Description of Work: We found Pack On the Go, not to be confused with a company with a similar name, through Angie's List after another local mover, also well rated on Angie's List, failed to honor its contract with us. Moving from Virginia, we had two large POD containers to unload and unpack, leaving enough room to get our Toyota in the garage---all on short notice. Nick Ford, the owner, gave us a very reasonable hourly rate, assuring us, "We'll work it out. And he did, although he had to shuffle some workers around to accommodate us. Three amazing, professional, hard-working people arrived right on time, and despite the heat and humidity, worked virtually non-stop until both containers were unloaded, the beds were set up, and the clothes were in the closet. A couple of days later, they returned to help us continue the unpacking and clear the garage of enough boxes to get our car in. All of them were patient, easy to work with, and charming! We have one more load coming down in the fall. Pack On the Go is the only company I will call. This time we'll give them lots more notice!

+ -1 moreMoved from our apartment in Boynton to a townhome in Delray Beach back in 2005. They were affordable, friendly, and timely. Family-run business where the young son is mostly the phone guy (business end). Funny to watch because he mostly bosses his family on how to do things but doesn't lift a finger himself. Anywho, we moved again from Delray to Boynton Beach in spring of 2007. Both moves involved sets of stairs and a moderate amount of large furniture to be moved. During the 1st move they took apart our futon and didn't reassemble it properly but for the price and overall experience we overlooked that and used them a 2nd time. The 2nd move they didn't bring the right size truck and made us wait and wait and wait FOREVER to get our things moved...then had to rechedule (with us HALF moved) to move the rest another day. If that wasn't enough, they broke a lamp and the mechanism to our sleeper sofa. Again, friendly guys and very affordable but I wouldn't use again if I had quality furniture that I didn't want broken OR didn't have a lot of time to move. We're moving now and I'm on here looking for someone else to do our move and thought I'd add Pack on the Go while it was on my mind ;)
Description of Work: They move furnishings to and from homes or storage facilities. I'm sure they'd move furniture around (rearrange) within your home as well if you asked.
