Dave was on time reviewed the work. Gave me a fair price and went right to work. I added work on as he was here. Everything was done cleanly and as I expected. Will use again

They came out and were very polite, punctual and did the work on time. However, I was disappointed in the fact that they didn't remove the service charge when they completed the job. Typically, when you perform the job, the service fee is waived. That is why I gave them a D on the price.

Went great. Took them about 1/2 day to complete. Line works fine. They cleaned up the place, were very careful to remove and replace the grass. This was a hot sunny day and they were digging a trench so compliments to Tony and his partner. I have used them 7 times in the last couple of years and will continue to use them in the future.

Plumber arrived on time. we reviewed what needed done. He reviewed the price with me and got to work. Replacing the tub drain was a pain. One plumber I called did not even want to try it and he was A rated on Angies list. In 30 mins the drain was out, new one in and testing it for leaks. replaced shut off at toilet. Disconnected outside sink. I had him go ahead and set a new toilet I had purchased. Installed it, removed old toilet and grouted the new toilet in place. Overall, good work. Only issue is price as it is a bit high. Also, the $59 service charge should be include in the base price when you spend over a certain amount. I will use them again, but I strongly recommend they review the $59 service charge an possibly drop that when you spend $500 or more.

Our electric water heater had neither been replaced or serviced since before we bought our home in April 1988, so when I saw the Angie's List Big Deal for replacement of a standard water heater for $650, I bought it. They are not supposed to last nearly that long, and I didn't want to risk a water emergency, even in my garage. We took several months until it was practical for us to replace the heater (all of our storm panels were stacked next to it on one side and I also had to remove some shelving that was also in the way) and I scheduled it for last Saturday. Alfred called as he was near his arrival at our house, told me specifically what he was going to do, and then did it. He worked hard and did an excellent job. The draining of the old Rheem unit took a while because of all of the sediment. After he was finished, he waited until the new Rheem unit was producing hot water and we expressed our satisfaction with the job. Alfred was a real pro.

He was very professional and on time and did a good job. We were very happy with him. Was professional and very pleasant to deal with. A brand new water heater installed just as iy went on sale, so timing was great. Highly recommend.

I called the office on 6/16/14 at 5:47PM. Surprisingly a woman answered the phone. I had hoped to leave a message asking to set up an appointment. The woman asked if I wanted someone to come out right away or would the next afternoon would be okay, explaining it would be a different service call rate between the immediate response or waiting until the day. We agreed on a window between 3 and 5 when I remembered we had dental appointments at 1. She immediately suggested between 3 and5 that worked. The next day at 3:25 we received a call from the technician, I'm sorry I don't remember his name, though he introduced himself on the phone and in person. He told me he would be at our place in 20-30 minutes. He arrived in that time frame, quickly diagnosed the problem. He did the work quickly and efficiently, in a professional manner. We were very pleased with the service, professionalism and flexibility of this plumbing company and their technician.

The plumber came on time and changed out the guts fort toilets. They are working well now.

Had a great experience with this vendor. No problems with getting things done and the job was done the right way.

I had a quick response after purchasing online. There was immediate follow up to set up the date and request for pictures to be submitted to determine what i had to replace. There was no hidden charges as everything was upfront for any additional cost not covered by package purchased. The gentleman performing the job called on the day of service to inform me he was on his way. Once here he arrived he was quick efficient and cleaned up quite well. Amongst everything I appreciated how professional and courteous he was in conduct. Overall I am happy with the service and my new water heater. I would not hesitate to rely on Joe Hillman for future service.

The problem began the evening of May 12th, when you would flush toilet the water would seep through underneath toilet on floor and would back up into the tub. It looked like dirt was mixed in with the water, I tried to snake it myself but had no success. I called Joe Hillman plumbers May 13th at 830am, the nice lady who answered my call advised me that the tech would be at my house between 10am-1pm, I was ok with that. At 12:45pm, I received a call stating that they were running a little behind schedule and would be at my location by 130pm. Kevin, the tech arrived about 110pm & immediately went to work, he was awesome!! Very nice, pleasant, answered all my questions with a lot of patience, since I know nothing about plumbing. He showed me roots that were pulled out by the snake & advised me that there was a break in my pipe somewhere along the line. I inquired about camera being used to locate break in line, along with cost, if his company did that kind of work, etc, which I was told yes and to call their office to get more information. I will be contacting them for more information on this next endeavor. Overall, was satisfied with the service I received from this company and would use them again.

