I called Hillman after seeing an ad on Angie's list. Anthony came out, on time to estimate and set appointment. Virginia called me to confirm and Jimmy did the change out with no problems or issues in a timely manner.

Kevin Walker arrived on time & did a great job fixing everything. Kevin is very professional & polite. We will definitely request Kevin in our future plumbing needs.

They did a great job. All of the guys worked very hard. I called Hillman on Monday morning and they had someone come out on Tuesday to do the evaluation. They had all of the plumbing work done by Friday and Alex did an excellent job. The price above does not include the plastering of the walls as I did that myself.

Their service was good. I asked for a quote for other plumbing issues and the quote was very high. They did a good job with the work that they did. I would only use them if their price was good in the future.

The service has been very good. I tried several other companies before trying Angie's List and I had no success. I have had really good success with this company. They are all nice, friendly, and they all are very hard workers. They do the work on an hourly basis.

Whenever they fix things for us they fix it well, but they are expensive. They also are always available as they have a lot of employees.

Terrific. At first I thought the entire wall would have to be guttered, but Kevin devised a way to replace both the value and the shower without disturbing any of the sheet rock.

they did the job but it was very expensive and they used low grade materials, very basic. I would recommend to supply your own materials if you have Joe Hillman's company do the work.

THE PROBLEM IS THIS: WE WERE DIRECTED BY THE CITY OF HOLLYWOOD TO HAVE OUR BACKFLOW METER CHECKED, BUT WE DID NOT KNOW WHAT THAT MEANT OR EVEN IF WE HAD ONE, AS THE BUILDING WAS BUILT IN THE 1970S. IF IT EXISTS, A BACKFLOW METER IS ALMOST ALWAYS LOCATED NEXT TO THE METER. ALLEGEDLY, THE PLUMBER SPENT AN HOUR AND A HALF LOOKING FOR THE BACKFLOW METER, ONLY TO REALIZE THAT WE DID NOT HAVE ONE. WE HAVE TOLD JOE HILLMAN PLUMBERS THAT WE WILL NOT PAY THE BILL. THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED YET. ALSO, THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE TO INSTALL A BACKFLOW METER OF 1400, INCLUDING GETTING THE PERMITTING. WE LOOKED AROUND AND FOUND A PLUMBER WHO WILL BE DOING THIS FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS. FINALLY, THE PLUMBER WHO SERVICED THE TOILETS GAVE US A BILL FOR ONE AMOUNT, BUT THE COMPANY SUBSEQUENTLY SENT US A BILL FOR THAT SAME AMOUNT PLUS SOME ADDITIONAL CHARGES. WE TOLD THEM WE WEREN'T GOING TO PAY THE HIGHER AMOUNT AND THEY DROPPED IT. I THOUGHT THAT WAS UNETHICAL. IN GENERAL, MY EXPERIENCE LEFT ME FEELING LIKE THIS IS A BUSINESS THAT WAS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE FROM ME.

The worked turned out very well. They not only did a great job but they rectified an error that they had made and they replaced everything and paid for everything in full. He is very reputable and he has been in the business for years and years.

Their service is great. They were always on time, professional, and they were very neat with the work. I have no complaints about them.

I have used Hillman at home, at the office and at rental properties. I will always use their service.

I compared the price with one other company and this company charged less for the service. The service was good. They were very quick to respond and they did a clean job.

The service did not turn out well most recently. They called and said it was time to have the check for the plumbing. They changed two flapper valves and they did the work without asking and I told them no thanks, they should not have done the work without asking. I was sold the agreement by a gentleman named Donovan and when I asked them for him to come out they said they would send him. When the people came out Donovan was not with them as he is no longer with the company. They did not charge anything as they said they wanted to keep me happy. I was disappointed that it turned out that way. They have a book that they determine the charges and what he said was the agreement I have entitles to lower prices but not for covering the entire service. I was led to believe the $125.00 they tried to charge was a reduced price and I thought the cost was exorbitant.

The work was performed fine at the time. The drip is back but the work on the bathroom faucets was done well. The work was done professionally and they were neat with the work.

The service did not turn out well. The work was considerably more than I had expected with the cost. The person that came to do the work did not do the work correctly on the first try. The work ended up taking longer than it should have and the employee was very unprofessional. Once the work was completed it was fine but the worker seemed rushed to do the job.

They did the work that they were supposed to. I had the kitchen faucet already here. They charged to come out. They claimed that they didn't have a certain part and had to come out again. It was an additional charge. They were too expensive.

He is very reliable and is easy to deal with. He is super clean and very knowledgeable. He does excellent work and our tenants love him. We would highly recommend him.

I love them and I told them how wonderful they were. I’ve used them three different times for major plumbing work. They are fantastic. They even called me after everything was done to check if I was satisfied and if the technician was great. The technician was really great. They have a book that they go by the prices. So when he cut a hole in the wall, he showed me the book where the cost was given irrespective if it takes half an hour or five hours. The cost remains the same. This is how they work with everything. They are very quick to respond. The people are all very nice. They do excellent work. I’ve used them three separate times for three big problems. They excel in their pricing and their service. I would use their services again in the future.

I had to get the plumbing fixed four times, so much so that they have tried to charge me for the work that they have done the last two times and they have not fixed it. When I first went with them, they had told me that there was a guarantee on the work for the lifetime. Currently, I have limited use of my bathroom. I would like them to come out and fix it. I will not use them again in the future. In December 2011 Joe Hillman plumbing sent out one of their plumbers to fix my shower problems. The experience was excellent. The major issue was a replacement part was needed and was not easily available. There was significant effort needed to get the correct part and Joe Hillman went out of their way to make sure that the issue was fixed in a timely and capable manner. I was told that there was a change in management at Joe Hillman and they are focusing on excellent customer service and their considerable plumbing expertise as the reason to use them for any plumbing problems. I had a much better experience this December and will use them again in the future.

Excellent service. The service man, Matthew, arrived when he was supposed to, on a Sunday, showed me a detailed price list so I knew what he would be charging and went right to work. Replaced the outside faucet and line going into the house at the shut off valve. Checked the line several times and it works perfectly. Very, very satisfied.

Plumber was very polite and gave estimate prior to any work.
