Dustin, the electrician, was on time and slightly earlier, reasonably priced, very meticulous, clean and careful while doing the work in our home.

We just bought a house and were having problems with our tankless water heater not working. Dustin came by and diagnosed the problem quickly: the previous owner installed a 60-amp device with wiring only able to support 30 amps. Fixing that by replacing the wiring wasn't possible at the time (he came by at around 4:30 PM and would need a lot of time to do such a task with the way the house is wired), but he managed to get us some warm water to get us by for the next couple of days until they could come back and take care of it. That was great, and I didn't need to suffer shrinkage for very long.

I messaged the company on Angies List and was written back immediately by Kristen. She was very polite and quickly gave me information based on my specific need. We scheduled an appointment and the appointment was confirmed and met even earlier than expected. Danny Barnes fixed my microwave and gave me a great price, very nice and professional.

Dustin was prompt, professional, and meticulous in completing the job. He had to run conduit to supply power to the locations where the lights were installed. He also installed an automatic dusk-to-dawn timer to control the lights. The job was done perfectly, the lights are working well on the timer, the work was fairly priced, and I am a happy customer. This company is very focused on quality and developing excellent customer experiences. I plan to use them again and recommend D. Barnes Electric very highly.

Danny Barnes arrived with a helper and did a fantastic job checking all the electrical outlets and then changing the bad ones. He was reasonably priced and very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend him.

I had a new driveway put in. When the paver company removed the old driveway, there was a pipe that carried my pool equipment wires from one side of the house to the breaker panel on the other side of the house (Who knew!). That pipe was embedded in the concrete and could not be saved. The paver company pulled the wires out and installed a new pipe to tie in to the other pipe (untouched by the driveway fiasco). By the time they finished the driveway, my pool had no electric for 5 days and my daughters birthday party was coming up soon. I called D Barnes Electric & Controls and spoke with Kristen who was very nice and she said she could have someone come out the following evening (after normal business hours). They arrived on time BUT after trying several times, they realized there was a break in the pipe that wasn't allowing them to fish the wires through! SUPER! My husband went out the following morning and quickly found the break in the pipe after digging up some landscaping. I called Kristen with the news and everything was completely repaired the following day. My pool didn't turn green and my daughters pool party went off perfectly! I so appreciated their quick response, professionalism, and overall compassion for the urgency of the situation. I would definitely refer them and will be using them again.

He was very professional and polite and very carefully explained each step that he was doing. the problem turned out to be 2 fuses that were not strong enough for our new carrier air conditioner, The unit stopped working after we used the heater element for the first time since the unit was installed.
