I got 2 bids. Liked their sale man and price was better than other one. I had to call them to schedule the installation. They had to come back two more times to complete the installation because they didn't have some of the parts of the shutter. Ugg. The electrician, installer, office help, etc. are very nice to work with though.

Roll Shield was incredible. The salesman, Ray Hendricks, who came to my home was extremely courteous, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and informative. The installers were polite, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and neat. Not every contractor I have used in the past went to such extremes to be neat and clean up after themselves. They worked steadily. It was amazing to watch. This is a fairly new product on the market in the US and I was very anxious to see the finished product and how it looked on my home. These screens are beautiful. Extremely strong, aesthetically pleasing, secure, and definitely worth the cost. Everyone I had communication with at Roll Shield bent over backwards to be polite and satisfy me. I highly recommend this vendor and their awesome product. I had originally looked into installing an alarm system in my home but the cost just didn't seem to fit the products. I wasn't impressed with any of the alarm systems I looked into. I had seen an advertisement on the local news about the Crimsafe screens and decided to look into them. What I found was an awesome product that will definitely provide the security I want and allow me the ability to leave my windows open and enjoy fresh air without any feeling of insecurity.

Rollshield is terrific. They are professional and efficient. One year ago, Rollshield installed a hurricane shutter on my townhome on Clearwater Beach and I can't tell you how wonderful this past year has been. I have no worries about rain water leaking into our home. I just lower the motorized shutter. It takes 30 seconds and gives me total peace of mind. Best home improvement investment we ever made.

They did a good job. They scratched the new paint job on my walls, however. I had to go out there and repaint it.

The sales rep that came out was on time, very nice and courteous and helped educate me on the options. He was able to provide me a quote for $1,200 each for Velux insulated glass replacements with excellent energy efficiency and protection from hurricanes. After also getting quotes from 4 other companies, his quote was the most competitive. Unfortunately, this was because it was too good to be true. I came to learn from the other companies I looked into that no skylight company offered pre-made insulated glass skylights in the size of mine (4' x 6'). If I wanted both impact resistant and energy efficient skylights, my options were limited to custom made options, and Velux did not offer that. After reaching back out to them to re-confirm the quote, they indeed let me know Velux skylights in my size where not an option. Again, very nice salesman, very knowledgable in the field, and responded to my voicemails/emails within a few days. However, a written quote should not have been provided without confirmation that what they were selling me actually existed. In the future, I will go with a company that specializes in skylights and eliminate the middle-man.

Excellent service. We staged the install over several months for convenience. The company worked with us over the period of the install.

Greg Moore and his team were excellent. The quotation was provided quickly, measurements done and shutters installed efficiently. The installers were professional and worked hard to satisfy our requests. The office staff was patient and followed up all requests. The shutters look great and exceed our expectations.

Saw this company at the Tampa Home Show. Wanted a quote for storm shutters. Experience with salesman turned us off for this company.

The process with the salesman was terrific, very knowledgable and able to answer all our questions. Two weeks after the inital estimate we signed the contract and were told delivery and installation would be in 4 to 6 weeks, the installation would take no more than two days, and the office would call to set up the times. The next week the office called and gave us a installation time frame around the 6th week which was fine and said they would call us right before then to firm up the specific date and time. Well the 6th week came and we did not receive any call, so we called the office. They then informed us that the one manufacturer had delayed the order and it would not be delivered until a week or two later. Two weeks later we were called and said installation would be the next day, which we refused due to prior engagements because this was the first communication they had made to us, so we agreed on Monday of the next week. The team of installers showed up as scheduled and installed the CWS windows that day. At the end of the day as they were leaving we were talking about seeing them tomorrow and they gave a very mixed signal to us. Sure enough that evening at 5:00pm an hour after they left we received a call from the owner telling us the other windows were not even delivered to them yet but would be by Thursday of that week for sure and promised they would be installed on Friday. Of course we were surprised that no one else in the company had would tell us the bad news, but this was only the beginning. Well on Friday the installers did show up and installed the remaining windows. We must say the product and installation was excellent and we are very happy with them. The installers on the second day took the time to explain the features of the windows and make sure of any questions we had. Having said that there were a number of 'punch list' items, none too serious but just had to be finished. We were calling and emailing follow ups to get all this completed. Unless we contacted them we did not have any follow up. This was the middle of December and it wasn't until mid-February that one of the three final items was completed. We are still waiting on documentation for our energy credit and for the office to set up the final inspection as they told us they would do. Again, the product, installation and value was excellent but the administrative follow up in this organization leaves something to be desired. UPDATE, April, 2013: Well, they finally contacted us in late March with the need to file the Notice of Commencement.....three months after the job was completed. Then the final inspection was done on April 3rd with everything approved and the permit closed on the 5th....after another missing piece of documentation needed to be sent in. Never did get any of the energy credit documentation they promised, but luckily on our own we were able to come up with it and receive our the credit from our electric company.

