Everything was fine. He was very efficient. He explained everything to me. He's done it right away. He was pretty quick and very efficient.

Ultimately I had the work done by another source.

From start to finish everything was handled to the best level of professionalism imaginable. Especially the electrician, named Rusty, he fixed every electrical outlet in my house, and answered all of my questions in a friendly and polite manner, and believe me, I had a ton of questions. I paid for two hours of electrical service expecting it to really be a three hour job. He finished well under two hours and cleaned everything up afterwards. Rusty works really fast and was awesome. Then proceeded to answer even more questions and provided me with some additional ideas and tips for future home improvement projects. Thank you, Rusty. Elcon Electric needs to give him a pay rise for outstanding customer service.

I turned on the lights in my kitchen and to my surprise, no lights. I then went to the electric panel and switched the breakers off and on. Still no lights and to top it off I then discovered that the outlets in the bathrooms were not working. I called my daughter in New York to ask her to find me an electrician, she maintains a dual membership (New York & Florida) on Angieslist for this very reason. We are both widows and when services are needed Angieslist has been an invaluable resource. I called to setup an appointment and customer service was exceedingly helpful and efficient. The evening prior and the morning of the appointment they called to confirm the date and the approximate arrival time of their serviceman. The serviceman was very courteous, polite and friendly. Unfortunately he did not have the needed dimmer switch and had to go to Home Depot to purchase it but once he returned the installation was done quickly. The outlets in the bathrooms were not working so he had to trace the lines up into the hot attic and discovered loose connections in a junction box. He tightened the connections which returned power to the outlets. I will definitely use their services again if the need arises.

I was expecting Brad as that is who I requested since we had gone over the projects, however Jon showed up. Jon was on time, very professional and was willing to call the office to find out about Brad. However I decided to just have him complete the work. he did a good job, cleaned up after himself. he also explained about the ground fault located out side and checked that to make sure it was functioning properly. there was one other project to get done however I bought the wrong size so he was not able to do that. all in all I would use them again.

It was a little complicated but it was only because of the actual light fixture not because of them.

He was very fast but very thorough. He corrected all the problem I needed taking care of and even offered advice on future repairs.

Checked the electrical panel and then figured out how to fix our pool pump, discussed future projects and set up future date for him to come back and do the work. Brad was really helpful, great ideas. very reliable and just all around nice competent professional! Yeah!

Jared from Elcon showed up on time and walked through the house with me, listening to what had to be done and explained clearly how it would be handled. He was professional and performed the services requested with no further guidance or input from us. This is an older house being renovated and I plan to use them again next month as the project continues. Also the office staff is very responsive and friendly.

Christian did a good job installing the fan, however, there was a much better way to install the wiring. Since the wires couldn't go through a concrete ceiling, he had to tunnel around the wall to an outlet. My living room has very visible strips extending all around my living room, when he could have just gone in the opposite direction closest to another outlet with much less extension showing to tunnel the wires. I was never told about other options. Now, when I enter my home, all I see are strips traveling around my living room walls. I also have to get on my knees to regulate the fan speeds, since he installed the box to an outlet almost to the floor. He was due to come yesterday and correct it, which would have cost me much more money ( I was offered no courtesy discount ) but I waited 11/2 hours and was told was by Beverly that he was still working at his previous job and it would be at least an hour more before he could get to me, so I cancelled the service and will now have to find another Electrician.

They were very good and hardworking. They do not rip you off.

The job was completed quickly, efficiently, and successfully so that all inspections are now up to code.

Wonderful prompt service. When the service gentleman ran into a wee bit of a problem, they sent another service gentleman free of charge the next day who 100% completed the job. Would definitely recommend this company!

