Precision Overhead Garage Door

Good. They tried to sell me some services I didn't need. I did not purchase.

4 phone calls and lodging a complaint, we finally received the quote, for the wrong door.

Even though our garage door opener decided to quit working at 5:00 am dealing with Precision was a nice change of pace. I called the 24/7 number at 5:30am and was scheduled for a same day appt. between 10 and Noon. The gentleman on the phone explained that the techs always carry a variety of openers with them so there would be no problem with a replacement. Then at 7:30 am we received a call from the office confirming our appt. and verifying exactly what we needed. The extra surprise was that she asked if we wanted an earlier appt....of course. If that didn't go well enough at 8:00 am we received a call from our technician Jeremy W. who took the time to listen as to what our problem was and the fact that we have a hurricane garage door which is heavier than most. He suggested that he would bring the models that would best suit our needs. Jeremy arrived exactly on time and went into details about the units he brought along. When we made our decision he went to work. Not only did he install the new opener but he also tuned our door springs so they work better and quieter with our new unit. Before he left he explained on exactly how the unit worked and even took the time to show us how to disconnect the door from the unit in case we ever needed to. From the office staff to Jeremy one couldn't ask for better service. We will always use Precision for any future needs.

The technician was everything we were looking for and more - professional, friendly, polite, knowledgeable, helpful with information we asked about, did the job quickly and thoroughly and even helped with the garage door openers we were having trouble with as well. Our technician was Keith Anderson and we will always request that he does any future work as well.

Great communication from Precision. They were scheduled between 8-12pm and John called ahead of time, arrived on time and was thorough in his assessment of what needed to be done. I knew our garage tune-up was long overdue so I wasn't surprised with what he suggested needed done. He didn't pressure us at all; just educated us and let us make the decision. We had the work done and within a little over an hour it was like having a new garage door - what a difference getting new parts/maintenance does. Very happy with their work. Thanks!

We were told that we needed to replace several other parts to the garage door. It was quoted to be around $1700.00. We called another few places who quoted us much less. When the gentleman came back and wanted the job, we explained to him that we just wanted the garage door motor fixed and he quickly quoted us about $800. He also said that there was a fee for coming out to give us an estimate but he would waive that fee. I have never heard of any business charging a customer for an estimate! And no one told us there would be a fee to come out to give us a quote. I am happy that they did not hold us to a fee we knew nothing about!

Perfect. Great response, flexible on times, great service first from Richard who thought he was replacing the door so here for an estimate, recommended repair instead so Jeremy came and did a wonderful job in record time. Both very professional and great to work with. Couldn't be happier!

The communication was great. Confirmation of the appointment was provided along with pictures of what the tech would look like. He was on time. Initially he performed the services for our call. Additionally we decided to get new main springs and safety sensors. He completed everything in a timely manner. Our garage door now operates smoothly and is much quieter than before.

Technician Matthew Cipolla arrived exactly on time, performed the service and billed us fairly. And what a nice guy!

I experienced first hand why they are an A rated company. I hired them because of the good reviews. I did some research online and thought I needed a small repair to my garage door. When the tech arrived he said it was a much bigger repair job than what I was expecting. I went ahead with the repair but afterwards was really wishing I had gotten a couple other estimates. The company emailed me asking if I was happy with the work. I said no but that it was my fault not theirs. I explained I was having a lot of buyers remorse because I did not obtain other estimates to assure myself that such a major repair was really needed. At the end of the form it asked if you wanted the company to contact you. I said they were free to contact me but I didn't know what they could do since the work was already done and it was my fault not theirs. Within minutes of me sending back the form a company representative called. We talked for a while, she said she totally understood where I was coming from and then she practically insisted on offering me an incentive so that I could feel good about my choice to have them do the work. Wow! How often does that happen these days. I hope I don't need anymore repairs on my garage but if I do they are the definitely the ones I will call.

What a great experience. My salesman Kevin was great and the gentleman who installed my door was just as professional. I am thrilled that I chose this company to install my new door and door opener.

When they came out to fix the garage door, they were prepared to give us an estimate for repairing & replacement. We knew it would probably have to be replaced since the door framework was broken in places & the door itself was starting to rip on the sides. The new door is great. They replaced everything for a reasonable price and made sure we knew how to work it before they left.

The custom door I had ordered arrived from their supplier damaged. The office called the day before the install to inform me and present me with options. I opted to install a place holder door until the damaged door panel could be replaced. The employee who called was extremely regretful for the situation but assured me that everything would be made right. They made good on that promise. They discounted the door for the trouble and scheduled the installation of the door I had ordered within hours of its final arrival. The installers were professional, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and left their work area cleaner than they found it. I had the same crew on both occasions and was happy to learn both gentlemen had served in the armed services. Being a vet, it's nice to do business with a company that hires other vets. I had gotten estimates from two other companies, one of which claimed to be "discount" and Precision offered the most options, the best price and came across with the utmost professionalism. I can't speak highly enough about this company, their products, employees and their performance.

The serviceman called ahead and arrived within the designated time window. He was professional and accomplished the programming and repairs efficiently.

Good, professional. It was really pricey, so I didn’t take them. If I had to replace my garage, I would go through them. On time, they have no fluff, they tell me the truth, tells me what I need to do. It took about an hour and a half to two hours.

We still had a warranty on the garage door, so it didn't cost us that much. It took them less than an hour to repair the garage door.

Jeremy arrived promptly at the agreed time and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. The garage door was a loud, creaky mess when he arrived but was running quietly and smoothly when he left. I will definitely use this service again when the need arises.

They came out right away to fix the doors.

When the guy was out there were certain things that he saw that I knew that I was questioning myself about and I just told him to go ahead and repair it and he was great. The price was great, the service was great and I thought they were great people. The work was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up after themselves.

Technician was excellent. Did all work in a very professional, competent manner. Sad when he began a hard sell for additional work. Prices were very high. Each repair was a predetermined set price. Recommended 4 different additional repairs. Found out that each price included labor for a new service call. There was no discount for having them done together. So you were paying for 4 service calls plus parts if you had them all done at once. Had the cables replaced for $110. Found out that the service techs are paid 18% of what ever they sell. Sorry to see a great job turned into a hard sell experience. Had a different problem a week later. Called Banko Overhead Doors. They had a $75 service charge that included an hour of labor. Paid $75 plus parts and saved myself a great deal of money compared to Precision. Would highly recommend Banko.
