My neighbors house was struck by lightning last week and he hired mr Townsley to install lightning rods on his house and I decided to have him do ours to better safe then sorry

We hired James to install a lightning protection system to our new house, he was very professional and knowledgeable in what he did. We already recommended him to our neighbors.

We had to have him redo the cutting to the boards because each cut was not straight. He did not clean the deck evenly and we asked him not to stain in the afternoon because we knew it would be raining. He did not listen and he stained the deck anyway. We told him he would have to come back and redo it to get paid. He did come back the next day but the damage had been done. Not only was his carpentry work not professional the cleaning and staining was so bad it can t be fixed. We would have to sand it all completely and restrain for it to look correct. He then took our check and returned about an hour later and told me that he was just robbed and that his mom called and told him his father died and he asked me to write the check out to him directly not his business because he only had $30 to his name and needed to get the check cashed ASAP so he could go pick up his mom in Tennessee who was stranded since his dad just died. I told this to my husband because of course I felt horrible and right away my husband called him out because he wanted the check to go to him not his business. He responded to my husband well, I just didn t make any money on your job This man is not honest and his work looked like crap. Would not hire him for anything. Within a few hours we had my uncle on property to look at how we could try and fix what Mr. Townsley did.

I hired James Townsley Construction to seal a new wooden fence on my property. James was honest, open and upfront about pricing, and was able to work me into his schedule just a few days later. He was very thorough in applying a high-grade, oil-based sealant that it sure to last for years. I would strongly urge others to reach out for similar services!

James was absolutely awesome!!! I was a little nervous hiring someone I had never met but all I can say is WOW!! He can straight out, gave the estimate then competed the job all within 3 days. I would 100 percent hire him again. Thanks James.

Great response time. James is very knowledgeable about processes and materials. Will use him on other home projects.

Jim first power washed the driveway then applied the sealant twice. It came out very nice. I would tell others to use him because the sealant that he used is very good. It is not the water based kind.
