Terrazzo Care Restoration Experts, Inc. did a rotten job on my floor. They ended up knocking about $100.00 for the job. He told me his work was featured on This Old House. He showed me pictures of his other work and what I could expect the finished product to look like. Then he made me these excuses that the person who did the floor years ago put some crystallized finish on and that interfered with his work. The finish came out bad. It just turned out horrible. I wouldn't pay him the full amount. I took $500.00 off. He's just full of it. He spent more time talking than working. It didn't turn out the way it was supposed to. He represented it was going to turn out a certain way. It just didn't look like he said it would.

Frank and his team are great! They really know their stuff about Terrazzo floors. We had some really dirty floors. Frank came by during the initial visit and polished a small area. I must say, after he did that that area was so clean and so shiny. I didn't think the Terrazzo could shine that much but it did. It looked great. Since we are doing a lot of work to the new house, Frank really worked with us to get the most work done within out budget. He also recommended areas where would be better off not polishing the floor given that some areas didn't have Terrazzo but unfinished concrete. Frank is really a nice guy to work with. Anyone that knows Frank will find that he is a super nice guy. When the work day arrived, Frank's team arrived early each day and worked very hard. I stopped by throughout the process to see how things were going. Each time, his crew was hard at work. His team is really a good set of guys. The work took three full days to complete. During the process, nails were removed and holes were filled. Each area that required filling looked so great that it is impossible to see afterward where the problem areas were. I will say that anyone who is considering getting Terrazzo work done should call Terrazzo Care Restoration Experts. It is great to know that these guys are out there for anyone with a Terrazzo floor. In summary, our floors look great and we are very happy with the way things turned out. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

The pricing so I didn't go with them but he was so very nice. He stayed here with us for about three hours. He was really nice.

After reading such positive reviews about Frank and his service, I contacted him to refinish my terrazo floors before I moved into my new house. Frank is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. He said his main goal was for me to love terrazo. His reviews and sincerity sold me on having him perform the work. The work was to begin on a Monday with his best team performing the work. They showed up, without Frank, as scheduled and were very polite. I assumed Frank would show up also but he didn't come. No big deal as I figured he would come out during the process to inspect the job his workers were doing. Maybe if the workers were supervised, none of my problems would have occurred. Since the house was empty, I told them they could use the refrigerator for their drinks and lunch. Give an inch..... Monday night, after the first day work, I came home to find water and dirt on the floor in one of the bathrooms. It turns out the workers felt it was acceptable to shower in my house. Not only that, but they broke the shower head. I conveyed this to Frank and he said he would address with his guys. Tuesday night, I came home to two more incidents. 1) Hearing a drip coming from a different bathroom, I went in to find water dripping in the shower stall. I guess since they broke the other shower head, they chose to shower in a different bathroom and did not properly shut off the water. 2) I found their clothes in my high end washer. I myself would not wash clothes filled with chemicals, crud, etc. in this washer, but they felt it was acceptable. It was too late to contact Frank so I waited to speak to him on Wed. Wednesday morning, I went by the house to find one of his workers in the middle of cooking in my kitchen. Are you kidding me?! Then, I find they left the gate open down by my canal and their fishing rod leaning against the fence. These acts were completely unprofessional and I would have immediately asked them to leave if I didn't need the job finished on schedule. I called Frank to explain my concerns and sent him pictures of these acts. He said he was horrified and would address with his workers. I asked him not to address with them until after the job was complete as I was concerned with what other actions would be taken. The job was finished, without notifying me and the workers took my house key. They had my cell phone number and could have easily called to make arrangements. It took an additional two days to get the key back based on Frank's schedule. Further items of note include: *The interior doors were removed and stored on my outside patio subject to the weather. Upon completion of the job, the doors were not reinstalled. I have no idea which door goes where. *Urinating in the bidet. *The terrazo floor of the master bathroom closet was not done. *The marble step going out to the garage was not done. They were aware of the step since they put some of the doors in the garage. *There were brown stains that did not come out along the walls and corners in many of the rooms/closets. Per the quote, the corners were to be done by hand. This was not done since the obvious stains were still there. When Frank came back to return the key, he applied a product to remove the stains. It did not work. *Trash bags were left outside my house and empty soda cans were left inside my house. *I am happy to recommend companies that do good work as it is difficult to find good people. However, ask me before you put a sign on my lawn. This is not the experience I expected based on the Angie's List reviews and speaking to Frank. It is unbelievable that these things occurred and that Frank had no explanation for the actions or make amends.

Frank's crew removed 28 year old lineleum from our terrazo floor in a home built in 1950. They did a great job and we have a fabulous floor to show for all the hard work. They repaired a couple of holes. We had two crews since the job took longer than expected because it was a pain to remove the linoleum than they had planned. These AMERICAN crews were courteous, punctual, spoke English. We would hire them again! Fabulous job!

He was very nice and everything but I have a house that's built in 1952 and I don't think the terrazzo can be restored. I'd definitely recommend him. If I had a terrazzo floor that could be restored, I definitely will use him.

The job was complete on time and on budget. There were no surprise charges and Frank called me daily to let me know the progress and inform me of any issues. I have had two neighbors come to see what was done and they were astounded by the results. I have recommended them to Frank and will continue to do so to anyone looking to restore terrazzo flooring.

Frank and his team are terrific to work with. Frank spent the time explaining the process to me and his team members were efficient, timely, professional and most important - did a great job.

