We called the service from our home phone at 2:42 pm on Sunday afternoon on January 30th to ask for emergency service. The issue and address information was provided to the company. We said we need to have the roof air pipes snaked. Raw sewage was coming up and out of the shower drains in both bathrooms. We were told it would cost $125 for the tech to come out plus whatever it cost to perform the services needed. We agreed and were told a tech will be there within the hour. Two hours go by and no one showed up. We called again at at 5:25 pm to ask what's going on as it would be dark within a half hour. We were told that the tech could not get a hold of us so he decided not to show up. We called from our house phone at 2:42 pm and stated we have an emergency situation and the tech decides not to drive to our home because he could not get a hold of us. The tech is in the same town that we live in, Davie, FL. Yet the tech could not drive to our our home in the same town of Davie to see what the situation was. We were tending to the emergency issue and we did not hear the cell phone ring. So because we didn't answer the cell phone the tech decided not to drive over to our house (in the same small town of Davie) to provide the service we asked for. The tech finally came to the house at about 5:50 pm to ask what the problem is. He snaked the roof in about 15 minutes time and said that'll be $500. The unnecessary stress caused by this situation was terrible. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this same type of event, be told a tech will be there within the hour and the tech does not show up because no one answered the cell phone. If you have a plumbing emergency, don't call this company.

There was an initial repair then a subsequent leak had developed. Sunshine plumbing sent a repair person on Sunday to fix the issue with no questions asked. They were extremely professional, courteous, and timely in arriving and resolving the issue. I would highly recommend this company to someone looking for plumbing issues in the area.

One of the few companies that offer a free estimate. Fair price. Carmen works very well and smoothly with clients. Answers all questions. Richard was very profesional, explained the job, and completed everything as promised. They didn’t finish. One worker was so rude the other plumber had to apologize for him. Said they’d come back to finish the job but haven’t come back. Initial visit was 1/29/2021

The ad said leak detection, and they were local. The plumber looked at the water meter, (which only measures gallons. Plumber said the roof was at fault. Ridiculous, as the water was coming up thru the .He charged $175 instead of $225..................for nothing !

Perfect! Free Estimates!! Company came out on time and called me first about 30 mins before arriving. Technician was smart and knowledgeable, and very polite. He gave me a fair price and fixed it. I will definitely use this company agin if I have pluming issues.

I realized my yard was flooding from a water main break, called City of Sunrise to come out but it was on my side of the meter--so my problem. Called Sunshine at 7:00 PM, Richard was there by 7:30. It was a brutally hot evening, rainy and very buggy. The poor guy had to work in the mud, digging through buried rocks and concrete, and cutting tree roots in the dark to get to the broken pipe. He was there from 7:30 till 11:00 that night and the work was so brutal I suggested he just give up for the night and come back the next day--which would have left us with no water. He said "this thing is not gonna beat me," he stuck it out and finished at 11:00. He did a great job (I would have given up). Huge thanks to Richard from Sunshine Plumbing! Incredible! The technician arrived exactly on time to inspect the leak; came back a few days later, chiseled out the wall, and replaced the leaking pipe. Because the leak had caused mold under the cabinet, he called a mold mitigation company, and they arrived within half an hour and set up equipment to dry the area and eliminate the mold. The plumber will return in a couple of days to repair the huge hole in the wall.

Great service! First of all the lady that received my call was very polite and efficient. She had someone to my house very promptly. Robert the plumber came and diagnosed the problem promptly. Once he could see the what he was working with he gave me few options for solutions and we went with a plan to fix it. He was even able to recommend someone to fix my exterior wall of the house that needed to be opened to reach the old drainage pipe. Overall I have to say they were great to work with and price was very fair.

Great. I requested an estimate to re-pipe the house due to the fact that I had been told by an inspector that the piping in the house was polybutylene and had to be replaced. Robert came over and found that there was no polybutylene piping in the house. He gave an estimate anyway, but told me the piping in the house was fine and did not need to be replaced. Being ignorant of these things, I truly appreciate the honesty of Robert. I will definitely use this company if/when I need plumbing services in the future. I recommend this plumbing company whole-heartedly. Honesty and integrity! The best I have ever experienced.

