On time exactly, follow up by Kristen & Danny was outstanding. Came back at night to view work & make adjustments. Professional & courteous & quality work.

Danny came on time. Walked through the house with me and addressed my concerns. He checked the main electrical box and found that the main wire coming into the house was loose. Could cause a fire. Breakers in master bedroom tripping as they were connected to outside electrical plug and when it rained hard the breaker tripped because of water in the outside plug. He replaced the outside plate cover with a waterproof cover. He repaired an outlet in master bedroom that had been wired wrong by a handyman, causing an outside light to malfunction. He also repaired an outlet in the kitchen that had been wired wrong and wasn't working. He recapped everything he did and I learned where and what breakers and lights were connected to what circuit breakers. I would definitely call Danny again!

Danny came out at the exact time that was scheduled which was a great thing. I'm also in the services industry and know how important it is to be on time and that that is a huge reason to come back to someone. He was very proffesional and answered all my questions even about something else totally different. The price was very reasonable and totally worth every penny I spent. I had called D. Barnes Electric for a second opinion and to give me an estimate on some electrical work that needed to be done. I already had an estimate from a company that had come out on an Angie's List Big Deal, changing some light bulbs and giving me a free electrical inspection. This other company found some legitimate electrical issues, but it appeared that the prices were way out of line. I wanted another opinion and estimate, and called B. Barnes. My main concern was some bubbling of a wire and darkened lug nut in my electrical panel box. I had been told by this other company that I would need to replace the entire electrical panel box, which was a very big expense. Danny explained that it may not be necessary to replace the entire panel box. If he could loosen the darkened, old lug nut, he'd be able to clean it up and replace the burnt wires, and since the panel box was in good condition, there would be no reason to replace it. If he couldn't loosen the lug nut, then the entire panel would have to be replaced. Danny said it was worth a try. Fortunately, he was able to do it, saving me a very big expense. I feel that Danny is very honest and very competent, and I'm glad that I now have an electrician that I can trust. I already have scheduled another appointment for some additional work to be done.

The work was done knowledgeably and attention to detail at a price that was very reasonable by comparison, even securing necessary permits. Attention to the client courtesy and response time were phenomenal.

When I called for an appt, he was very helpful. D. Barnes arrived on time and was very knowledgeable as to my situation. I agreed with his suggestions and was happy with his work.

Danny was on time set to work immediately and followed on the job. Very tidy worker and very pleasant.

During a recent 'do it yourself' bath renovation I discovered my vanity lighting electrical box was not centered and I needed to replace an outdated bath fan. I called and Kristen responded to my voice mail promptly, scheduled a free estimate for Danny to come out, he came out and I had the estimate in no time. I proceeded to schedule the work and had it completed recently. Danny was honest, knew what he was doing, cleaned up after himself and even looked at some other issues I was having with air conditioning (at no additional charge) and provided me with an explanation when I asked questions and when he was doing the job. He centered the electrical box, replaced the bath fan (went to the attic several times), added a double switch and replaced another outlets face to match new switch face color. I have not one thing to complain about this company. Highly recommend and they will be my electrical person to go to as long as they are in business.

Very easy to speak to and to present problem. He was clear and friendly in describing problem once it was found. Priced very fairly and problem was fixed.

Arrived on time and began work. Made sure all of the breakers were operational and could handle loads. Marked the location of the hanging fixtures and made sure they were where I wanted them. Made holes for fixtures. Ran wiring for fixtures and switch. Connected lighting and made sure switches worked. Cleaned up after work. I was very impressed with how he advised me of what and how he was performing his work. Very professional, knowledgeable..... and honest!