I phoned Concepts to describe my problem/need and made an appointment - I wasn't able to adequately explain the scope of problem over the phone, so Frank arranged a date and time to stop by. On the day, however, several hours passed and I hadn't heard from him, so I phoned Frank - he reported he was running late. (This annoyed me somewhat but keep reading for the happy ending.) He showed up at around 5 pm and was very courteous - not only that, but clearly excited about/passionate about his work. We quickly determined that a complete grinding/refinishing wasn't necessary and that spot treatment would be sufficient. Frank then offered/agreed to do the work right then and there. Ever eager to get a house chore checked off the list, I agreed. Between the use of abrasive pads and an electric hand buffer, plus chemical treatment, the three areas I had highlighted as problems were all restored to like-new or virtually-new condition. It was close to 8 pm by the time he left, and Frank was diligent and fastidious in cleaning up after stone repair - which is a very dirty and messy business. He then phoned me this morning to check in and make sure I was still happy with results by daylight. I was happy with the results by day and by night, and I'm pleased to recommend this firm to anyone with a stone floor, particularly terrazzo, problem.

In a word, my nearly 60 year old floors look MAGNIFICENT. The staff that Frank has working for him obviously share his passion, pride and integrity. They were all respectful, neat and extraordinary craftsmen. The process went exactly how Frank had explained it and the results FAR exceeded my expectations. My interaction with Frank Andreou and his company, Concepts in Cleaning, reinforced what I intuitively knew but had clearly lost sight of when I hired the first company and that is that true value is much more than the lowest price. Value is what you receive for what you pay and based on that formula, there is no better value out there than what you will get from Concepts in Cleaning. It is so rare and refreshing to deal with a business owner that truly cares about the work he does and is concerned first and foremost about the satisfaction of his customers. Frank Andreou and his staff at Concepts in Cleaning are true artisans when it comes to refurbishing terrazzo. Don't make the same mistake I did by basing your decision exclusively on price or you will learn the cost of a good night's sleep. THANK YOU FRANK!! WELL DONE!!!

We had the terrazzo in our house beautifully restored. The previous owners had put down carpeting so we had numerous holes in our terrazzo from the tack strips. The holes were patched to match the existing floor and the flour was restored to a beautiful shine. Concepts in Cleaning has the machinery and expertise to do proper terrazzo restoration. Although they weren't the lowest bid we received they were well worth the money. We initially went with another company that was ruining our floor and concepts in cleaning was able to fix their mistakes and make a potential disaster come out looking great.

It went very well though I feel that he rushed through the job as he started later than he originally stated and we had a deadline to move in to the house.

First the carpet, tile and vinyl are removed. DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF, b/c you can really mess up the terrazzo underneath. Next, the sediment is removed from the terrazzo, holes are filled to match the floor color, and the terrazzo is restored to a natural shine (it is not extremely polished).

Frank knew we needed to have the floors done before we moved in to the house and on short notice, made sure that the whole job was done with time left for us to paint the walls. His workers are professional and a pleasure to deal with. He quickly addresses any questions or concerns and will make sure you are happy with the end product. I am very pleased with my beautiful floors and know they will be a joy for the life of the house!!

Marble Care Restoration Experts, a part of Concepts in Cleaning, were very professional and prompt. I asked for an estimate, they called to set an appointment. Mr. Tiago Almeida came over and measured the area to be worked on and polished. He even told me that an area did not need polishing. He sent me the estimate by e-mail - very competitive pricing, by the way. We decided against doing the office, he said no problem, then subtracted that area and sent me the estimate without the office. The crew arrived in the morning and moved the necessary furniture to clean the floors. They put plastic to protect the walls and other floors. After two days they were done, they replaced the furniture to its proper place. I was left with a clean house and I have now a beautiful polished floor, like a mirror!

They completed the job as scheduled. Looks like new Terrazzo. The new terrazzo stones used to fill holes closely matches the existing stones, not that noticeable. Everyone who visits my home compliments me on my floor. Concepts in Cleaning receives high rating in my book.

Great job. The floors not only look clean and polished but has remained this way for the past 8 months. Since the job was so good,I contacted Concepts in Cleaning to touch up newly exposed areas resulting from a kitchen renovation. Both times, the request was with short notice and Concepts in Cleaning was able to work the project into their schedule. I would highly recommend the service.

End result was very nice. Old floors formerly covered in many location with carpet and tile. They did a good job attending to difficult corners, and were able to magically make some prominent stains disappear. On time and budget.

We purchased a house and saw that under the rotten parcay tiles was Terrazzo. We did not think they were salvageable. Frank came to our home personally and did a demonstration. He took his time and answered all of our questions. We were so impressed with him and contracted with him to redo the floors. We are extremely happy with his work. I was so happy I am contracting with him to clean the other tiles we have in the house. His service is top notch and the price was fantastic.

We were very pleased with their work. The crew was pleasant and did a good job keeping the mess to a minimum. We would definitely use them again.

I was promised the floors would be free from the dirt stains and a shine like glass. They covered the floor with peroxide for 11 days to remove the stains. They then sent some inexperienced workers to do the grinding and it was not done right , they had to come back and do it again. There was a muddy paste all over the walls and door jams, they did not clean up after themselves. There are still stains on the floor two months later and when I called the company the owner nicely told me to buy the chemicals and treat it myself. The treatment is buy peroxied paste, spread it over the stained area, cover it with plastic and let it sit for 7-10 days. That was what I paid big money for him to do. I should of went with my first instincts and bought laminate flooring. I would not recommend this to anybody.

The floors look amazing. It was very uncomfortable at the end when the owner came to be paid. The number of holes repaired and the price was more than first quoted by employee. But the floor looks so beautiful and makes me so happy every time I see it - it was well worth the price. It was so hot in the room and they did it all so quickly. I would tell everyone to use them, and be prepared for all of the extra expenses...it is so worth it in the end. I had removed the ugly white tile myself, and they explained that they could have done it so much faster...too bad I hadn't known first, but I was on a tight budget.

They were able to do it very quickly. The people I dealt with were confident, nice and easy to deal with. The price was pretty good to.
