I called Sunshine Plumbing when I saw standing water in my kitchen. The owner came to my home the same day I called. He was able to detect the leaks and provided a thorough explanation of the problem and the cost to repair. We had a total of 3 leaks inside and outside our house which required breaking through some walls. The workers were very neat and respectful of our property. We ended up hiring Sunshine Plumbing 2 more times (when it rains it pours!), they replaced our water heater and also repaired a toilet. I am very satisified with their service and would hire them again.

I was doing some handy work around the house which included changing out a shower valve cartridge. After installing the cartridge, I went to turn the main valve back on and OMG, it just kept spinning. I'm good at fixing most things, but I knew this job called for a professional. Searching through Angie's List, I saw the great reviews about Sunshine Plumbing and verified in the listing they were available 24/7. Being Sunday, I was concerned about getting gouged with extra fees. I called one other company, and they had a high estimate fee that would not apply to the service. When I contacted Sunshine Plumbing, they quoted a fair emergency service estimate fee and noted that it would apply to the repair should I hire them. Robert arrived within 45 minutes of hanging up the phone. He quoted a fair price to remove and weld a new main valve. We also discussed changing out the hose valves since it was only a matter of time before they also failed. I saved money by changing them all on one service call. I called Sunshine at 1pm, and by 3pm the job was complete. Quality service at a reasonable price. Robert and Sunshine Plumbing rate an "A" in every category.

I had 3 plumbing problems, two were long-standing nagging problems and one was more immediate - one of my toilets had a broken handle and to flush it I had to reach into the water tank and lift the flapper, which was getting old. 1) Nagging problem #1) We bought this house with an antique looking claw foot tub that had rather ornate antique looking plumbing coming up out of the tile floor. The tub worked ok but no one likes baths here so if you tried to switch the lever to activate the shower water sprayed everywhere. Two different plumbers had come over the last two years, shaken their heads, and told me good luck. The last told me he was ordering some parts to allow him to put in a valve to allow water shut-off, after which he could disconnect the pipe assembly and he told me I could take it to a fancy plumbing supply store and maybe they match it up. After a couple months of not hearing I called back and turns out he's left the company and they had no record of anything. So this brings us to Sunshine and Robert, who came yesterday. He looked at it and said, "Has anyone ever tried just tightening this thing up?" After feeling a little dumb I said no, I don't think so. So he got his wrench and some plumber's tape, took it apart, cleaned things off, put it back together tightly and correctly and, lo and behold, problem solved. I went down to the local big box store and bought a shower wand attachment and we now have a functioning shower with good pressure and all. Woo HOO! 2) Nagging problem #2) The shower in the master bath had not been working right forever. It leaked and dripped 24/7 and the knobs were extremely quirky. It was hard to get the temperature right consistently and the pressure always seemed lacking. I went a bought a whole new unit before Robert arrived so that we could have a new shower. Well, Robert looked at it and what I bought and told me it would be miracle if it fit. He was right - it was not compatible. He said if he were to put the new thing in he would have to remove some tiles or go around back into a closet and go through sheet rock. Needless to say either option had started giving me a headache and that sinking feeling of "Oh NO!" But what I liked was he said, "this shower doesn't look too bad - let's take a look. So he took the main mechanism out of the wall, found some corroded parts and replaced them, cleaned things up, reassembled it the right way, and, guess what - the leak was fixed and the shower was now working properly. I told him the pressure was the only problem now. He said no problem and took out the water saver bushing and water came flying out with plenty of pressure. Shower fixed - two up, two down. 3) The most immediate problem was the toilet in the master bath. The handle had been broken by an overzealous house guest who was trying to get it running better and took it upon himself to start bending things until the rod lifting the flapper broke clean off. Like the rest of my plumbing fixtures this was some foreign fancy toilet - I had taken the handle and rod into a plumbing supply place the day before and they told me I needed the toilet part number and needed to start searching the internet. Well, Robert just looked at, left for a trip to the local plumbing supply place he uses, and was back in 30 minutes with a special side mount handle and had it fixed in a matter of minutes. He also showed me the flapper was old and hard and shot and that the main valve mechanism was old and not working properly so I had him replace that as well. So - After 2 1/2 hours Robert had tackled all three of my plumbing problems and fixed them all. I had a shower in one bathroom where all others had failed. I had a properly working shower with good pressure and I could take my purchased shower back where I got it for a refund of $230. And my toilet was now working better then ever and I no longer have to busy my arm in the fill tank to lift the flapper by hand to flush. Robert was extremely knowledgeable and personable, too. I appreciate his honesty in assessing my situation and trying to fix things without sending me on wild goose chases for things I didn't need. I highly recommend Sunshine Plumbing based on this experience and will be using them for future plumbing issues that I hope never arise.

I highly recommend this company. I needed to replace a leaking water filter system under my kitchen sink. They made an appointment for me the next day and the plumber, Matthew arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. He answered all my questions, gave me an explanation of what needed to be done and gave me very good price for his service. I will definitely use this company for future project or plumbing issues.