We got a nasty surprise one morning when all of the toilets in the house would not flush properly and there was water coming up into the shower. I called Sunshine and they had Greg on-site within 2 hours. Greg was very friendly, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem right away. It turned out resolving it was a bit more complicated because the stoppage was way out where our main line connected to the city sewer, still fixed right away.

The representative from Sunshine plumbers, Greg was excellent. Although my issue wasn’t an emergency and could have been delayed, Greg’s honesty and genuineness were the reason I proceeded with the work. As a result, I strongly recommend Sunshine Plumbing and I will most definitely call them for any future plumbing issue. And, I will 100% ask for Greg.

We own a 1970's-era home that's been through several renovations prior to us buying it just under a year ago. We've discovered that the previous owners cut corners with installations that have led to small issues. One of our shower heads in the master bath wasn't getting hot water and we were getting a weird sewage smell in the bathroom. We had presented our issues to other plumbers, who all pitched us complicated and expensive fixes. Richard investigated our two complaints, figured out what was wrong quickly and fixed it. What were initially small issues turned out to be more complicated fixes because of the way things were previously installed in our bathroom but Richard went above and beyond to make sure our problem was fixed. He is a professional and smart man and we will continue to use him for future projects.

Very well. Greg is a plumber who went above and beyond the call of duty. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He even went to Home Depot for me when he discovered there were 2 parts missing from the box. People like him are hard to come by, especially in South Florida. If you need a plumber, ask for Greg every time.

Everything went well. This required manual digging to get to issue. They worked through lunch to get job done as quickly as possible.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A TRULY GREAT PLUMBER! Zack and Rob were very nice and got right to work. Zack going on a "gut feeling" found the problem, fixed it and saved me tons of money for running a snake, etc.... all things others had felt was necessary to just find the problem. Zack's instincts were right on and he found it and fixed it in no time. Nice and friendly and helpful and I am so pleased. Both Zack and Rob work great together and were here just a short time. I will call them again and both my son and I will be spreading the word because it's truly difficult to find a trustworthy plumber these days who won't charge you a ridiculous amount of money. They were very reasonable in price!!! Very knowledgeable! Very nice! and most important - they found the problem without running this and doing that. That is what hiring an experienced plumber will provide, peace of mind in knowing they will find and fix the problem timely and for a reasonable price. Also, they were friendly and cleaned up everything nicely. If you don't hire them, you are the looser!!!

Robert, the plumber/technician was extremely professional. He was careful to limit the stucco removal to only that needed to replace the valve. He took time and did not rush the work. He welcomed me watching him work and answered all my questions regarding my general interest in plumbing techniques. He was patient and easy to talk to. Believe me, Ive had some bad experiences with plumbing companies. This company was excellent from start to finish. I will always use them for all my plumbing needs.

Sent an explicit request for "tankless GAS water heater" in Oakland Park. Was called and told that it is out of their area and could not do the job. I questioned that since we are close by. They called back and said they confused name of the location and it was fine. We made an appointment for a few days later between 10am-12noon. At 1140 received a phone call that they were running late. I stayed home for this and said I would wait. Received another call telling me the cost would be approx $550. All other estimates were at least 3x higher for the labor. I told them they needed to see the job. Was then asked if I had gotten an electrician. I told her I didn't need an electrician, this was a gas heater not electric. She called me back and told me they do not do "gas" installations. My search on Angies List was for a GAS installation, and my initial note to them stated GAS. A big waste of my time. Totally unprofessional. They may be rated well for fixing a leaky sink, but not for anything more, at least from my experience.

Absolutely superlative, Greg was professional, friendly, courteous, So glad we chose to Use Angie's List for this work. Can't take any credit for that, Janet was the one who researched it and gave me the listing for Sunshine. Called them rather late because the water heater was suddenly plugged up and they fit us into their schedule within a day . If or when we ever need any further plumbing work done, repairs or installation, Sunshine Plumbing of South Florida will be the only one we contact, period. Greg did the work in much less time than i anticipated, cleaned up everything when done, In my opinion. This company is the definition of what customer service should be but so rarely is anymore. I can't recall the last time I had work done on our home that I was this pleased with the job
