Description of Work: Drywall Doctor was very timely as far as getting us their quote and getting started with the work. The problem arose when they were advised of a section of drywall that needed additional work. They told us multiple times that they would send someone to our home to fix it. Unfortunately,no one has repaired the problem although they were paid IN FULL the day they allegedly finished the work. | |Also, the vendor from whom they buy the drywall for the jobs automatically sends lien notices to all homeowners so even though we paid for the work the day the work was allegedly completed, we received a pre-lien notice after making a payment. The notice was annoying because it advised that even if we paid the Drywall Doctor, we would be responsible for paying for the drywall product should Drywall Doctor not pay them. I then had to follow up for a few months before receiving a release notice.

My name is Rick and I am one of several people that advertise as the Drywall Dr. I believe you have responded to the wrong drywall dr . We get all our drywall from Lowes and we don't do big drywall jobs since we are a small company.

Description of Work: I found Rick through Angie's List. He responded to my inquiry quickly, provided an estimate (which was excellent) and was able to do the work within a week of the estimate. He was on time, finished in the timeframe he expected and kept the work area very clean. I'll definitely call him again if I have drywall work to be completed!

Drywall doctor was very organized and on time. Communication was very good to let us know when they would be there, any issues, suggestions, and when it would be completed. Of utmost importance was specific feeling of trust from the very beginning. This was very refreshing and not always available in the repair/construction field. It was completed on time and looks fantastic. I will be using this group again in the very near future for additional work. Price was very reasonable, especially considering the and materials provided.
Description of Work: Addition of drywall on ceilings with smooth finish. Repair of damaged walls and ceiling of cracks and holes with smooth finish. Smooth finish added to walls. Minimized clean-up needed.

I called Drywall Doctorx about a month prior to the project. They made sure that the work was done on my schedule so that my project was done on time. I could not have asked for a better job! They took my 1954 home, and made it look brand new. We had drywall that had been damaged, and needed replacement, new drywall, popcorn, cracks in plaster ceilings, and they took care of everything without question. I would use Drywall Doctorx again! They have great pricing, I did check with several other vendors and their price and expertise was the best and they had the most experience.

We had Drywall Doctor complete some drywall popcorn removal for us a few years ago and we were very pleased with their work. We just recently had some additional drywall work that needed to be done and we were happy when we called Rick Powell and found that he was still in business. He came by that same day and gave us an estimate and was able to schedule us for the following week. They arrived on time on the day scheduled and went to work immediately preparing to remove the popcorn and apply the knockdown texture. They were professional, polite, efficient and very easy to work with. They did an excellent job and it is evident that Rick takes pride in the quality of his work. When they were finished I was amazed at how clean and neat they left everything. We were very happy with the results and highly recommend the Drywall Doctor. We would certainly use them again.
