I called and told them the problem and that I'd heard about them from Angie's list, and they had a representative out here within two hours. Fred said they like to keep us list members happy, and he meant it. He saw the inside water damage and described what needed to be done and wrote up an estimate. There was no down payment, total due at the end of the job. The repairman Don and his assistant arrived at 7:30 about a week later and worked through the day. At the end of the job he pulled out a digital camera and showed me pictures of what the exact problem was and each step they went through to fix the roof. A nice idea, as I had no way to see what they were doing up there. Don said he'd also found some potential problems similar to the loose nails that had caused the main leak and took measures to fix those as well. A very good job, and everyone I had contact with seemed very pleasant and interested in doing their best.

The Company quoted $1,695.00 to repair an area of the roof as large as 1 or 2 short rows of tiles depending upon how much was needed. Initially, we were disappointed in the work as the roof continued to leak. However once the owner became aware of our dissatisfaction he made a personal visit to our door and sent out a crew to resolve our issues. Follow up visits were done at no additional charge and that included the repair of a different section of the roof. What more can you ask for? The company is serious about customer satisfaction. Should the roof continue to leak, I feel confident that we can work with the company. I would recommend them to family and friends. UPDATE 11-17-2010. Unfortunately the roof still leaks. Based on the number of roofers who have attempted this fix, I do not blame Paul Bange for this. It is just a very difficult leak to track down. But once again, Paul Bange sent a crew to my house and expanded the repair area, above and beyond our expectations, at no additional charge. I can't say enough about this company's dedication to total customer satisfaction. They have stood behind every promise, and at this point I doubt there is any profit in the job. They just want to make it right for the customer. Fantastic company.

The repair was done about 10 days after I accepted the quote. They also installed a gutter extension that I had purchased elsewhere for no additional charge.The repair came with a 1 year guarantee. I did not have to put any money down and only had to pay for the work after the job was completed. The representative, Dean, called several days after the repair to see if all was well and at that time I paid for the repair.

I had hired two people to fix the same leak with no success. I called Paul Bange to come out for an estimate. They came within 48 hours, and then I set an appointment with them for the following week to come fix the leak. It has rained every day since the repair, and finally I have no leak thanks to them.

The replacements they had matched perfectly and they did an excellent job.

My overall experience with Paul Bange Roofing was very positive. I decided to hire them after reading the reviews on Angie's List and at my neighbor's recommendation. Paul Bange put a new roof on my neighbor's home and she was very satisfied with their work. They were very professional from start to finish. My roof leak was an emergency situation as the roof was leaking profusely in the kitchen. They were able to provide an estimate the same day that I called and were very accommodating with my work schedule. The estimate was very thorough compared to the other company that I received an estimate from. Dean provided the estimate. He was punctual and took pictures in the attic. He also carefully explained the extent of the leak as well as what the repair would entail. Their work was under warranty for one year, which was also a major deciding factor for me. The other company that provided me with an estimate only gave a six month warranty. They performed the work three days after the estimate. The roofers who completed the work were punctual and also carefully explained the repair to me. It has rained since the repair and so far my roof has not leaked. I also appreciated the fact that they did not try to sell me a new roof even though my roof is very old, but instead did a thorough job with the repair. The cost of the work was slightly higher than the other estimate I received, but I felt it was worth it.

We contacted various vendors from the local area. Ended us using those vendors listed on this website. Paul Bange gave us the lowest estimate from a large well-known company. Dean Magliocca gaves us the estimate the day after I called their office. Great service and very personable. Signed the contract in mid-January. Work started in early February after permits were completed. Old shingles came off in one day, and very thourogh clean up. Bad wood (and a lot of bad wood) was replaced. Work went very quickly, even with the slow Pembroke Pines code inspector. Once again, very thourough clean up. We had a very serious thunderstorm the day after the work was completed. We had one small leak. They were out the next day and fixed it. We had another severe thunderstorm two days later that confirmed they fixed the leak. Estimate was about 13,000.00, final cost was about 16,000.00. We replaced a lot of wood. And final price was still less than some initial estimates. Very satisfied, and would recommend Paul Bange to anyone.

Had a roof leak and called several companies to get quotes. Paul Bange was the first to get here and did a great job of evaluating the problem and giving me several different options to choose from. Was able to choose one that didn't cost me any money right now. Definitely recommend checking with these guys if you need roof work.

Overall all my experience working with Dean at Paul Bange roofing was positive. Dean was very professional and of all the roofing companies I had over to provide an estimate, he was the only one who noted that my skylight needed to be replaced. Dean also was willing to bring me up to the roof to show me exactly why my skylight needed to be replaced and what the work would entail. Alll in all a overall great experience.

We rate Paul Bange Roofing A+. Paul Bange Roofing took care of all materials, permits, etc. All workers were fast and very efficient from removing the old roof, replacing rotted wood with new, along with air tight sheathing and tar mopping. Once the tiles were delivered another truck a few hours later arrived to place the tiles on the roof. Everything was very organized and the workers were never idle. We are very satisfied to deal with a very honest company and would recommened them to anyone needing a new roof. The Heider's P.S. we have a photo and would love to submit it.

Originally after completed saw a continued leak at same place, which was right at the place the gutter seam attaches to the facia,and draining down to the soffit, which had caused the soffit rot over time. They came out again & caulked the gutter seam which partially decreased the amount leaking there. Provided pictures of the rotten beam under shingles when I questioned if that was actually where the leak was coming from.Overall were very professional,very eager to assure my satisfaction and followed up without delay with my calls. Very reputable company.When I need the whole roof redone, I'll definitely call them to do it, even though they may have been a little more costly than expected.

They did not perform any work for me as I hired someone else.

