RollShield LLC - Windows, Doors & Shutters

We sustained some minor damage after hurricane Irma and decided to invest in protection for our windows and entry ways. By far, RollShield was the most informative and professional company that we contacted. Our consultant, Don Nowacki, visited our home in April 2017, explained all of their options, answered all of our questions and set our expectations about the entire process. They produce everything in-house and after Irma they were in high demand and we understood that we would not have an install for the next hurricane season. Fair enough. Don and the office was communicative during production and updating us on our expected date of install. We chose roll down shield for the main entry, accordion for the back door and fabric protection for the windows. Install date was set and met, the electrician followed after and the permit was closed in short order with no issues. The process, product and installation exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend RollShield!

Gave the overall as B for now as have not even hired them yet for the job. Got the estimates for the sunroom, sales manager came promptly and gave the estimates, very reasonable estimates, but after looking at the review online and enough reviews for the sunroom, really thinking about hiring them for the job. If I get guarantee on workmanship and schedule, willing to consider giving the job to them. ***can't say if I hire them again at this time, as the job done and see their workmanship

Good. It took a long time, but they've been extremely busy and they let us know ahead of time that it would take awhile. The quality of work appears to be very good. The shutters are very easy to close and lock.

They did a really good job installing- the installer was meticulous about his work and cleaned up well afterwards

It was a good process. The sales rep was great, he gave a competitive price and they did the work as promised.

They did a good job, offered one year payment plan which we had a disagreement about, but they corrected it quickly. The work was good and everything was fine after the one episode. I will recommend and use them, again.

The SuperMax Roll Up Hurricane Screen is extremely well well built, plus it looks strong and impressive, making it not only a great safety feature but an asset to the appearance of our home. I truly believe it is an addition that will add "GREAT" value to our home. The lexon clear panel you added to seal off the opening from the end post of the SuperMax Hurricane screen to our structural angled lanai wall is a very classy touch which makes your firm stand out and superior to your competition. From the initial time we made the request to when the work was done was much too long. It was very slow.

They did a great job. I was satisfied with the job. They kept me in the loop as far as the process went. They were on time and got the job done quickly.

Install was performed by two great guys who knew what they were doing and did a great job. Quality of the shutters is first class. I would recommend Roll Shield to anyone looking for a first class company that performs just as they promised. A++++++++

We use Angies List all the time which is why I am writing this review and I would give them a C- rating. Seems like a good product but customer service is terrible. Our salesman Nathan was very good and we signed a contract on 3-19-18 for 5 accordion and 6 roll down shutters. Unfortunately, the job was not completed until 10-26-18, seven months later and it was a comedy of errors throughout. Installation was scheduled for June and delayed to July 23rd which is somewhat understandable given its hurricane season. They installed the accordions but did not have the roll downs. Unfortunately, the accordions were the wrong color, had to re-made and installed causing delays. They came back early August to install the roll down shutters but two didn’t work properly as motors were not large enough for the opening. Thank goodness the lead installer Thomas noticed and addressed the problem. I called my contact Dave at their office and calls were not returned for 7-10 days. When I did speak with him, we scheduled several appointments in August and September and the workers never showed up. We also did not receive a phone call from the company notifying us of this after we rearranged our schedule to be home those days. This included one occasion where they were to arrive at 9am and did not show. I called Dave and he said they would arrive at 2pm and again did not show and again no phone calls were received from the company. When they did come back out, one of the new motors did not work properly; one piece on another was damaged and had to be remade; and another shutter did not work properly. After another round of calls not returned by Dave they came back out 9-14 and 9-18 to address the issues, including one of the tracks not being properly installed. I then spoke with Tim at the office in early October to install the finishing trim work, but when the workers arrived they did not have the correct pieces for the job. After several weeks and not hearing from Tim, I called him to get the job finished. When they came back out, unfortunately there was one roll down where the trim was not properly installed and had to be rescheduled again. The job was finally completed on 10-26-18, amen.

Hurricane Shutter installation went fine. The installers were professional and polite. There were just some delay with Rollshield.

It was an excellent service. They are super people. I would like to give them an A+ if possible. And they passed the inspection.

There was a bit of a delay in the beginning, but once business matters were straightened out it was an overall great experience. Their product is perfect, you can see through it, and it and the sun comes in. I would recommend them.

Because of Hurricane Irma in 2017 there was a backlog. Understandable and we knew we had a several month wait. Installation happened when expected. Our installers were on time, and efficient. Job was finished quickly, cleanly. This is our second time using Roll Shield LLC and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic. I called three companies for pricing. Roll Shield was the second company to come to give me a quote. Realized very quickly that my sales person was a professional and never needed to speak with the third company. Pricing, materials and installation crew were all great. Could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended Roll Shield.. a decision you will never regret. A++++++

We have always relied on Angies List to hire services. This is why I am writing this review. We are from Michigan and have condo here. A salesman, Larry came and seemed very honest and trustworthy to show us the Doors and Windows. The reviews were great a year ago. Our installation was scheduled for Oct. 2nd and 3rd. My husband called before we drove here to make sure that everything was okay. We were assured that yes scheduled installation was all set. On Oct. 2nd. no one showed up, so we called a couple times. Then after we called there, we were told the guys truck broke down. The next day two guys come late and say they think they have the wrong doors, but they have our name on them. Also, the guy says that the hardware was not there. The next day the other guy goes to Dr. and doesn't come back. The day after that, again we are told that truck broke down again. The guy shows up late and says he has an irate customer and he has to go there. Then he promises us that on Saturday he will come with two other guys and finish project. Saturday two guys get here late and are no where near finished when they leave. Then we get a call wanting money from owner. We have paid according to contract, and would love to pay the rest upon installation. They have messed up our floors, we have metal and plastic shavings all over our leather furniture and bedding. They used our patio table outside to place their tools on. I could go on and on. Unbelievable. We have never seen anything like this ever. Went to look at Better Business Bureau and saw multiple complaints. We leave to go back to Michigan in a week and have renters coming in our condo. Hoping for completion, but not counting on it. We may have to find another company to finish.

They are installed, they did good worksmanship.

They were good. They did the job there were suppposed to in a time they said they would.

They were good, knew what they were doing and it was a good experience all the way around. I was very impressed. I will highly recommend and use them, again.
