The salesperson Larry was courteous and very helpful and gave us several options for window replacement as well as hurricane protection. When the job started, the installers worked diligently and as efficiently as possible. They also kindly offered to make another trip out to replace and reinstall a window that arrived from the manufacturer with a stress crack. I am most grateful for a job well done.

I'm ecstatic! The process began with the salesman Ray Hendricks who is one of the nicest salesmen I've met in a long time. No pushy selling. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. He explained their entire process to me before he left so I knew what to expect as far as time frame and installation. It only took a couple of weeks before I received a call my windows were ready for install. The day of install Trey arrived early and began removing my security screens. Rick and Ray (different Ray, not the salesman) arrived with the windows and spent the entire day taking out the old windows and installing the new windows. They placed tarps on the floor under each window they replaced. They vacuumed after they finished and left no dust or dirt anywhere. Even using a HEPA vacuum to remove whatever dust might have been in the air. They replaced all furniture that had to be moved for ease of working, nothing was left out of place. I'm disabled and need the windows to open easily. They did not leave until they had me open and close each window, ensuring my satisfaction with ease of use. Trey then installed the security screens again. When the project was completely finished they removed everything and the inside and outside of my home looked beautiful. No trash left around, no tools, no window parts or pieces left laying around. Nothing. It was hard to know they had been at my home working. Before they left they gave me the permit and paperwork required by the city for my install. A simple phone call to their office put the city inspection in process. These three men worked like a well oiled team. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They worked non-stop. What really amazed me, usually contractors use foul language throughout their work day, I never heard one bad word from any of the three men. Surprised me! Impressed me. The windows are beautiful. The install was a great experience. I've never been happier working with a contractor. Highly recommend this vendor.

On the install date two young men showed up on time with the shutters and equipment. They were quite professional, completed the job in about three hours and cleaned up all packing material before they left.

This company is great! Not only is their product excellent, but their customer service and install services were outstanding. They showed up on time, did the work right the first time, were friendly, professional, and cleaned up all work areas when finished. I would recommend them to anyone considering easy to use hurricane shutters.

This was our second time using ROLLSHIELD as we were doing our home in sections. They came on time, the products fit perfectly and both the sales representative and the installers were prompt, courteous and professional. After completing the job, they cleaned up everything and it looked as if no one had been working. We most definitely will use them again and highly recommend their services.

Installer showed up on time and very effeciently remove old metal rails and stack old planels where directed. He caulked all old screw holes so that the only thing we had to do was paint exposed areas left from old framing. The whole installation took less time than what we thought. When completed he explain how to properly work the shutters and also how to maintain the rails so that they would always glide smoothly. The installer also sent extra keys for the locks so we are left with the concern over " what if I can find a key."

We were working on a tight window as to installation as we were returning to RI for graduations and to sell our previous home. They arrived at the appointed day in May, but informed us that the door's shutter was not competed at that point. It wasn't a big problem and they agreed to supply it asap; and would let us know when they had it processed. We worked it out to where our neighbor would represent us when it came in.. We coordinated the process and the job was completed about three weeks later. We are very happy with the crew and sales people and consider them superlative as to professionalism and friendliness.

They've been really good. Especially, they have to drive into Tampa from Orlando. They've been excellent. Very responsive, very professional. The salesman showed us everything that he had. He even had samples in his truck with everything that they had for sale. The guy who came out and measured actually gave us some suggestions on a couple windows, and it worked out really well. That was an 'A' on both points. They were very good. Very professional, they answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner.

