Very well. The guy who fist came could tell I needed a new garage door opener motor. The best guy came the next day . Very professional and courteous . Work done in under an hour. He even greased the garage door opener cables. Great job!

The garage doors are all working beautifully now. The price seems a little high, but the service is excellent. I have used them twice in 5 years, and I will use them again if I have any problems.

Okay, I guess. My garage door sensors were prone to coming loose; I had spliced and re-engaged the wires more than once. Also, I saw a report on the Today Show where most garage door repair people go straight for the sensors and report them defective, as there's obscene markup on those things. Well, I was distracted by work and the guy went straight for the sensors, telling me that was my problem (the garage door wouldn't close unless you held the button). Sorry, he couldn't fix them; he said they needed replacing. Both of them? What are the odds of that? But I was busy making money on the phone and let him have at it. $250 worth, for a couple of plastic parts with LEDs. But I have to give a good review, because they've done stellar work in the past, the door works now, and my own inattentiveness led to me getting beat.

Fine. In particular, Ross (one of the install techs) made the process very thorough. Ross (and Seth) took extra efforts to ensure that the measured doors fit our space and did a great job in installing. Ross even came back a few days later to assist with an unrelated issue with one of our garage door openers. We have used Precision Door for other services over the years and have been very pleased.

The installation went very smooth and done in a very timely and professional manner Ross and Franklin were great and very courteous and professional. The work was done quickly with no sacrifice to work quality The installation looks great and was done in just a few hours, in fact the technicians called and came before the designated time that was previously told to us by phone the day before the installation, which was wonderful. My husband and I will definitely recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door to anyone looking for a very reliable and professional company.

I purchased a deal for keypad installation and a tune-up for my garage door. The technician was thorough with explanations and answered all the questions I had. He did an excellent job!

It was okay. The door is still loud, it bangs when it closes, so I have been thinking of going to someone else. It rattles and it bangs and there screws that I find. I would think twice about using them.

Initial call was very professional and complete and was able to schedule same day service. The technician called twice during the day to give me status on his arrival, so communication was well beyond the norm. Was scheduled to arrive between 4-8pm, actual arrival was about 4:15p. I was given three different options, which varied from $550 to over $1K which kinda concerned me because I only about $1400 for the new door when purchased so to replace some springs it seemed very expensive. However, you get what you pay for and the job was done fast and professionally, and honestly what choice do you have, replacing springs is NOT a DIY project. I would use them again but hopefully not when my car is trapped in the garage so I have more leverage to negotiate a better price.

James arrived on time and gave us a 30 minute warning. When he arrived he survived the job and gave us a detailed price for the job. We showed him a price list form another company and he matched their flat rate prices. There were no up charges after the quote. We opted for the powder coated springs and the price were reasonable. He did the job quickly and cleaned up after he was finished. James also showed a device we could get from Amazon that work with an app on our smart phones. Great job James.

The definition of a great American company. I was referred to Precision Garage Overhead Door Service by a neighbor and they performed better than expected. I placed a call regarding a broken spring/inability to open my garage door and they were at my home within 30 minutes. My technician, Ryan Goodman, was very well educated and detailed what has been happening with my garage door and what I needed to make sure I would no longer have problems for the next 5 years. Ryan was a joy to work with, he performed great work and will be the only person I call in the future for any garage door/opener needs in the future. This company is not the cheapest in town, but you definitely get what you pay for! Great experience. I highly recommend this company for all of your overhead door needs.

This is an update for a review I wrote on 3/16/2016 complaining about the cost of the service provided. Since my review, Precision has gone out of the way to make my situation right. Precision completely satisfied every issue I wrote about and I am 100% satisfied. As a long time customer I will continue to trust this company. Thank you Eric for your professionalism!

Replaced broken spring, all rollers and bearings, bottom strip, hurricane reinforcement and adjustment. Good job,knowledgable and polite technician.

We started with the tune-up and rollers deal from Angie's List, but ended up adding a whole bunch of things to correct an out-of-balance door and a number of other things that we had just lived with over the years that was going to cause our garage door opener to fail. The professionalism and friendliness of the technician was really more than expected.

As a new homeowner, I decided to put a little time and money into making sure all my major house equipment is in good shape from the start, so I purchased a garage door tune up on Angie's list to get off on the right foot. James, my technician, arrived on time and was extremely professional. He inspected, replaced the rollers in my door and put on my garage door shutters (something I've never had before coming from the north). However, he did not replace a couple of screws that were missing in the bottom metal foot piece even though I pointed them out. Apparently, that's part of the weatherstripping tune-up. He also presented a list of additional things that could be fixed on the door and an estimate for each part - including the weatherstripping piece. I knew I was going to get some sort of an upsell pitch (you always do), but this one seemed fairly reasonable. I will hang on to the estimate and call Precision back when the items he pointed out become a problem.

I called around 11:00 and a young man named Keith showed up promptly around 12:00. I asked to be called as he was on his way. He did this. He inspected my problem. The door would not open. A cable had snapped. The opener was making a terrible noise before that happened. He gave me a few options and I chose exactly what I wanted.. When he completed the job on the door, the opener was still making the horrible loud noise. I asked about the door openers. He explained what he had. I chose the one I wanted. He went to his truck returned with the new garage opener and said he could complete the job that same day. He worked constantly from the moment he arrived until the moment he completed the job. He cleaned everything up including some leaves that had blown in from my oak tree. He was very pleasant and did not pressure me into any kind of decision. I knew what I was getting and how much it would cost at all times during the service. Not being pressured is very important to me. The door looks like new and you can barely hear a sound as it operates. I am very satisfied and would recommend this person and his company to anyone.

The installer was onetime, quick, and expert in the issues for my door. I declined to replace the opener due to price. I am satisfied with the work performed.

They showed up promptly as promised and inspected the garage door. This door is so old, I think it may have been the garage door Fred Flintstone used. LOL. In any event, they had no source for the rubber skirt that would 'keep the critters' out.. I completely understand that. I could have, of course, opted for a custom-made skirt, but it would almost be cheaper to replace the door. They suggested that I contact Angie's List for a refund of my money. I did and I was refunded. They followed up their service call with a telephone call to me to find out if there were anything else they could do to help. Very good policy, that, to follow-up, even when nothing but an inspection was done. Would that all commercial entities were as professional and concerned with their customers' satisfaction. Bottom line, I cannot afford to replace the door as yet, but when I am ready to do that, this is the provider I will call. I love dealing with people who put my satisfaction into a very high priority. This is my second review because I did not know that if I did not indicate my level of satisfaction on each item, it would revert to a "C". A "C" is not descriptive of this company. They are aces !

Garage doors are generally the last thing we think about repairing in our homes, but when I started hearing noises that were out of the ordinary I decided to have mine checked. I knew the rollers were getting bad so I bought the Angie's list deal for $89. Precision was quick to respond and set up an appt. They were on time and gave me an estimate on other work I should have done. I agreed and about 3 hours later my garage door was working much better. About a month had passed and I noticed the door didn't seem as quiet as it had been. I called Precision and they sent another tech out who diagnosed the problem and made the repair at no charge. I have been very pleased thus far.

On time. Very efficient and tidy. All went smoothly and voila a new vinyl bottom gasket of the garage door to keep the little critters out!

They were here in August. It cost a little bit more because I had my sprockets, I had a complete double garage spring replaced. The sprocket spring gears and everything were replaced on one of the garage doors. It was more but I was okay with the increase in cost.