Technician was extremely professional. Changed out all outlets per the workorder, ran my credit card and then asked me if I had any further electrical questions he could answer. I ended up asking several about some recessed lighting, including replacing the bulbs. He assisted me with replacing the bulbs which included actually removing them from the ceiling by ladder. He went above and beyond and didn't charge me any additional money. I was extremely impressed with this company and would use them again in a heartbeat. Not all companies assist so willingly after they've been paid. Well done folks. Thank you for the wonderful exemplary customer service.

I switched the patio fan on, and he said the switch wasn't working and I'd have to use the chain. I said I wanted it fixed, as it was working very recently, and he said that would be $135. It was very overpriced, and way over my head. He was a little snippy, too. I would never use them again.

My pool light started to work intermittently over the last week and living in Florida we all hear the horror stories of children getting electrocuted from miswired pools lamps. So I immediately shut off the breakers and came to Angie's List to see if I could find a company to come out and take a look over everything. As a parent with 2 kids I didn't want to take chance. A few factors were involved with picking Elcon Electric. One is their AL ratings and they had a coupon of $200 for 2 hours and that seemed extremely reasonable to me. After buying the coupon I was contacted within 24 hours via message on Angie's List by Laurie. I proceeded to contact her via phone and we setup an appointment for the following day. She was extremely friendly and very professional. She gave a 2 hour window for when the electrician, Brad, would arrive - in this case between 2-4pm. Brad showed up just a little before 4pm. Just as he was pulling in I even received a call from Laurie letting me know he was running a little late but he would be there. Perfect timing. I proceeded to show Brad the mess of old boxes and useless timers on the side of the house and explained to him the issue with the light. I had already pulled the light out and took it up to the pool store so I know it wasn't an issue with the light itself and more with the wiring or the photo sensor. He opened up the transformer box that was running to the pool light and sure enough it was a complete mess. A wire nut had melted off along with a few wires that had melted together. No good. Within an hour Brad had rewired the transformer box and switches so it could be safely used again. After that he proceeded to remove all the old original timer boxes and stepdown transformer boxes that weren't doing anything but rusting on the side of the house. These boxes were close to 40 years old and really for my own piece of mind they needed to go. Our sprinkler timer box was not properly grounded and he went ahead and fixed that as well. When we had our sprinkler pump repaired we were "informed of the issue" rather than them taking the effort to fix it. Another thing off the list. After that I jumped back in the pool with the lamp and went ahead and fished the wire to Brad and proceeded to rewire the lamp to the conduit. After some testing the pool light worked and we were good to go. Brad gave me some suggestions but never pushed up-selling. He was able to get done exactly what I needed to get done in the time I paid for and was extremely informative answering some other questions that didn't pertain to the issues at hand. He was extremely helpful, professional, and very down to earth. All in all I'm not very knowledgeable with electrical, it's not my forte. But I do feel I made the correct choice in choosing a company and would recommend Elcon Electric to others. Thank you much!

I used the 24 hour emergency service and was clearly told it was $250 for the call. I was told they would be there in 1 hour, it took much longer and I was not kept updated on the arrival time. I would have used someone else if I would have known it would be more than 2 hours. The tech. fixed the power, but did not have the right circuit breaker he needed, So I had to pay an additional $200 the next day to have the breaker replaced. $450 for a breaker is way excessive! After the work was completed it took 4 phone calls to get them to send me the invoice. I can not recommend them.

We set up an estimate and not only did the electrician come but he came early which is amazing. Very professional and provided an estimate and explanation of the what the job would take. We set up installation date and Rusty, another electrician, came on time and did the work. Very prompt, professional and excellent job. We would recommend. We may have some additional work in the near future and plan to use them again.

The light timer was installed good and worked, but for the price of $130 I think it is excessive.

I was not at the house when the work was performed but the technician was able to send me pictures prior to installing the lights. The work came out good and I would recommend them.

The electrician came out and did not have all the correct materials so they had to come back. Then he had a problem and had to wait for another electrician to come out. The actual electrical work was good but the hardware they used was not of high quality and we ended up replacing them ourselves. The electrician was nice but I would not work with them again.
