JD and Pablo just installed the new system for me and they were excellent. Very polite, efficient and they did it in a timely manner. Explained everything, and showed me pictures of what they did as I use a walker and it's hard to get to the back of my home. Would always recommend them to everyone. Thanks so much

J.D., Pablo, Phillip and Larry arrived right on time and did a fantastic job replacing our aging Heat and Air Conditioning unit. They left the place spotless and were friendly and courteous. I expected them to be here all day and was amazed that they completed the job in 5 hours.

JD & pablo arrive on time & in a timely manner removed the smaller/narrow 4 inch air vents & installed wider 8 & 7 inch air vents in the bedrooms. very professional & left no mess to clean up.

To start, the estimator was extremely thorough, listening to my experience with my previous system and understanding this is a 80 year old house. I had other companies come in and recommend various system sizes, but Jacob was the only one who did a Manual J load calculation, the industry standard. He was here at the house for 1 1/2 hours and did a thorough analysis of my system needs, recommending the Aprilaire whole house filter system, so I would not need an additional air return. Plus I have noticed the improvement in the air quality with the installation of this upgraded filter system, given the allergies in my family. I also went with Jacob based on the recommendation of folks who have used them in the past, all very positive. They are more expensive, and that is the only reason I gave a B for cost. But I have had the system installed for over two months, and I am very pleased with the installation as I came to realize in my research is that most problems with new systems are with the installation. Jacob was able to install the system within 2 days after signing the proposal. After 2 months, I have had no issues with the system or with the installation. The old saying is you get with you pay for, and it shows, as I am very pleased with my new system.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS COMPANY!! Turns out I had tiny black ants in the starting element. Technician showed me the part after he replaced it. I called around 9:00 am, and repair was completed before 11:00. This is the second time I have called Jacob and both calls have been quick, professional, and fairly priced. Technician also told me to have my bushes near the unit trimmed and to have the area sprayed periodically. I appreciated the fast, highly personal service!!

They have been out a couple of times. They did quality service. My husband was happy with it.

In Dec.2013 we purchased a complete air conditioning system from Jacob Heating and Air Conditioning. We could not have been more satisfied with the purchase and installation of the unit. We are recommending the company to friends and family!

We have used company for several years and paid yearly in advance for maintenance and were happy with them until the last year. The last two times they sent an employee that was definitely not up to the task. My husband was at work when the air conditioner stopped cooling. I called and the employee checked it out and said it was a Freon leak and that he could fill it but he didn't know if it would last the day and altogether he wanted to charge me about 1100.00 to fill it and do some repairs not knowing if he would have to come back the next day and repeat the same repair and charge me all over again. I called for the manager to call me but he did not.. The employee tried to intimidate me into buying a new one or do extensive repair work. He knew he was talking over my head about the different problems and he almost had me convinced. I was finally able to reach my husband and he said to fill it with freon and not do anything else and not buy anything else that Jacob was trying sell me. My husband called another company who came out later that day when my husband was at home and the salesman told him the air conditioner was fine and did not need to be replaced or repaired. It has been 5 months and the air conditioner has worked fine. Obviously we did not need a new one nor did we need the repairs. We have not used Jacob's since and never will.

I have been using them for almost ten years. I have never had any problems with the work they have done on my homes. They are very punctual to appointments. They have been great!

This was the first time I have hired them. They were able to come out quickly on a Friday afternoon which I appreciated. They had the part on the truck and was able to complete the repair in the initial visit. Everything turned out very good.

We use their services between four separate households within the family. They are wonderful.

Two technicians arrived on time and were professional in their work and attire. They did a great job installing a new control AC unit. They worked for 8 hours in 94 degree weather and now our house is cooling nicely.

The crew from Jacob did a fantastic job from start to finish. Everyone was very professional and thorough throughout the process. They may not be the least expensive quote you find, but the costs are offset by the level of service and quality workmanship you get from the crew at Jacob. They follow thru on promises and do not shy away from unexpected issues that arise during the process. I highly recommend and will continue to use Jacob for my HVAC needs.

They are always punctual, professional, and friendly. The system works well, so I haven't had any reason to call them for repairs.

Jacob relocated a vent that was at the highest point of my vaulted ceiling. I called them and their representative came evaluated the situation made recommendations and provided me with necessary literature. The job was scheduled and their technicians came out and relocated vent and installed new grills. They were extremely courteous and professional. When they left there was not a speck of dust left behind. They were very thorough in explaining to me how new filter system works. No more climbing ladders and best part system filter is now replaced only once a year! I highly recommend Jacob Heating And AC to anyone.

On Sunday evening around 8pm, our compressor for the hvac stopped running. We left messages for two different companies - Jacob's and one other. Jacob's returned our call at 7:44am Monday morning and offered to send someone over immediately. -- Todd arrived by 8am, took a look at thermostat and unit in the garage, then went out to check the compressor. Upon turning the compressor switch back on, he immediately knew what the problem was. He removed the cover and verified the capacitor model and gave us a price. Upon my approval, he went about replacing the capacitor and had our unit running again in about 10 minutes. Before leaving, Todd went over the unit to verify that there were no other issues. Everyone I had contact with was extremely polite and professional. Jacob's was very responsive and we will be sure to call on them again, should the need arise. -- Cost provided in review is with $25 Angie's List coupon. Side note: the other company has still not returned our call.