I CALLED PAUL BANGE ROOFING ON A MONDAY AND MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR AN ESTIMATE ON THAT FRIDAY. FRED SHOWED UP ON TIME. HE ASKED ME HOW I GOT THEIR NAME, I TOLD HIM FROM ANGIE'S LIST. FRED WENT UP ON THE ROOF AND WHEN HE CAME BACK HE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL, WITH PICTURES, WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST. THEY CAME 10 DAYS LATER AND DID THE REPAIR. THERE WAS NO UPFRONT COST. PAYMENT WAS DUE AFTER COMPLETION.

He did a goo djob. It leaked, but it was the fault of another roofer.

I had received 3 different estimates; 2 of the companies said that I had to replace the whole roof but they said that I didn?t have to do that. They just did a really great job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do for how much they said. They came and finished on time, and were very helpful. Their price was great compared to other companies and the quality of work was perfect. They were actually out within a day from when I called them. The workmanship is a little lackluster sometimes down here in South Florida but their workmanship was great; I was actually surprised by that. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

The guy who came out got onto the roof and looked around. He seemed to be very honest and he did not try to tell me that I needed to have the whole roof replaced. He did tell me that the repair would be very obvious from the street, because they would not be able to match the shingles. The estimate landed at exactly two thousand dollars. They wrote me up a written estimate and told me that there was a guarantee on the repair for one year.

We had trouble with our roof and it rained inside of our house. The part of the roof we had trouble with had work done by a man that worked for this company a few years prior. We had damage in three rooms to walls, ceiling, and cupboards from the water that was getting in. This man that did the work was not with the company anymore and it seems he did some shady work. He never handed in our contract to the company or got a permit, but after we showed them our contract with the company name and how we paid cash, they honored it. This company sent out someone to look at the roof. After we discussed what the the issue was, the company honored the contract, got a permit this time, and replaced the flat roof. This time it was done correctly. This company has a good reputation, and does good work. We also decided to get a new peak roof since they were replacing the flat roof. They sent a group of workers when the work began and the roof was completed in a timely manner and looks great. At the end they sent one of the workers to the house to have us sign a sheet pertaining to the new wood. Their was no price on it, just measurements and the cost of each linear ft. Before we signed it, which we didn't, we figured out the extra costs, which were too high. My husband went to the company about the cost, and they figured it out and it ended up ok. Make sure you never sign anything unless you are clear about what it will be.

The salesperson was very accommodating to my schedule when setting up the appointment to look at my roof. He was very knowledgeable and gave a detailed price estimate. Since the price was about $1,000 less than a price I received from another roofer and the excellent rating from Angie's List, I decided to sign the estimate on the spot. The work took approx. two weeks to schedule. The first day of work they replaced the rotten plywood and planks and put down the tar paper. It was done very quickly and appeared to be professional. They cleaned up after themselves. Then due to two weeks of intermittent rain finishing the job was put off. However, when they returned the work was completed the same day. Inspections were completed and they sent someone to collect payment. I especially liked the fact that they did not require any money up front. To me this said they were confident in there services and knew there would be no disputes. I was comfortable with the expertise and professionalism of each company representative that I met. The final price was exactly as quoted.

The worked seemed fine at the time, but it began to leak within months of their repair. The new leak sprang up adjacent to their repair. Their repair area should have been larger to prevent this from happening.

Everything was good. They did what they said they would do, and I was happy with their work.

The work was in 2006. Mr. Bange personally resolved this issues, that I had prior, to my satisfaction. This issue turned out to be one big misunderstanding. Mr. Bange was very kind and personable. His company does have a long standing reputation. My home is my castle and I treat it with respect everyday, I can assure you that Mr. Bange will treat you with respect. We are women that live in my home and have no understanding on repairs that are done to a home that is why trust and honesty are very important to us. Mr. Bange has successfully demonstrated to us that he is very honest and trustworthy. Ladies and men, as well, I strongly recommend Paul Bange Roofing for any work on your roof because he is caring, dependable and will do a top notch job as he stands by his work and his word. Paul Bange provides A+ workmanship and deserves your support.

They were great. They were very nice, but the estimate was higher than the other company. The other company was also well established and their estimate came in lower so we went with them. Paul Bange was right there, they came in and they were clean and neat. I had no problems with them at all and we would consider them in the future.

The work turned out well. However, they took a tile to compare styles, and they never returned it despite two phone calls. It ended up broken, and he offered to replace it but never did. That was my only spare tile, and I was unhappy with them because of the poor customer service.

This was the only roofing company that would take the job! I guess because of where the leak was it made it difficult to work on. Regardless they were on time (which is a pet peeve I have) and finished the work faster than they originally stated. Thank You Angie's List I have found a reliable roofer that I can recommend should anyone I know be in need.

Roof started leaking four days in advance of hurricane Hanna getting here (it missed us but we didn't know it would). Knew that all the roofers would be hustling trying to get jobs done before the storm. Called another roofing company (from Angie's List) right away. They took all our information and said someone would call us back to set up an appointment for an estimate. Waited two days and no call. Then we called Paul Bange Roofing. We actually called them on a Sunday. I figured that I would just leave word and they would get back to me on Monday. Not only was someone (a real person) there on Sunday but Paul Bange himself and the guy who would actually be doing the job, Bobby, came out to do the estimate that same day (it was actually within a couple of hours). They took both measurements and pictures and gave us the estimate right then. Bobby came and started work the next day! Here's a funny thing - as Bobby and his assistant were pulling up to start the job - someone from the first roofing company called to set up an appointment to give us an estimate. I just laughed. Bobby and his assistant worked nonstop all day. And I mean nonstop. They completed the job that evening. Now if you have lived in Florida for any length of time you know how impressive this entire experience was for us! Professional, honest, on time, values customer loyalty, I can't find enough adjectives to describe how positive this experience was for us.
