SCAM! Positive reviews must be fake. They charged $425 to fix my garage door, but never fixed it. It is a roll-up door and it got opened too far and was jammed. When the technician came out he looked at it for 2 minutes and said that it wasn't just jammed but needed a gear wheel replaced, and that it would cost $175 for the part and $250 for the labor. I agreed, and ten minutes later he told me it was all done. I never saw a replaced part. I saw him manually roll it up with the chain a couple of feet to fully open and he assured me it was fixed. He said there was also a blown fuse, but he didn't have any so once I replaced the fuse it would work fine. I ordered replacement fuses and put one in it. I immediately realized it was not working and did not even work manually with the chain. When pulling the chain it would slip or jam. They said they could come back out for a new service charge and provide an additional repair estimate. I asked for a refund and they refused.

Outstanding work! Removed my old roller style overhead door which was not ready. The new door is quiet and looks great.

I had this company install a new garage door back in 2020, called them to come out because i was having issues with door staying down, it would come back up and would not stay down, he said he re-programmed the motor and got it to work, however he mentioned that a torsion cable was starting to break and that it needed to be replaced, also said that it was time for a lubrication, i asked him how much for both and he quoted me $749.00, i said whaaaaaat, are you serious??? i looked online to see how much a torsion cable cost and found one for $ 11.99, a better one would cost $ 19.99, also went on you tube to see how people lubricate garage doors and all you need is a can of w-d 40, thats it, so i went and showed him that i found a cable for as low as 11.99 and also mentioned that to lubricate the door and hinges all you need is a can of w-d 40 and the look on his face was priceless, LoL, so i said your company charges about $ 715.00 for about 1 hour of labor haa ?? he said sorry but it is what the company charges , i don't set prices, Be VERY VERY careful with these types of company's , they will try and rip you off as much as they can, needless to say they will not ever be coming back to my house for any garage repairs that i need done, ( just in case if the company messages me back on this review my name is Pedro from tampa fl, your tech came out today 8/12/23 @ 9:02 AM, a lot of company's will reply to reviews with , I don't find you in our system, well i'm there and YES this is real. Thank you Precision for trying to rip me off...Zero stars if i could.

Called Precision first for quote to replace garage door springs. Tech provided a "recommendation" that included many items beyond the broken spring, which added to a surprisingly large amount. Said I could remove any, but coached that doing so would be unwise. Since I had an idea of what it should cost - a few hundred dollars - challenged him to reconsider. No deal. Instead, I got second quote from national firm that replaced both springs for 335 + tax, then lubricated and adjusted door. Nothing more needed. I guess Precision needed the extra 2800 more than I needed them. Lesson - get a second bid!

Went well but some confusion as to why its customers responsibility to schedule final inspection

DO NOT use this co. We ordered a premium brand door and the vendor is not one they had used much. The door was not like the pictures. The Precision rep agreed. To get the look we wanted I had to source new glass for the door (and the CI. said the glass I got was not as advertised). The door was damaged taking it apart, Precision DID NOT do the work—I had to find a repair co—it cost about $3k AND Precision is STILL trying to collect full balance due, has a lien on the house. They should have gone back to their vendor and asked for a refund but instead still try to collect money—less the repairs—BUT the door in now in scratch and dent shape. The company is terrible.

Excellence and professionalism in everything this company did for me. From the quoting, to timeliness to scheduling to installation and cleanup, they were great. Highly recommend them.

Based on the online reviews, I called and service technician Matt Hink responded. Couldn’t be more pleased with the way he showed me exactly where the problems were and multiple options to fix them. I chose to replace most of the broken and old hardware (which he was able to do right then because he had a stocked van) and I now enjoy a 7 yr warranty on those parts. If I do have to call on the warranty or any of the existing parts fail, I will specifically ask for Matt to be assigned, but I’m sure all your employees have the same integrity and work ethic. The Good: * Technician Arnold showed up on time, answered questions, and did exactly what the estimate said. He also provided options. * Very fast replacement of the springs. * Technician was experienced and professional * He fixed the problem with the broken spring * He also lubricated garage door and tested operation. The Bad: Price - Thought it was expensive since $800 for 2 springs and bearings. I also chose the cheapest springs and bearings (3year warranty). The price is also expensive compared to other reviews with similar work. In this case the rollers were not replaced.

Techs arrived on time and got right to work. Quick, professional installation. Tech spent a good 30 min post installation showing me proper lubrication and maintenance of new door and motor and answering all my questions. Even left a can of lubricant. Cleaned area well and disposed of all old door parts. Very happy with service and product.

I’m very disappointed about the customer service. I live in Orlando and I be been attempting to get my garage door fixed in my home in Riverview. After the initial assessment I have been trying to schedule an appointment to get the repair but they required me to pay the entire balance upfront because they claimed someone can’t our multiple times to do the repair before but my tenant never got a call and everytime I spoke to someone on the phone it was a different conversation. So I paid the full $1500 upfront and they informed me they would call my tenant to set up repair. She never got a call. I called back to inform them they said they would give her a call to schedule and still never did. Now it’s been two weeks since I was forced to pay them up front for services and I don’t understand why I have to chase someone around when you received that large amount of money upfront! It’s absolutely ridiculous to me!!!

The best service in town , friendly very nice guy

Michael C. was our tech, called before arrival and arrived five minutes ahead of scheduled time. He quickly assessed the door, gave us THREE very reasonable estimates and after discussion went to work. He was both impressive and very professional. A warm and bubbly personality combined with unparalleled expertise made us very comfortable with him and his work. Should we ever need work on our garage door, precision is who we will call (and HIGHLY recommend, but Michael C. will be asked for by name. A pleasure to do business with.

They did a good job and its working really well now. The guy who came out was very nice and professional.

A spring broke on my door at 5pm on a Friday. I called Precision and Mickey was here an hour later. Mickey was clear on all the repair options available with their corresponding warranties. He let me make my choice with no pressure and set about to quickly and efficiently replace my springs, bearings and track wheels. I feel confident that my door should be trouble free for the foreseeable future. Mickey was super personable and professional. He even tried to set up the garage opener WiFi controls with my phone. Great experience.

Three years ago when I called Precision to replace my old garage door with a hurricane rated door, I was so pleased that I said I could do commercials for Precision. Today, I had a minor problem that I did not know how to fix, so I called Precision for the first time since the door was installed. Bryan S. was assigned to the service call, made some minor adjustments and didn't charge me a fee. Now that's customer service! Thank you for restoring my peace of mind, Bryan!

All aspects of the process, from meeting for quote to completion of the job, were excellent. The team that met with us to discuss our needs and develop a quote were knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They responded quickly to a followup call for more information and to clarify. Both the sales team and the install team arrived when they said they would. Installers were quick, efficient, friendly, answered questions, and fully explained the process, tested the install, and gave us full verbal explanations and written info on operation (both auto and manual) and maintenance. The door, and it's impact rated double pane windows, look great and operate perfectly. Pricing was very competitive (we took a total of four bids). One of the deciding factors, besides our comfort with personnel, was that they had the door, AND THE WINDOWS, in stock and ready to go. At least one of the other companies we talked to quoted us a 4 week lead time in order to provide the hurrican/impact rated windows we wanted. Very happy and would definitely hire again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
