Description of Work: Purchased the Big Deal to get my garage doors a"Tune-Up". Once the service man from Precision Garage Doors arrived, we talked & I decided to replace the doors, rails, etc. I decided to put the money towards new doors, which I had been thinking about. I now need the refund since buying new garage doors.

Description of Work: We bought a "deal of the week" on Angies's list for replacement of a garage door opener When I called Precision Doors ,they offered to come the same day to install the new opener ! The person who came ,was a very professional guy,who spent some time trying to fix the old opener so that we did not have to spend money installing a new one.Only after making absolutely sure that the old one was beyond repair ,did he install the new one.this was done professionally . we were very pleased with the service especially the integrity and honesty of the installer to make the sure that the customer got a fair deal( unheard of these days!) Another great experience for using an Angies's list provider I would nominate Precision Doors for a page of happiness spot

Description of Work: I had the Big Deal $89 service with inspection and roller replacement. The repair person was on time, friendly and knowledgable. During the inspection, he discovered that the springs on the door were about to give out, and, for an extra $316 (which I felt was very reasonable) replaced the springs at the same time. I highly recommend this company.

The whole company from the women who answered the phone to the guy that came out and did the install were polite and explained all the details. The only frustration was that we needed up having to have additional parts replaced that we have not anticipated which costed.more then expected. I would use the again

Description of Work: The tech did a good job for what we called him on. However, he recommended that we replace the rollers on both doors and when I said I would rather wait, he informed me that because he recommended it at this visit, I would have to pay a certain higher fee if I called them out to do that particular job. I don't like that sort of sales pressure so I guess if I need to replace the rollers, I'll call someone else.

Description of Work: My garage door opener didn't work because the rail was twisted. I thought all I needed was a rail with all attachments but Ben the technician said I also needed a new motor. 20/20 hindsight, I think he took me for a ride. I found out that they do not carry Genie which I had and also on my other two door openers.I have three garage doors. I asked Ben to program my other doors into the opener and was told they are under a different frequency. Too late, work was already done. Come payment time, I was informed that it was a 2 1/2 % surcharge if I used the credit card. I just noticed that I was charged $20.00 fuel charge and they advertised NO service fee. Description of Work: Replaced single garage door. They had to do reframing for the door to make it meet code for hurricane proof door and install new door and opener. They were professional and did exactly what they said they would do and when they would do it.

Description of Work: I called Sunday AM, and the salesman came out Sunday 3:00 PM. The window was 12:30 - 2:30, he called at 2:30 to tell me he was late. He explained the options available for garage door and opener, showed me a sample, etc... Was very knowledgable and friendly with no sales pressure. After he left, I checked information on-line and was satisified with the product offered and the price. I called back that evening to place the order. A manager called Monday 8:00 AM to confirm, and by Tuesday 9:00 AM the installer was here. He was polite, and professional in behavior and appearance. Did a good job reviewing the entire system and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. They even pulled the permit, and the County will come out Thursday to inspect. I do not anticipate any problems. The garage door & opener are everything I was promised.

Description of Work: Our garage door would not work. They came out and performed a pricey maintenance that only fully resolved the issue for a few months. When I called them back to try to get them to resolve a recurrence of the issue, they were very difficult to schedule and communicate with. I had to get the door working myself in the end. The initial work appeared acceptable if pricey, but the follow-up was not acceptable.

Description of Work: A SPRING WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN FOR A TWO-CAR GARAGE. HE TRIED TO SELL ME MORE THAN HE SHOULD HAVE. MAKE SURE YOU GET AN ESTIMATE. BUYER BEWARE BUT THEY DID DO A GOOD JOB. I FORGOT THE PRICE BUT I REMEMBER IT BEING UNFAIR.
