My experience with Overhead Door Company was such a pleasant one. I was extremely satisfied at the professional experience with the company and how they worked with me to get this overwhelming job completed. I was extremely impressed from the start of the job how they made several contacts to make sure my concerns were handled. As the friendly technician Mac emailed my Work Order outlining the work performed, I noted in my file to always use Overhead Door Company for all my future garage fixtures and issues. Thanks to James and Mac for handling my garage problems. I will certainly recommend them and always remember this professional & satisfying experience. In situations like this, one doesn't mind paying the money for such treatment and satisfaction. Thanks Overhead Door Company!!

Efficient professional repair

Hired Overhead Door to replace a broken door because I used OD on a previous home in another state which worked out great. This appears to be a franchise so customer service is not consistent or a priority. Hiring OD has been a frustrating experience. First, they will charge you $125 to get a permit to install the door, all companies I found charge something up to $150.. You can do it yourself if you have the patience to deal with the county bureaucracy for $42. OD didn't know that HOA approval was required as well which would have held up the install. The county would not issue a permit with out HOA approval which was another $50 to the HOA. Second, they promised to have the door in two weeks which was important to me since my door was damaged and a safety risk. They do not stock doors. They have no warehouse and everything must be ordered which apparently takes 2-3 weeks to come from the midwest so they claim. So don't believe them when they say it will installed in less than 3-4 weeks because it won't. When they couldn't do the job on time as promised I asked for my money back. They not only refused but that same day cashed the check they were holding at my bank so I could not stop payment on it. Since I signed a contract I would not have done that anyway but their move to cash the check told me they are not a reputable company but a self serving greedy one. It will take another week and a half to get the door which I don't believe they ever ordered to begin with. I do not find them trust worthy on their promises as this point. I don't recommend this company, especially if you need a replacement right away. Go with a local owner/operator company where you can speak with the owner and they want your business not just your money.

This company was great. I was in dire need, late on a Saturday and they were there within an hour. Their technician (Hector) was professional, friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing and also to offer advice. Thanks for a quick response and outstanding service.

I was so happy with their service overall and the pricing is very reasonable! Our garage door was serviced, garage door opener chain tightened,a keypad was installed and we purchased two new garage door openers. All this for just over $200 complete! The technician was a true PRO!