Outside of the hurricane fabric, which comes pre-made, it was not done well. The Crimsafe windows were not done to spec. 3 of the original bay windows in my kitchen were not put in correctly, and needed to be re-done. He had no labels to put on at all for his work. When I brought this to his attention, he claimed he didn't know they weren't putting it on, but also that he didn't have any. Those labels are required for the assessment. I was lucky that the Citizen rep was nice enough - they returned 4 times to assess. My front door, which I paid $4,000 for, was obviously damaged. It has an inch of white paint missing, which I brought to their attention. I finally had to fix it myself. He sent the guy back with the wrong paint. They finally agree to fix the door, but not without removing the door again. I rejected this because I will not have their workers out to my house anymore in fear it would just be screwed up further. He came out one day to sell me $6,000 worth of strapping in my attic, claiming it would be the best hurricane prevention, but didn't even ask about the job I was complaining about. I have had nothing but aggravation from the day they started working on my house. Nothing was done correctly. I sent a 3-page email to them. The girl that works in the office, Linda, has been helpful. He charged me $1,300 for a side garage door and had the audacity to charge me for a lock and door knob - which I could've paid half the price for. He asked what he can do to make this right. I told him that I only wish no one else has to go through 3 months of dealing with the stupidity of his company. He told me that he was only going to send him his best workers for this job. I can't imagine what his worst would be.

After hours of research regarding bahama shutters and companies who install them near my family home in Florida, I selected RollShield for the job based on their amazing professionalism, quality of product and fair price. As a former corporate trainer, I know what excellence in customer service looks like and how difficult it is to achieve. I also know how rare it is to find in today's business environment. So when it appears and shines as brightly has it does with this company, it should be shouted from the roof tops. Therefore, please consider this my roof top shout out. This company is the real deal. Overall the job was done exactly how the sales rep promised. The sales rep was very professional and the installers were extremely enjoyable to have around. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Roll Shield to anyone needing one of their services.

Rollshield sent out Chris who is their salesmen that explained to us what the benefits of these windows were. How would they would save us money the house would be quieter, and are leak proof, and energy efficient to save us money. The price was fair compared to the two other quotes we got, we went with Rollshield because they have a great local reputation and have been in business for a long time. I would definitely use them again in the future. Installers were on time, very polite, cleaned up everything when finished and did a tremendous job! Very satisfied with the end result and would most definitely use them again!

