Quoted price. Came within a couple of days. Work completed in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend!

I was able to get a same day appointment. They were able to schedule for after work, which was nice. The serviceman called to let me know how far out he was at the beginning of the appointment window. When he got there he was very professional and gave me all my options. He did the work quickly and was a pleasure to be around. I also got a keypad installed. I would definitely recommend and use again.

He did a marvelous job. I found them through Angie's List. The young man did a very good job. For price, I remember I went with him because he was so reasonable. I had no problems with anything like quality. He was on time.

Perfect. I called on a Thursday, they estimated the job on Friday, and installed on Tuesday. Everyone in the process was a complete professional. I had two other companies bid on the job and none of them were in the same class as Precision. Not too mention all bid $400 to $600 higher.

The door is much quieter now thanks to their maintenance person.

We called to schedule after purchasing an Angie's List offer. The scheduler was able to get us scheduled the same day even though we weren't in a hurry. Matt came out to do the tune up and rollers but noted that the springs were starting to get worn and that the old garage door opener was straining to pull up the door. He said we could wait on the additional work since everything was working but we decided to replace the opener, springs and door seal at that time as well as another part my husband wanted to replace. Matt was very personable and helpful. He was not trying to pressure us to repair more items but seemed very honest in his explanation of what could happen at some point. We'll definitely contact Precision again in the future if we need them.

I've been using Precision for years, and they never let me down. This time, in addition to the routine maintenance (which included spring adjustment, replacing rollers, inspection, etc.), they discovered that I had a problem with the door not opening consistently. They told me I needed new sensors. That added $150 to the bill. Knowing what sensors cost, I thought that was exorbitant, and I told them so. I also explained this in a previous review to Angie's List. Precision called me a few days later and refunded half of that extra cost. In my opinion, that is an extraordinary response by a service provider, and speaks highly of Precision's commitment to service. Unfortunately, Angie's List doesn't allow amending a review after it's written, to highlight a service provider's follow-up. So I'm writing this new review instead.

I wish I could give Precision Overhead Garage Door an A+. Jeremy was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done for my garage door to work properly. I had an unsatisfactory experience with another Garage Door company earlier that week and a neighbor recommended Precision. He called about 20 minutes before arrival, completed the job timely and did an excellent job.

Repair proceeded smoothly and quickly without any problems. The entire staff is professional and courteous and communications were wonderful and quite a surprise for Florida

Frank, their employee and estimator, wrote a contract for a replacement double-wide door. I specifically asked for their 'special,' one with the minimum impact resistance required for my location in St. Petersburg. He called his boss. He wrote me up for a 199-mph. door for the price of $1,129. I said, "Wait a minute. You have your advertised special for $749." He said, "No, you can't have that door. You have to have a 199-mph. door." I checked with the St. Petersburg Building & Permitting Dept. to find that, no, I only needed a 149-mph. door. He knew that; his boss knew that. They deliberately tried to scam me because I am a 60+ female and thought I wouldn't know or bother to find out. These people cheat older clients and they cheat women. I would never do business with them. I got another company to install the door at that sale price of $749. Frank also violated my privacy by taking photographs inside my closed garage without permission; this is a clear violation of the Castle Doctrine of common law throughout the United States: You have a reasonable expectation of privacy in your own home.

The did an excellent job. They showed up on time, gave me multiple options, with no pressure and then did the repairs quickly. The door operates now better than it ever has in the 15 years I have owned they home.

The technician arrived at the scheduled time, called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. Once he took a look at the work that needed to be done, he told me what was needed and told me a price. However, a paper copy of a work order was never supplied, therefore I had no idea what was involved with the cost of the repair. I had to go to work that afternoon, so I really needed the work done. I had called another garage door service the same time I had called Precision, but they didn't have anyone available until the day after Precision said they would come out. Tom, the technician, completed the work in the amount of time he said it would take to complete, took down the wrong email address which I didn't know he goofed up, and said my invoice would come in my email. I had to call the company to get the invoice sent to the correct email address. While I had the lady on the phone, I told her I didn't like that a paper work order/estimate wasn't supplied and all things explained ahead of time, before I agreed to the repair. Looking at the invoice that was finally sent, I feel that I have been grossly overcharged. I'll think twice, at least, before ever hiring them again.

Although the original appointment was rescheduled, the technician, Michael, contacted me earlier in the day to confirm the appointment and the estimated arrival time. He confirmed the arrival time with a follow up call and arrived promptly as promised. Michael was professional and pleasant. Easy to talk to interested on how he could do his best for us. He was so courteous and always pleasant. There was no additional or surprise costs as I experience with another local installer. I would recommend Precision over all other Garage Door services in the area.

Craig their repair person was very professional and knowledgeable. He let me know what I needed to replace now and what could wait. He explained everything he did and how it all worked. I would definitely recommend and use this company again when it comes time to replace/repair other parts of my garage door.

The repairman showed up as scheduled. He told me the garage door needed a tortion spring, 3 bearings, logic board, and capacitor. The quoted price was $682. I decided to get a second opinion from Overhead Door of Tampa Bay. The representative was punctual. He filed the corroded electrical contacts and that corrected the problem.

It went very well. they were very nice. The girl in the office was miserable but the people who came out was nice.
