Precision Overhead Garage Door

Checked Angie's List and picked Precision Garage Door Service. I called on Sunday and got a quick appointment for Monday. The service tech, John T. called while in route and confirmed his arrival time. John did a completed inspection of the garage door and all components. He made a recommendation for the repair and completed his work professionally. He had all the parts necessary on the truck. I am very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service and John T.

It went fine. I just thought they were a little overpriced. By the time he finished diagnosing everything and I had a broken spring and some other thing it came up to like $598. He was on time. I haven't had any problem with the garage door since they fixed it so I mean the work that was done was good and the guy explained everything and he was professional. He wasn't rude or anything like that. He had good customer service skills.

He did a complete installation and the workmanship was outstanding.

I'll never use Precision again.

He said that he needed to go out to his car, then he needed to go out to his car again, and was gone about half an hour. He was terrible. The door wasn't as good as another companies. It took him an hour to get here after he called me. I wouldn't call them back again.

John, the Precion pro was very professional. He came early by twenty minutes which was nice. He checked all parts of the door and went over everything with me on the parts of the door and what each part did along with the estimate before doing any work. After answering my questions, he fixed what needed to be repaired. John also checked the opener to make sure it was in good working order. I enjoyed hearing about his family too! I highly recommend this company.

Keith was our repair tech. He was very professional. He did an excellent job of explaining what needed to be fixed, what our options were, and the costs associated. I highly recommend this company. In the future if we replace the whole garage door I will definitely contact them.

They came on time and had the parts with them, which was nice. He fixed it that day and its been working fine ever since. They were professional on the phone and throughout the entire process. I would use them again and would recommend them.

Prior to start of the job, the installation team did a great job of explaining what the problem was with my existing opener, as well as the likely causes of the problem. They fully explained what my options were and provided pricing information for each alternative. At no time did they pressure me to select a particular option. Once I selected the appropriate option for me, they immediately began the installation effort. They completed the job flawlessly and within the quoted timeframe. The only item I had a concern with was some pricing confusion on the invoice. I contacted the company owner, Mr. Jim Rapp, and he immediately addressed my concerned and went out of his way to make sure that I was completely satisfied. In summary, I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing the services that they provide. Everyone from the company that I dealt with was very professional and courteous. It is obvious that 100% customer satisfaction is more than just a slogan for this company and its owner!

I'd previously written a review of this service which was exemplary. I also mentioned that I was unhappy that I was charged an additional $20 for 'fuel charge'. A representative of this company called me shortly thereafter and said that the $20 would be refunded to me. I received the check yesterday. I commend Precision Overhead Garage Doors on their responsiveness to my concern. This shows that they have excellent customer service and truly listen to their clients. Thank you, POGD. LThe technical arrived at the time previously agreed upon. He offered a few tips and completed the work I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone.

The garage door required additional repairs. New springs and cables along with the pre-purchased rollers. The work was completed fine, but the additional price seemed extremely high. Since the tech was present and the door was dismantled, I felt no other option but to accept the additional $400 for the extra parts and labor. Entire job took about an hour to complete work.

Very prompt and professional; door has never been this quiet since we bought the house 6 years ago. They've had to come back a number of times to make adjustments because the door has a mind of its own and was opening on it's own, but it is working fine now. I would recommend them, but I have to admit I was in sticker shock with the cost.

I did not know what to expect - this was the first company I had contacted via Angie's List for services. From the moment I called to the very last interaction with the technician, Precision was AMAZING!!! The staff that scheduled the work order were so kind and patient with me and all of my questions. I was shocked when they told me that they could schedule me the very next day!!! I was NOT expecting service so quickly!! The following day, the office called to give me a better window of when the technician would be coming to my residence. Within this time frame, the technician, Ryan, called to introduce himself and that he was moments away. I could not believe this outstanding communication!! This is so very rare!!! The technician was wonderful. I have had horrible experiences in the past with other vendors and was very skeptical at first. However, Ryan was beyond professional and put my mind at ease. There are not many vendors out there that I trust but I can truly say that I trust Precision Overhead Garage Door. They stand behind their work and their pricing is incredible. The fact that they stand behind their work says it all. I cannot say enough great things about this amazing company. This is the place to call for any overhead garage door needs and/or requirements!!

James Mantsch, Service Technician, went the extra mile! He called me the day of service and let me know the exact time he would be at my home. He was on time. He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. I was going to get the Angie's special of $100 tune up and get new rollers. My garage door was missing some screws that connected the GD to the genie. And I was afraid to open my GD. After he inspected everything, he told me the rollers were good but the springs were not accommodating the weight of my GD. He also showed me the genie trolley and explained what it should look like if it was in good condition. This was a $35 part. Since my GD was 22 years old and really didn't sound so great, I decided to take his advise. Afterwards, my GD never sounded so smooth! When he was through, I mentioned to him that someone was driving by and stopped in front of my house and pointed something at my GD. At the same time I was either opening or closing my GD with my remote and the GD was frozen. I couldn't open or close it from the remote or inside my garage for at least an hour. He told me that someone now has my garage code and could get in my garage and home. He immediately told me he needs to change the code on my remote control and also change the opener in my car. He did this as a courtesy, no charge. It only took him a few minutes. I really appreciated him!

The technician, Keith, arrived as scheduled. He checked out the door, pointed out why it wouldn't open, then recommended a number of fixes that would be needed beyond the $100.00 roller replacement that I had purchased on Angie's List. I agreed to replace the spring with 2 lifetime guaranteed springs and have the wires repaired. He worked well and completed his work in just about an hour. We discussed the bill and coupon and I paid him via credit card. I later shared emails with Mr. Jim Rapp, the owner of the Precision Garage Door dealership. Mr. Rapp was quite helpful in understanding my concerns over the bill and made a significant effort to make me satisfied. He did so fully!!!

Fantastic work. Gentleman was on time and completely professional. He did the work and was gone in about 90 minutes.

Ryan was low key, knowledgeable, and did not rush us into a decision. We decided to get a complete new door. It's a special size so will take a few weeks to manufacture and install. We put half down, so total price will be about $1100.00.

I bought a $100 Special for new rollers to be installed and the two car door to be tuned up. The door was knocked off the track and the technician suggested I replace the main spring and bearings since they had to come off to get the door back on track. Door is 15 years old so I didn't have a problem with doing so but the price was close to $1000. He gave me two other options, The cheapest being about $600 but recommended the mid grade spring at approximately $800. After I told him to put on the cheapest option he said he would give me the mid grade for the cheapest option price. All together I paid about $700 to have my door put on track and tuned up. I thought that was a little high for about an hours work. Technician was professional and did good work but I would check with other companies before I would rehire this company.