The work performed by the craft men was excellent. They worked well past 6pm to get the job completed in 1 day. Overall rating of D is the result of a verbal contract by Roll Shield representatives to provide a written mitigation report, which was discussed with the sales person, operation manager and owner. It was my understanding that impact replacement of all windows would be required to obtain the mitigation report. All windows were replaced. Two months later, July 2014, I was informed that because the sliding glass doors were not replaced with impact glass, the company would not issue the report. This company was referred by a neighbor who advised me about the report. Previously I had selected another company but due to promise of a mitigation report, I went with Roll Shield. Update: Owner Greg Moore, who is extremely knowledgeable and personable, came to our home. He apologized tor the previous miscommunication and give us a clear understanding the mitigation process. He provided information about the entire process, including how mitigation affects property insurance premium. He is assisting us with our existing property features that are mitigation attributes. His supportive services exceed all of our expectations. We highly recommend this company.

It went very well. I was very satisfied.

Two days later one of the shutters had the same problem; it would not roll down. Another adjustment was made, for which I was not charged, as expected.

Salesman Larry arrived at my condo a day after my phone call. He noted all my plans and ideas, and told me he would get back to me in a few days with an estimate. He did, we agreed on the price, and the materials were ordered. The following week, Rollshield had their man out taking measurements, and thus, the job was started. It was completed in the time frame I was given, and all the material is top shelf. I am very pleased with the outcome of both rooms, and impressed with all the workman who came out, who were professional, courteous, and helpful with suggestions. i highly recommend this company! I called 3 storm shutter companies. Rollsheild was the 3rd one, they came over within 1 hour and corrected the problem in about 15 minutes for no charge. Wow, who does that any more!

Provider hadn't contacted me as of 7/31/13. On 8/1 I contacted provider and was told that they had filed a notice of commencement so they could put a lien on my property. At that time no permit had been pulled and no work was scheduled. After arguing with me for over a week they agreed to pull the promised permit. They refused to acknowledge my request for cancelation. They had collected 50% of the contract at signing. When they finally scheduled part of the work for the 3rd Saturday in August, I let them know that I was not available on Sunday if the work wasn't finished on Saturday. The workers left before 3pm and said that they MUST return on Sunday if I wanted the job completed. I canceled much of my plans for the day and said they best I could muster was to be home by 1pm. They requested that I text them as soon as I was home (which I did). They didn't show until around 4pm and left by 6pm. It took another 2 weeks (and 2 failed attempts) to get the CrimSafe screens installed. I had to hire an attorney to get a proper lien release. It took them 3 attempts to present a somewhat acceptable release. Very unprofessional - trash in the yard, broken promises, and theft of neighbor's electricity. Upon inspection of the work on the trusses after the work was supposedly completed. Multiple inspections have discovered that: 1) They did not install the BPA strap and claw that I paid for. They instead substituted a cheaper and much less effective Tie. 2) Each of the inspectors have reported that roughly 25% of the struts have nothing installed on them. Rollshield initially claimed no knowledge of the substitution and then later claimed we met and I agreed to the substitution (why would any rational person agree to substitute a 22 cent product for a $15 product especially when the cheaper product is load rated at 1/5 of the product purchased. They have not offered to install the correct product and canceled the appointment (11 minutes before the appointment) to inspect the fact that they was nothing installed on 25% of the trusses.

Staff was polite and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately they told me over the phone that they could do my job. After waiting a week, they came to look at what needed to be done and told me they can't do it. I guess whomever answered the phone was a salesman who did not know his product well. They said they would try to locate a company for me, but that was the last I heard from them. _x000D_|They are pleasant people whom I imagine sell and service their regular products well. They just overstate their capabilities.

At the recent Home Show in Orlando, FL. we observed a company named Roll Shield dealing with HURRICANE SHUTTERS. We had come to the Home Show with the intent on finding a company that installed hurricane shutters. We discussed their products with the vendor. We were impressed with their information. A big plus was "AMERICAN MADE" and "VETERAN OWNED". Also, many different discounts were offered including ANGIES LIST, of which we are members. We then set up an appointment with the company to come to our home to further discuss their products. Roll Shield called twice, once confirming our appointment and second, the scheduled arrival time. We did appreciate these follow-up telephone calls. Larry, the representative of Roll Shield, arrived at the scheduled time. Larry was a great representative of the company and a true professional. Larry was terrific answering all our questions. Larry gave us an in depth introduction to the company, as well as all their products, warantee and and any other information we needed. Larry was not in any rush and took as much time as we or he needed. A great presentation for Roll Shield. Although we decided to go a different route I would definitely recommend Roll Shield. We did call though and let Roll Shield know about our decision MAINLY to inform them that we very impressed with the Roll Shield Company and their staff at the Home Show and in our home. Thank You!

