Terrific! Great job! He showed up when scheduled, removed all the old nasty caulk, prepped, and re-caulked. He even took care of the problem area where the tub does not meet the floor perfectly. Cleaned up the mess before he left too! Well Done!

First of all, I had to reschedule the appointment and Mike was very cooperative. Brian came to do the work. He called to let me know he'd be arriving in about 15 minutes. He even took his wet shoes off when he came in--something I wouldn't have asked him to do. He carefully inspected the existing grout to check for cracks. He was friendly, professional, thorough, and left no mess behind. I would definitely recommend Designing Renovations and would use their services again without hesitation.

He was very nice, but difficult when it came to working with my insurance company. The insurance company that I am working with gave me a dollar amount and wanted me to stay within. He said he put in the invoice with the insurance company, but I contacted them and they said they never received an itemized receipt. The insurance company did not want to start work without that itemized receipt. Also charged for wood remediation (drying out of the wood) but it wouldn't be necessary because the wood is already dried out.

They charged me an additional $8 for caulk. They were prompt, professional and easy to deal with. I would use them if I had another job for them. They did what they said they would do. The grout was on ceramic tile and the caulk was on the kitchen counter tops.

I had oddly damaged caulk and grout (which should have been caulk and had cracked all over.) The man who came took out the old caulk around the kitchen sink and a bathtub and put in new caulk. He also caulked around the edge of a bathroom floor that had never been caulked. His work was neat and wll done. He came on time and was pleasant. My only complaint is that I bought an Angie's List deal but the job took 2 hours longer than I had originally paid for. I'm not really sure that this job should have taken 4 hours. But maybe that time was needed.

First we called to make sure they serviced the area. We asked if they would be able to do caulking around windows rather than around the tub and in the bathroom. They agreed. My son is living in the house and says that they did a great job. He is warmer than he's been in months because there is no air leaking through the windows. I have been to the house since the job was completed and it looks beautiful. My husband was there when the work was being done and said that the tech from Designing Renovations was very efficient and did everything he was asked while he was there.

Brian from Designing Renovations did a very nice job with caulking and cleaning the grout in one of my bathrooms. I am pleased with the result recommend this company for this type of work.

Squirrel had chewed through 3 wooden slats of a second story attic vent. Mike responded promptly to my initial inquiry and was able to schedule the work within 48 hours. Brian arrived on time and completed the work quickly using materials I had on hand. Very pleased with the outcome and will use them again for a few other things on my To Do list.

I responded to a special offer and had it scheduled in 2013, well it snowed and I cancelled them. I forgot about it for about a year then called Mike and it was like no time had passed. We got a date set and his man showed up and the morning and did a great job, some spots I would not even have to paint it looks like the wall was never open. Very willing to work with you and do a great job.

It was about 50-50. They sent out two men for four hours instead of one man for eight hours, and that would have been fine except that the one man didn't know what he was doing and needed a helper. In the end, we didn't get all the projects done. The one person who came first was slow and diligent. He was more like the helper. There are more things that he did that I can't remember. The work looks nice but we were disappointed because they came later than we had anticipated and they didn't finish up all the work. We didn't spend more than the price on the big deal purchase but since we didn't get all the work done, we might have to pay more. I would use them again only if they send someone who can do all the work.

It didn’t go so well. They gave me an estimate. The guys came out and basically didn’t get any of the work done that they said they could get done. There were no additional charges. They couldn’t get the beadboard to stick. I had to redo the patch job that they did on my ceiling. They were on time.

I'm a bit clueless when it comes to home maintenance so the 2 hours were very professional and educational. I bought an Angie's deal over a year ago which they still honored. Had several things taken care of around the house that had been put off for years :) Would highly recommend them to get things off of the "TO DO" list.

Went fine. They removed old grout and replaced with new. Tub was also re-caulked. A better job than others have previously done. Owner was very friendly and responsive.

They did a wonderful job, but it did not solve the problem we were having, as it turned out to be another issue entirely.

They came out very quickly. He was going to do one bathroom and ended up doing two. There were additional charges as they were doing the caulking/grout restoration work in both bathrooms. There was one problem in that they used toilet water instead of water in a bucket for the grout/caulking work in one of the bathrooms and the next day I noticed there was grouting and/or caulking material in the toilet which needed to be scraped away.

I need some to help me with various small projects that I used to do but unable to do due to due to my age..

Went well and smooth. Had 2 workers that came in and did a little framing then some drywall install. They went over the time a couple hrs and I was able just to sent the owner the addition very easily. I would use them again if needed in the near future.

The first time they came out the owner came out and fixed shelving and siding. I was please with the service so had the company come out to install a storm door and screening on a door. When they came the second time the owner did not come out but sent other employees. Though I was pleased with the storm door, it took way longer than I expected and seemed reasonable, and therefore cost a lot more than it should have. Also, the screen installation was not done very well.

The providers arrived on time. They worked 4 full days and only broke to eat lunch mid day. The brick work in the basement took 3 days. The brick mason that did the work did an amazing job! Once the brick work was done, the final day was spent doing the remaining tasks of the project. This company does everything. Everyone was very nice. They did an outstanding job!

He had to reschedule the appointment once after I had already planned for him to come on 6/14. He said he would be out on Father’s Day instead, which I told him he should stay home with his family, but we were able to reschedule for 6/29. He had all A’s online, but when he came here, the job I wanted him to do was install IKEA bookshelves. The back of the bookshelf had to be cut out and laid up against the molding. He didn’t want to do that, and just wanted to lean it against the wall. When I told him he needed to cut the back out, he was disappointed he had to do. He did eventually do it, but it wasn’t a great job, but he did anchor them together so they wouldn’t lean or fall. The curtain rods were fine. The wood pile was moved just fine. He couldn’t fix the light that broke out back but did replace some bulbs. He installed a window screen.
