's returned our call at 7:44am Monday morning and offered to send someone over immediately. -- Todd arrived by 8am, took a look at thermostat and unit in the garage, then went out to check the compressor. Upon turning the compressor switch back on, he immediately knew what the problem was. He removed the cover and verified the capacitor model and gave us a price. Upon my approval, he went about replacing the capacitor and had our unit running again in about 10 minutes. Before leaving, Todd went over the unit to verify that there were no other issues. Everyone I had contact with was extremely polite and professional. Jacob's was very responsive and we will be sure to call on them again, should the need arise. -- Cost provided in review is with $25 Angie's List coupon. Side note: the other company has still not returned our call.

Technicians were on time & professional. Work was performed accurately & with my home's integrity in the forefront at all times. All promises were absolutely fulfilled that were made to me in so far as my satisfaction. Even 4 yrs after the install I had an issue I wanted changed & they cheerfully came out and did exactly as I asked. One rarely encounters companies today with such integrity.

HEATING AND COOLING WAS NOT CYCLING ON. TURNED OUT TO BE A FAULTY CIRCUIT BREAKER. TECHNICIAN REPLACED CIRCUIT BREAKER CHECKED OUT UNIT. HE SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGABLE EXPLAINED ADDITIONAL SERVICE POLICY{$I57.00} IF I WERE INTERESTED WHICH I WAS.

Excellent service start to finish from understanding our needs to completion of project - installers were professional, friendly, courteous, clean.

They were very good. They answered the phone and came to do the job. Our overall experience with them has been excellent.

We have a contract with them. They do regular maintenance and they also installed our new AC last fall. It's a heat pump so it's all the same unit. They are the best in town. We've used them for a long time. There is not anything I wouldn't give them an A on, they are very good.

We had them out for an A/C tune up and were pleased with the service and the technician and bought a service contract from them.

We arrived to our home and our air conditioning unit was not working. We called for estimates and their price quote was very reasonable, compared to other companies. They were also very friendly on the phone. When the serviceman called back he was very informative, helpful and gave us an accurate time of service. Upon arrival he was very professional and kind. We ended up signing up for a maintenance contract at a very reasonable cost.

The company calls when the technician is on his way and will also call if your scheduled time is not going to be met

Arrived on schedule. The gentleman was a very knowledgeable salesperson but he did not have any tools or gages to properly evaluate the condition of the unit. He did a visual inspection and quoted a price for the units replacement which I felt was on the high side. I ended up selectiing Certified Climate Control (see my review ) who not only replaced the unit but also fixed some problems I was having with a second unit for $1000 less than this quote.

The inspector was professional and competent.

The service was quick and complete. I will use Jacob Heating in the future.

Everything went exactly as it should. Technician was on time, diagnosis was correct, price was fair.

Work done on time as promised with no problems and no delays. Completely satisfied with work and with the new unit and with workmen's professional behavior.

We had used another company in town for A/C maintenance, and although they were competent, they did not stand out. Jacobs was very easy to work with, from the prompt appointment scheduling to the politeness of the service rep. We were so impressed we changed from our former A/C company to Jacobs, and we have been with them ever since. We rate them a 10 out of 10.

Ray first came in late Summer when my wife was home and I was away. The system stopped working altogether and it was 95 degrees outside. He came right away and repaired a bad switch. About a month later the same system started freezing up and not working very efficiently. Again, Ray came out, diagnosed the problem as a coolant leak in the cooling coil. His office contacted the manufacturer who said the full warranty had expired, but that they would replace parts for free. I would only be responsible for labor. The office ordered the part and Ray came back with a helper as soon as the part arrived and replaced the entire cooling coil. The most recent visit happened on the first cool night of the Fall here in Florida. Although the thermostat was selected to cool, the system started cycling on and off between heat and cool without any input from me. A call to Jacob and they let me talk directly with Jim, the service manager. He made suggestions as to what I might do myself to repair the problem. We mutually agreed that a service call would probably be the best course of action and, since they had just been out recently to repair the coil, Jim said he would be as frugal with his pricing as possible. Although they were very busy, Jim arranged to have Ray come out that same day and trouble-shoot the system. Turns out that the thermostat had gone bad. Ray fixed it with parts on his truck, all the while giving me a layman's explanation of the system and the problems when certain parts fail. Ray has always been courteous and takes pride in what he does. He even puts shoe covers on his feet when he comes into the house so as not to track in dirt. This company is A+ in my mind.