The job went very well. The salesman (Larry) that first came out in March was very knowledgeable and professional and did not pressure us. I am in construction myself and told him that I would call him when we mad a decision as to what we wanted to do. In July, I called and he came back out with his boss Greg. He and was outstanding. He was very professional and really helped us make the right choices on what would be best for our home. The project took 3 weeks to complete. The shutters were done the 2nd week and Windows and doors were done the 3rd week. They had a different crew install the windows then the shutters. We were originally told 5 to 6 week but were very happy to get them sooner. Greg came out and inspected 2 days after the job and gave us our insurance inspection for our insurance company. All in all we were very pleased and I am not the easiest guy to please.

All of the employees that we dealt with knew what they were doing and did a fine job. The girls in the office were very nice as well. When the installers arrived with the windows they realized one of the windows was about an inch too short for the opening and they reordered it that day and installed it 2 weeks later. The owner called and apologized. The installers were very good. They kept the house very clean. The company was a pleasure to deal with and we love our new windows and doors. They have called twice since the install to ask how we are enjoying the windows. Next year we are going to have them build a sunroom for us.

I called into the Rollshield office inquiring about their company and the services they offered. I heard of Rollshield a few times on Bay News 9 and visited their booth one or twice throughout the year during Home Shows. Once speaking with someone from within their office I was provided with in-depth information about the company and learned they are a full General Contracting company who does a lot of their own manufacturing. Once I gained a certain comfort level I set up an appointment to speak with one of their Sales Specialists. We scheduled the appointment 2-days in advance. It was either the day before or the exact day I received a phone call re-confirming the appointment and was provided the name of the sales reps to be expecting. Once the sales rep came to my home he'd had already done some due diligence with having several pieces of information about my property. I felt even more confident that I was dealing with a company who does their homework. Nonetheless, the sales rep and I spoke about my expectations and wants for my home. The sales rep reviewed code information with me and provided a summary of different options to choose from - once finished with a short summary we walked around the property where he allowed me to point out items for inquiry. The sales rep provided a variety of suggestions to my home where I agreed to make immediate changes right away and others after the new year. I signed a contract and began the process of acquiring Rollshield's services. A couple of days later I received a series of calls and communication from the office providing me with next steps on what I should expect, along with estimated potential time frames for delivery, installation, permitting, etc. Overall the process was smooth with continued communication and follow up. The products were installed without issue on the said day. I was even consulted by the Sales Rep after installation to ensure I had no issues with my products or overall experience.

I was surprised at the professionalism from meeting with the salesman (he explained everything in detail) and was not pushy at all. He made me feel very comfortable and measured my openings and gave me my best options for my budget. I signed a contract and he assured me that .the next step would be a designer coming out and taking the final measurements within a day or two. After he left I felt I made the right choice, and the very next day I received a call from Rollshield and was told what time and who was coming out to see me. This is a sign of a company that is all about follow up. When they showed up to start my project, they were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I am so happy I decided to go with Rollshield and will recommend them to everyone I know. I have peace of mind knowing my home is safe. Thanks' Rollshield.

The President / CEO visited the job site and personally shook my hand and reviewed the entire project. The window installation went great. During the entire project, I received daily updates on the progress. They quoted me a competitive price for the project and when finished, it was exactly what I paid. Very impressive team, impressive professionalism, and I highly recommend as a business owner myself.