Kevin was the technician. He was on time and answered all of my questions. He was very knowledgable and did great work. He cleaned up the area when he was done. Very professional and I would definitely request him for any future work.

My company has been doing business with Joe Hillman plumbers for many years and have done the basic jobs like the described above all the way to major remodles for us. They have always been great at communication and very fair with their pricing structure. I have even used them for my own house on many occasions. There has never been a job that I have given them that they have not been able to fix and in a time appropriate manner.

Quick, efficient and on time.

I found out on the evening of Friday, April 11th that we no longer had hot water! When checking the water heater in it's location there was also a burned smell that caused serious concern. On Saturday afternoon I researched Angie's List and realized that there was a nearby water heater service company. I contacted this company on Sunday and was already impressed by the customer phone service provided. An appointment was made for the next business day (Monday, April 14th). The service mgr was prompt, professional and as well very genuinely honest regarding the service that would be needed as well cost! Thank goodness for being an Angie's List member I happily saved myself a $700.00 difference in cost! The actual service was conducted on the morning of April 15th. To be quite frank! The ultimate deed that impressed me with overall professionalism came from a phone call from the service representative. He was scheduled to be on the premises at 9am however, I received a phone call of an appropriate apology from the gentlemen. Due to the delay of the new water heater tank from the company that was providing it. This has caused a minor delay of his arrival and he wanted to give me a courtesy call informing me of the his whereabouts etc. That in my mind makes a good first impression. Overall, the service rendered was professional. He respected my space, did the job in a timely manner, and left my home 100% cleaned up. Would I use this company in the future, most definitely! I will definitely recommend them as well.

The install stall went well. The installer was an hour late arriving but he did call at 10:30 am and said he should arrive in 30-60 minutes. He arrived 90 minutes after the call. It took about 3 hours to complete the install which was longer than I expected, but the installer said it took a long time to drain the old water heater (seemed like a logical explanation since the water heater was over 15 years old). In the end, I was happy with the finished product and the hot water was flowing afterwards.

My husband totally dealt with that project but it went fine. We had no problems with the service and they did not charge us anything in addition to the price of the deal. They came out shortly after we purchased the deal to do the work. They were honest, prompt and they did a good job.

Alfred Valdes arrived around 9:30 a.m., as scheduled. When I made the appointment I specified we needed a 30 gallon hot water heater. He arrived with a 40 gallon tank. Realizing immediately that it was the wrong size, he called the office to arrange for an exchange. Alfred was apologetic, and acknowledged that the responsibility for the miscommunication was not mine. He checked the existing tank and noticed the valve was broken, and the cost to replace it would be an additional $75.00. He left to exchange the tank and returned over an hour later with the smaller unit, new adapters, copper pipes and a brass ball valve. He removed the old unit, installed the new one, and before he started welding the copper pipes he asked my husband to remove the A/C filter to prevent any possibility of it catching fire. He completed the job around 2:00 p.m. Alfred was highly professional, polite, and performed excellent work.

I just moved in Saturday and realized my water was not getting hot after hours of turning on water heater breaker. I immediately contacted Joe Hillman Plumers the following day requesting for service (SUN). Since everything is usually closed on Sundays (parts stores) and I was not quite sure what was the problem I told them to come Monday. When technician, Alfred showed up he went into business! He told me that the thermostats had to be replaced! Thank god it was not the water heater! He gave me price and I went for it. He was courteous and polite. He replaced it right away with no issues. Outstanding service! Will def use again! I now have hot water!

I had a leak in my water line from the meter to the house. They promptly came out, agreed there was a leak, gave me an estimate, asked for 50% down, and scheduled the work to start in 2 days. They came, ran the new line, showed me the actually broken part of the old line. They had to dig a trench through the yard but were very careful to dig up the grass so it can be put back. They watered everything to keep the grass alive and cleaned up. My fifth time using them. I have read other reviews saying they are pricey. I do not know about that. All I can say is maybe good quality service costs a little more. I will continue to use them in the future and recommend them.

He came in and did the water heater. In fact I had given him the wrong information, he came in, realized he had the wrong size, went back out, came back that same day, it was late in the day, did it, cleaned up and took the old one away. It works beautifully.

They were great and the service went fine. I paid the advertised price on Angie's List which was $650 and then I paid an additional $150 because we had a bigger model. They kept their promises. They were prompt for their appointments and they did the installation job. Their pricing was also excellent. It was all good. They were all very professional and they did the job.
