The handyman was very nice and professional. I had no problems scheduling the appointment. He arrived on time and went right to work. He fixed the fridge door. He was unable to fix the dishwasher because it needed a new part, but he showed me what needed done. He also installed the ceiling fans. I have no complaints and would definitely use him again.

It went really well. He set out to do everything I asked and it was all finished.

Everything went fine. Hard working team who showed initiative and flexibility.

My tenants said it was okay. All the work was fine. He showed up and did job.

Our house was built in 1894, so the wood was not standard stock. O ne of the two workers left to custom-cut a piece of wood to fit, while his partner removed the old, damaged wood. They replaced the wood and re-hung the door; it's now better than it was when we bought the house in 2007.

Old vertical blinds and associated hardware was removed from several windows, new curtain rods were installed. A large framed print was measured and hung above the fireplace. All was done well and the provider was punctual and curteous.

At first, Mike L. was very responsive; he returned phone messages right away and arrived at my home on time. He is, however, very busy--scheduling estimates for about a month out due to the popularity of the Big Deal on angieslist, then the actual work date for another month out.. My schedule is equally busy due to my out of town work commitments, so waiting a month was OK with me. Two days prior to the work date, I called Mike to confirm that I was still on his calendar. The morning of the work, Mike called me and asked me to reschedule because he was behind in another job, I said no, I could not reschedule. He then rearranged things and sent Mike M. and Mark over to my house. It took them all day to do the job and did not finish everything because Mike M. was in a hurry to get to another appointment at 5:15 pm. Mike M. did not have the correct drill bit with him to cut the lock cylinder for the new basement door and he told me he would come back on Saturday to finish, he gave me his phone number. Additionally, Mark installed the door handle on the front storm door backwards so Mike M. said he would take a look at that to correct. On Saturday, he did not return my phone message until 4:30 pm to say he was not coming because he was "too tired" from working so late on Friday finishing another job for Mike L. He then told me he would come back anytime I wanted, which was the following Saturday. When I did not hear from him all week, I called him Saturday morning. His reply was that he was not coming because I had to make those arrangements with Mike L. If that were the case, why wouldn't I have been told that initially instead of leaving me thinking he was coming as we agreed upon? I then immediately called Mike L. to convey the conversation. His last words to me were that because Mike M. told me he would come back to what he couldn't do at the time because he said he didn't have the proper tool, and at no charge, then "that was on him." Well, because Mike M. works for Mike L., it is, in fact, Mike L.'s responsibility to make sure the work is completed in a satisfactory manner. It has been 3 weeks since the workers were here and 2 weeks since there has been no follow up from Mike L. I have since hired someone else to come drill the cylinder hole so I could add the lock to my basement door and remove and reinstall the handle on the front storm door that was installed backward and left that way, even though I pointed in out to Mike M. and Mark while they were here. Yes, I paid for 8 hours of work, but I would have gladly paid for 9 hours to have everything completed correctly had they not been in a rush to leave. I felt this was a very unprofessional way to leave a client and I would not use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

I set up a time for him to come this Sunday.When I called back they said he was on a cruise.

Mike called to scheduled the appointment within 24 hours of our first call. He came out on Saturday and arrived promptly after calling to let let us know he was on his way. He was professional and honest. He could have gone through the motions for the $225, but he did not.

He arrived on time, and called before he came to make sure he didn't need to pick up anything. The job went very well, and I was very satisfied.

The test was only 5 minutes per location, which is less than the 10 minutes of the other two inspectors we used. The results he gave were 50-100 times what the other two inspectors found. These results are from the AMA Analytical Services laboratory and not from Designing Renovations, so I would recommend they change laboratories. I also didn't put as low a rating because this company depends on the quality of the laboratory.

It went well. He was fast, and efficient, and finished in less than the time allotted for the coupon.

It turned out very well. This is the first time I am using them. He was very polite, very friendly, very punctual. I would use them again in the future.

The workman were fine. The only complaint as to the workmen was that I had to point out to them areas that they missed when doing the caulking.When this was shown to them, they graciously completed the work. One major complaint was that the workman's machine for bending metal wrapping was broken. The owner explained that since this was a specialty item, I would need to pay an extra $35 to rent a replacement machine. I agreed because I wanted to get the job done due to problems getting this work performed due to previous weather related issues. It's totally unprofessional to charge a customer for rental of equipment, when from the beginning there was no equipment required to be paid for by me. In other words, I had to pay extra because the contractor failed to maintain its equipment. Also, it appeared as though I was moved to the back of the bus in terms of scheduling because this was an Angie's list big deal. This wasn't a big problem because this wasn't a rush job. As with most contractors, you need to check their work, or they will leave work incomplete or incorrectly done.

He was excellent. He arrived on time and did everything he was suppose to do. He didn't spend the full 2 hours so he came back and did some more things to compensate.

Mike came out and performed all of the items I had on my list. I would recommend that you have a set list of what you would like done, send him pictures ahead of time, and make sure that you have all of the materials that you need. I felt that I wasted a lot of time waiting for my wife to run to the store to get supplies that I needed. Have a backup list of other things that he can do in case you need to run out for a part or something doesn't work out the way you wanted it to.

He was at lunch when I called and said that he had a full plate (not lunch) but would call me back. he called me and showed within an hour. Two hours later I was a happy owner.

Mike is a fast-working wizard! If I had known how astonishingly fast & expertly he could get all these things done, I'd have had even more tasks for him on my to-do list! (Assuming I could even have figured out HOW to do the ones he whipped through in the allotted two hours, they would have taken me all day.) I will definitely need & use him again. Mike works all day on bigger jobs and does his handyman gigs in the evenings (5:30-7:30 in my case). This job was an Angie's List Big Deal, and because of that Deal he has been booked solid recently. He called me back immediately after I left an my initial message for him, and we scheduled the work date for the first opening he had -- several weeks later. Don't worry you have to get in line for a work date -- his work is worth it!

It went extremely well. Mike knows what he is doing and worked very quickly so as not to inflate his hourly rate. We have already booked him again for some additional items that need to be done around the house. Great job!

Mike was extremely prompt and professional, arriving about a half hour ahead of schedule. He immediately removed his shoes upon entering our home, which very few other contractors have done. He was pleasant, courteous, and performed the necessary job. He even brought the old A/C downstairs and put it on the porch so that I can schedule a bulk trash pickup. We were very happy with his services.

We exchanged several emails before he arrived. He was very professional and efficient in fixing the problems. I will definitely contact Michael again for the future handyman service.

I personally would not hire someone who is consistently undependable from the get go. Red flags.

I was fortunate with an open timetable and Michael's appointment for a Saturday worked perfectly as he was able to complete hanging two interior doors within the allotted time. Both doors were irregular fits (not square or level on top, bottom or sides), as Michael possessed the knowledge and patience to accomplish the task.

Michael was really good. I just recommended him to someone. He finished within the two hour time on the big deal. He told me that he was very busy because he had such a huge response and he told me that he would come after the holidays which he did. He was very good, I liked him a lot.

There were no problems scheduling, and we had good customer service. It went well overall. The proprietor was knowledgeable, engaged, and energetic.
