Beginning with the quote - Rick came to our house to scope out the job. He saw the ceilings, what repairs would need to be done, our furnishings and wood floors. He explained how the work would progress, advised what items in the house would need to be cleared out and those that could stay. Rick, Cliff and Chance arrived on time each day. We had selected the option to have them move the heavy furniture. They were careful and respectful of our furnishings while moving them. They took their time to ensure the taping/plastic sheeting of the rooms was done correctly which was great because the popcorn removal is in my husband's words "whadamess". When I walked through the house after the first day, the 2nd layer of plastic was still up, but the top layer of plastic with all the popcorn droppings was gone. The house was in good condition considering the work that was done that day. On the 2nd day they re-taped the seams on the great room ceiling, repaired 2 holes and then applied the knock-down. The last layer of plastic was removed and again the house was pretty clean after the days work. The 3rd day was painting day :) They applied primer to the ceiling, started the fans and had a short lunch. They then applied the final coat of ceiling paint (leaving me a nice sized jar for any future touch-ups). Once the painting was done, they began the clean up - which there wasn't a lot to do - sweeping, wiping some of the surfaces and finally they brought the furniture back into the house. For years I had put off having the ceilings done knowing what was involved in this job and the potential for damaging our floors or furniture. Rick and his crew were very professional, efficient and did an outstanding job. Nothing was broken or damaged in our home from this project. Great job guys and thank you!

After I hung the drywall myself in my master bath, I called in an expert for the finish work. Rick was extremely professional and courteous. He did a high quality job and was great about keeping the worksite as clean as possible.

It went great. The wall was patched and textured. You can't even tell there was ever a hole there.

The whole process went very smoothly. Rick visited the house to give us an estimate for the job. He had to move the start date back a week from what was originally scheduled, but communicated with us early to let us know. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and was able to finish a big job in two days. There was minimal mess and our ceiling looks great!

Rick came to our home to give us an estimate and was very honest and gave us the ins and outs of what the job would entail. He was booked for a little bit, but when our time came to have our work done, we couldn't be more happy. His team came in and helped us move the remaining large furniture to enable them to get all of the rooms in our house sprayed. They spent a good amount of time sealing and taping off the work areas, which were highly appreciated. Communication was open throughout the project making sure no nicks or holes in the wall were missed. They sprayed orange peel on the walls to add texture. Cleanup was outstanding. Rick and his team are great people and a pleasure to work with. Hope to use them again in the future to have our ceilings textured!

He did call and say initially that he would come by my home between 10-12 on Saturday. I waited and he did not call or come by. It is now Tuesday and he still has not communicated. I am very upset because he came very highly recommended.

All of the work was done in 2 days. They moved all of the large furniture that needed to be moved. Requested that all of the small stuff be moved by us. They masked all of the walls and covered everything else. They cleaned up great and moved everything back to its original place. The job came out great.

Rick is an expert. He has many years of experience,and does the job the right way. A handyman probably would have just spackled over the problem, but rick diagnosed the issue and knew the right way to fix it for good. He pulled out the old tape that had been repaired poorly in the past, re-taped, spackled very smoothly, attached the drywall that had come loose to the metal framing in the ceiling tray, and textured at the end. He did a great job with the texture though there is no way to get it to match exactly without bringing in the machine and doing the whole ceiling all at once. Rick set the expectation with that up front so I knew it would not match perfectly. He did a great job wit the texture. I am very happy with how it looks. Rick is very busy since he does such a great job so you may have to wait a couple weeks depending on his schedule. He is in high demand. I will definitely always use him in the future if I ever need anymore drywall or ceiling repair.

How completely comfortable Rick was to work with. He arrived when he said he would. He laid out his thinking and estimates. He returned to do the work with a second person. They worked efficiently and effectively together. They cleaned up and returned everything to good order. Both men were pleasant. Rick said he would return to paint. He did, when he said he would and all was finished nicely. There was a joining seam that is a little strange but other than that, a beautiful job!

We had a tough doorframe to cover and blend with existing plaster walls and they did an amazing job. They were accurate with the quote, on time and very professional - especially in how they took time to cover the work area and prevent spill or dust from spreading. The final 10% is what can make or break a good repair job, and they did outstanding blending and finishing. Would highly recommend and use again.

They first came in and moved the living room furniture as needed and then put up plastic all over the walls and floors. They took the ceiling fan blades off three fans and covered the fans with plastic. They sprayed water on the popcorn ceiling and then scraped off all the popcorn. They retaped the ceiling joints as needed. They then use a machine to spray on the knockdown ceiling texture which then cures overnight. The next day they came and rolled on a primer coat which then was left to dry for 3 hrs. with fans blowing and air turned down to 72. They then put on a layer of latex paint and caulked as needed. They cleaned up very well after completion of the job.

Went great finished when they said they would. They did a great job. I am very pleased!

Rick did an amazing job repairing the knock down ceiling in my garage. He let me know going in that it was impossible to match the existing pattern without redoing the entire ceiling. After seeing the finished product, it's clear that he is a perfectionist because it looks amazing to the untrained eye. Rick was professional, courteous, reasonably priced and showed up early! 7:30 a.m. no less. Don't let painters or anyone else repair your drywall: call Rick. He is the best. Thanks.

Twice before we have had someone come out to try to fix 2 stress cracks in our porch ceiling, both without success. Then we found Rick on Angie's List. Rick was very professional and showed up as scheduled to do an initial estimate of the work involved. We scheduled a date for the work and again he showed up on the appointed day and time. Before starting he reviewed the work to be done. He partitioned off the areas to be worked on, so as to not get other areas of the porch dirty/messy. The work took 2 days and each day he completely cleaned up the porch area before leaving. The ceiling looks fantastic -- you can't tell where the patches are. He did a great job of matching the existing knockdown texture and matching the existing ceiling paint. If we ever have other drywall needs, we would hire Rick again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend him

Rick and his guys did a great job with a tricky soffit and and a rebuilt wall. They matched our original texturing beautifully.

This was no easy task since my kitchen is under renovation and I was having hardwood floors installed as well. Rick had to work around the team's schedules. Not only that, but each room was cluttered with stuff from other rooms. Rick moved every item carefully from one room to the next in order to gain ceiling access. And then he moved everything back again! He went above and beyond the call of duty not to mention his work is impeccable. My ceilings are now free from popcorn, bright and clean! In doing a kitchen remodel we found mold behind the old cabinets so we removed the sheetrock intending to hang new again ourselves. When we discovered it was also on the ceiling we decided to have a pro do it. Rick did a very good job, replaced the drywall, and instead of patching the ceiling suggested we reskin the entire ceilure. We took his advice (we already had 2 bad patches in the ceiling from previous roof leaks) and the final product was great. Will definitely use again.

I could not use Drywall doctor because he was booked up for months.

They repaired and re-textured two 12x12 cuts in my ceiling. The work that was done was beyond compare. Truly the work of an artist. Several other contractors have remarked on the fact that they simply cannot see where the ceiling was repaired. Absolutely the finest.

Prompt return of call. Scheduled work, showed up on time, excellent work of installing drywall. Very good to work with and consumer friendly. Very good experience.

He's a perfect gentlemen; great work - managed to work around my having an a/c installed and ducts being cleaned...and generally just a really nice low key professional looking guy. Highly recommend. His work was about $25 more than I thought I'd pay - but you don't feel bad paying a little extra when you get a great result.
