Precision Overhead Garage Door

Service person was great to work with. Explained everything as he went a long. Changed out the rollers and lubricated everything else. The door is quiet now I definitely will be using this company again.

After having a disasterous time trying to get another garage door repair service out (Discount Garage Doors - don't use them!!) these folks were such a breath of fresh air. They showed up on time and the tech quickly realized the door was never properly installed by whoever put it together. The motor was basically having to pick up the door all by itself since the springs weren't put in right. He explained the issue, gave the quote and did the work right then and there. It works like a dream now! Would use them again and recommend them to friends. So glad I called them.

I called to get an estimate over the phone since I knew what was wrong and the estimate and what they charged where the same. They gave me a same day appointment and the technician arrived in the early part of the two hour window they set up. He called about 20 mins before arriving like they said he would. He was quick, neat professional and explained other problems he saw without being being pushy. There price was about average for what I had done, I probably could have found cheaper but they were very prompt, professional, and polite so I was very please with what I received and the price paid. i would definitely call them again and would recommend them.

It went well except they did not accept the coupon for $50 I got from AL. My wife presented it and the tech kinda blew it off. I'm not sure what happened because I wasn't there but I think the coupon should have been honored.

This went pretty much as planned. After a slight scheduling miscue Ben arrived and did the services contracted. He advised me as to other things I should be aware of for the future and replaced the rollers on my garage door making the door so quiet I have to check to make sure it closed.

They actually arrived early. Were very thorough in lubricating, adjusting, and inspecting everything involved with my overhead door. They replaced my bottom seal as the existing was very worn and had pieces missing from it. Very professional and courteous and did not try to sell me any extras beyond what I contracted them to do.

It went very quickly and they did an excellent job.

Went great. Deal was for a key pad, however technician also noticed a few other issues that were under warranty and repaired those as well without any prompting.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional, except in the way he presented his estimate. He wrote three numbers on a piece of paper. One number for each of the above repairs. In hindsight, I think they should have had a price sheet. I did not know what the cost should be. I did some research afterwards and feel that the cost should have been about half. He completed the repairs in about 45 minutes. I think that given the cost of the parts and the time he spent that I was overcharged. I should have paid him the $50 service fee and called another company. I would not recommend them. I think they give you an estimate as a beginning point for negotiation. I should not have to negotiate the cost of a garage door repair. If a company does not have a price sheet, I would not use them. They should have it on their website. Google the cost of repairs before you call the company.

Contractor showed up on time as well as called us 15 minutes prior to arrival. Very neat, clean and professional. Very personable and informative. Made suggestions on improving the quality of the door as the springs were 10 yrs. old and wavy. He replaced all the rollers and the springs and now when you open or close the door you can barely hear it. Now it is very quiet and smooth. Very happy with Precision door and we would call them again. It is so nice to have a good experience with a contractor as we just had flooring put in by Eisenberg Bros. flooring and after two months we are still waiting for them to come back and correct their work. Precision doors has renewed our faith and we will only use Angie's List contractors in the future.

Technician showed up on a Sunday evening and could not have been more courteous. They presented me with a menu of options and promptly performed the work based on what we selected. There was no emergency service call fee. Overall, I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

They came out, but unfortunately the door is so old, they could not do the work the deal offered. I have to have the door completely replaced. The gentleman that came out was very sharp, well dressed, intelligent, able to explain everything, and gave me many options. He was very helpful and I was happy with the experience, so I am still going to be using this provider for the work of preplacing the garage door.

The garage door opener a handyman had installed just months ago lost its coding when the power went out and needed a manual reset each time. My overhead garage door had been vandalized and no longer locked manually. I called Precision because I'd purchased a Deal with them and they returned my money when it turned out I didn't need the service offered. That was impressive. I suspected that this time I would have to junk the almost new Genie opener and have to get a new door too. The technician said that though the opener should be replaced he could fix the door and update old springs and rollers to make it more efficient, quiet and safer and provided a manual locking system. He worked quickly and did an excellent job, ultimately saving me money. I'm very pleased and will use Precision again.

My experience was very good. They were able to come out within a week of when I called. He gave us some upgraded recommendations for down the road. The garage door turned out better than before.

The guy was very good. I had no issues. It was very good. The guy was very professional and very nice.

They told me to give them a call and they came that very day! He was here early. He was fantastic! He didn't the work in a quick manner and also let us know what else might need done in the future but didn't try to upsell us. I would recommend them to anyone!

Doug was absolutely great. He assessed the problem with the door quickly, and was able to make the repairs, all within about 2 hours. He was friendly, professional, courteous, and took the time to make sure I understand what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. Excellent service. Will definitely call Precision Overhead Door again if I need service!

Repairman Keith called and made appointment. He came to perform a tune-up as scheduled, but when he opened and closed the garage door he noticed that one arm was not working properly. He could not perform the tune-up.

Great! No Issues. We kept changing the scope of work and they adjusted their schedule. They did not leave our location, they had all the parts, including the unplanned changing of the openers, on their vehicle.