We saw Crimsafe at a recent home show 10/21/12 made an appointment but the guy didn't show. New appointment was for 6pm on 10/24/12, he was late, no biggy. We explained what we were looking for, Lloyd took the measurements of the areas we were interested in and came up with $31,879.00, he forgot the VA discount which lowered the amount to $29,967.00 if we used our home as a display and had it installed by December 1st. This was a little too soon for us due to the fact we had to have the pool enclosure, pool deck, and Lanai tiles replaced. Lloyd wanted to know when that was being done and I told him I was still contacting people for estimates, he started telling my husband and I that there was no reason the contractors couldn't have this done by his date, so I explained to him once again that we were still getting bids and permits had to be pulled, he stated we deal with pulling permits all the time and it doesn't take that long, once again I told him I was still researching contractors. We knew this was totally out of our budget and explained that to Lloyd several times, for us this was a fact finding mission. I asked if there were any coupons on Angie's list and he stated "NO", we don't give coupons, but looking on here today there is a 10% coupon which is more than the VET discount. We told him several times, as the price kept changing, that we were doing reconnaissance trying to get prices on things to fix our sink hole home and this was a "Luxury" not a necessity. He did work with us to try to figure out how we could afford this, but once again I told him because we weren't sure what repairs/replacement of things in our home would costs we just couldn't jump on this. We told him "no" this was so expensive and that we weren't aware that this costs so much, we were just getting estimates for things not making any rash decisions. He kept trying to re- figure, reconstruct, re-examine, he came across sounding like a used car salesman, by 10:00pm my husband and I had had enough, we told him we needed to sleep on it this, he then stated "He was afraid of that." He called his boss again and came up with another price wanting us to make a commitment , we stuck to our guns and stated once again we needed to sleep on it and talk it over. After 4 hours of this we were done, I had ask him to leave we were so stressed out by the time he finally left. High pressure tactics just doesn't work for me. He needed us to call him by 9am this morning with an answer needless to say I didn't make the call. This is a great product and hopefully one day middle class people can afford it , but right now this is so out of my price range.

Rollshileld in Clearwater was one of the best companies to have ever done work in my home. They installed windows. They gave us the product they promised and even added some extra.things I mentioned I wanted - at no additional cost.. They said the product would be available in four weeks and they called in four weeks exactly to tell me they were ready to install. They said it would take two days to install and it did. Their workers arrived early, both days! Time is extremely important since I work full-time and take care of my family. They worked hard, were professional, organized, courteous and left the house as clean, if not cleaner than when they arrived! I cannot say enough good things about the workers who installed the windows. The impact windows themselves are beautiful, energy efficient, and quiet. We interviewed many companies and I am so glad we chose Rollshield! I wish all companies were this reliable!

Was refered by my neighbor but with the Home Show coming up in June I wanted to wait and see what else was out there.I ended up getting 3 estimates after home show. Roll Shield was very convincing at the show and the CrimSafe looked to be an outstanding product. In the end I went with Roll Shield and very glad I did. Windows were made faster than I thought they would and on the day of install, they installer showed up 15 mins early :-), and completed the entire job by 4pm. Installers were very helpful with all my questions, and cleaned up the areas after each window was done !! Everyone I delt with (but one) was more than helpful including the office staff emailing and fullfilling any request I had. Come to fine out now my Insurance co. requires protection for my doors, and slideing glass doors (even tho they are inside my sreened in area in back).So I went to their office today and made arrangements to have some work done as they have what I need and I like the way they preformed on the first project. I would Highly Recommend this Company to anyone that needs home protection, be it windows or doors.

The storm shutter install went fine, but the window install was delayed due to miscommunication on the contractor's part regarding the necessity to remove trim, etc. inside the home. Eventually, they sent a different installer and the situation was resolved to our satisfaction. They were cooperative and finished the job as expected for the price quoted.

Almost everything from start to finish went quite smoothly with professional precision. The only problem that I recall was the need to replace the drive motor on one of the two rolldowns with a unit having an externally accessible manual override crank mechanism. It took about a week to get that installed, finishing the job.

I met Mr. Moore and his staff at a recent home show in St. Petersburg and was impressed with their knowledge and most of all, their kindness and non-pushy sales manner. I shared my interests and what I thought I needed and filled out a simple and quick form inclusive of my contact information. I was contacted within a few days and the sales person showed up to review my needs. I was concerned about my heating and air conditioning expenses and found that these replacements would definately lower my energy bills. I found also that my older garage door was not up to standard to withstand hurricane type weather here in Pinellas County, Florida. I replaced the garage door and upon Mr. Moores personal inspection during the installation he added special support braces at no additional charge. The crew were all courteous and extremely detailed, they left no debris or trash upon completion (a pet peeve of mine). I would definately reccomentd the professional staff at Roll Shield to all my friends for their future window, door and or hurricane related products..
