Description of Work: I bought a "Big Deal" from Angie's List from Sun Electric. They were very responsive; called and set up an appointment quickly. They sent a confirming email with a picture of the electrician who would be coming for identification. He arrived and did the electrical inspection that I had paid for and a couple of other jobs. We did have a problem with a dimmer switch that they installed, but again they were very responsive and sent the electrician back quickly to change the switch.

Description of Work: My 15K home generator would not run for more than 5 seconds. Called Reliable because they had many A ratings. Tech came out on time, very courteous. Agreed to pay $295 for a diagnostic analysis. He spent a lot of time on the phone with Generac engineers. He told me the stator had gone which is the guts of the generator. He had never seen this problem before in the field. He offered no solution and was very skeptical about taking on such a large repair and said there might be other problems with the generator and could not guarantee a successful repair. He said that he will turn in his report and someone will call me as to what to do next. So far in the ensuing month I have heard nothing from this company as to a recommendation. I feel I have paid a lot of money for a diagnostic (and have no problem with that) but this company offered me no solution and has left me in the lurch without ever getting back to me.

We did however, back in April of 2013 provide you with several different estimates, upon your request, 1 for a 17kw generator, 1 for a 7kw generator, and 1 for a portable generator and all of the proposed systems would in fact work as designed. Shortly after the estimates were provided, and after a few conversations, our communications with you went unanswered. Based on your post, we think you have us confused with a different company that may have also provided you with an estimate. Please let us know if you are still interested in the project and we would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have.