I am very pleased I became a member of Angie's List. We had our bathroom remodeled by Ralph Sadek from Affordable Home Improvements and things did not go very well. We reached out to Sunshine Plumbing to repair some of the shoddy plumbing work done by Ralph's team. I was very pleased with how quickly the company responded to my needs. I sent a message asking for an estimate and I was told that someone would come to check my bathroom that very same day. However, a couple of hours later I was called and informed that a job was taking longer than expected, so someone would come to my house the next day. I was a bit disappointed but I appreciated the call. The next morning I received a call confirming that a plumber would be arriving at 9:00 am. I was pleased that Robert, the plumber, came a few minutes early. He gave me an estimate and we accepted. Robert warned us that replacing the drain might peel our newly refinished bathtub and he was upfront in telling us that he could not guatantee that it would not happen. You see, all of the plumbing for our bathroom should have been done prior to refinishing the tub but like many other things this was an oversight by the guy who remodeled my bathroom. We appreciated Robert's honesty but we decided to take our chances because we really needed a working bathroom. Robert was professional, friendly, and worked quickly. He installed the new drain and overflow and fixed the shower handle that had been installed incorrectly. In the end, I was charged what was given to me as the estimate minus the 5% discount which Robert reminded I could use. Although we will have to retouch part of our bathtub we were very pleased with Robert's work. If we have any plumbing issues in the future we will certainly call Sunshine Plumbing.

They have super fast response times, always available, and perform solid work. We own 3 homes and they have been extremely helpful in fixing issues with our tenants, and at our home. They are our go-to plumbing service.

Eric provided the necessary information over the phone to allow me to make an informed decision about whether or not I needed plumbing service for my issue. This saved me the cost of a service call to find out I really needed to call someone else (and shell out more money). While not making any money off me on this occasion, this will be the first company I would call the next time I'm in need of a plumber. Thank you!!!

Great Robert was awesome fixed problem, cleaned up was very neat and clean. Directed us to restoration company.

It went well. They arrived when they said they would, and stayed until the job was completed. From about 9 something in the morning to 4:20.

Robert was professional,friendly and did an excellent job.

Because it was a hybrid water heater I wanted it in the garage instead of where the old water heater was in the laundry room. This required running the water lines through the wall in the other direction as well as running a condensation line thru the outer garage wall. Things went great, the installation of the water heater was done without as hitch,the plumber( Matthew) ran the condensation line along the interior wall thus saving storage space in the garage for me. He went over preventive maintenance of the water heater with me. A great experience.

The plumber arrived promptly, even though it was a week-end day, was courteous, professional and efficient, and took care of the problem with no complications.

I called sunshine plumbing to install a new facet on the outside of my house. They installed 45 feet of copper tubbing and tap into an existing faucet on the side of the house. Estimate was free and James was on time and clear. We discussed different alternatives. He completed the work in the time estimated and minimized the amount of time without water.

I own many rental properties in South Florida and have used many different plumbers, but now I have found the best in Broward County. I hired them to remove and old toilet and install a new one, and to install a new bathroom faucet. First, they give free estimates which is a rarity. But most importantly is that the estimate is reasonable and very fair so that you'll hire them on the spot. They were well-dressed, extremely professional, quiet, and did a great job. Then they gave a 5% discount from their coupon on Angie's list. I found them on Angie's list and strongly recommend Sunshine Plumbing.

Plumber arrived at the scheduled time, explained the job, gave and estimate, brought all the necessary tools, completed the job and cleaned up. Overall great experience with this company.

I called around 11:30 on a Monday, I want to say within 30-40 min James was at my home working on the issue. He was polite and helpful. He gave me a breakdown of what the cost would be before he started the work. Once he was done he cleaned up and tested the circuit to make sure the water heater itself wasn't the issue. He helped me trouble shoot the root problem which (in addition to a heating element going bad) turned out to be an issue with my circuit breaker. I asked him for a reference to a local electrician who was also prompt. Overall when I have to totally replace my water heater I will definitely be keeping Sunshine Plumbing in mind.

Sunshine Plumbing called ahead, and showed up on time as scheduled. Both plumbers were pleasant , gave an estimate ahead of time and finished working quickly. They also let me know about the discount coupon available on Angie's List and applied the discount to my bill.

I called, they came, they fixed it! Super nice and professional.

I called them Monday morning. Eric called he could have a g man there within the hour. I deferred to a 2-4 appointment. Eric called bat at 1:55 to tell me Robert was on the way. Plumber arrived, assessed and repaired within two hours. Great job!

This is the third time Robert has been to our house, the first to provide an estimate for repairing/replacing a broken kitchen sink faucet, and the second time to install a new one. He was kind enough to indulge me by setting up two different faucets so I could decide which one looked better. During that visit, he also fixed two other toilets. Periodically they would all make noise and seem to "go on" on their own. It was so odd! Robert explained that either the flappers needed to be changed, or in one case, a previous plumber had left parts in the tank!!. Not surprising in South Florida. Robert, on the other hand, is both professional and personable. He took time to explain the problems he found and what he was doing to repair them, and did a few things, like putting on a new toilet seat, at no extra charge. Excellent customer service. I would absolutely call Sunshine Plumbing again.

They were great! The original plumber that we had hired flaked out & Sunshine Plumbing came to the rescue! They came out the same day we called & did the estimate (which beat the other guy by quite a bit) & got to work the next morning. Mathew & Ted arrived on time & got right to work with a great friendly & professional manner. When they discovered a problem with the drain line that the original builder installed, they didn't gloss over it & cover it up, they brought it to our attention & explained it completely. Thankfully Sunshine Plumbing worked the unforeseen expense out so it didn't cost us an arm & leg - thanks guys! They did a great job & even used higher quality materials than we expected. They are now our plumber for anything & everything!

Jeff arrived soon after Allen called to confirm the appointment time. I explained the problem and Jeff snaked out the line and cleared the clog. He explained the possible cause and offered a solution to prevent another occurrence.

They were awesome. We called them and they came out that day. The water line from the dishwasher was backing up into our sink. They came out and were professional. My work space is next to the kitchen and they were so respectful of the fact that I was working. They were quiet and courteous. They re-routed and got the new garbage disposal in. They fixed everything up and were wonderful. I would use them again.
