Precision Overhead Garage Door

They were pretty good. Their price is comparable but what I didn't like was when he showed up, he tried to sell me all kinds of things. I had a broken spring on the garage door. He tried to get me to change my rollers and bearings. I gave in on some and held off on others. They weren't bad, they just tried to charge me more than I needed at the moment. I had them come back to re balance the door and they came back to do that.

Could not have asked for anything more. Tech arrived on time, knew what needed replacement/repair and had all the parts on the truck! Bob and Joe did a great job, were knowledgeable, professional, and neat! Very pleased would recommend the company!

We didn't have them do any work. They came and their price was ridiculously high, I didn't let him do any work. We hired someone else. I got it done for a $1000, and they did a good job. It was a ridiculous price. I said, you have to leave, and he did. We didn't have an experience, he didn't do the work. The price was ridiculous. I don't know about the quality, these questions don't apply. He didn't do anything. He came very quickly. That is as far as it goes. He was right on time. I didn't hire him, because his price was too high. That is all I can say.

They did a good job. Precision was more expensive. The gentleman showed up on time and was very professional, but did advise that multiple parts needed to be replaced in order to fix the door. I had a different company come out and fix a different garage door with the same problems and was older… the other company actually repaired the existing parts instead of replacing them and ultimately costs half the price.

The tech was nice but i feel deceived. I wasn't home when they came so my wife was dealing with it. I would have paid them their fee and sent them on. The website advertises The Springs to be changed for $245- by the time he uphold my wife, added a couple things here and there my bill was $734. The work had been done so what am I to do? I paid them. I asked the difference between the Springs and he said the life of the Springs. Whatever. I feel the company used a bait & switch on us because I wasn't home. I believe the work they did will be fine but what a kick in the gut to have a bill tripled from what you were led to believe.

Our garage door went on the fritz and so I called Precision because of their reviews. They showed up on time and quickly access that it needed replacing. The explained to us what was happening and where it was failing. They quoted us a for a replacement as well as for repairing the old one. Despite the repair quote being quite a bit lower, we opted to replace it altogether. They quickly changed everything out and then took them time to help us set up the factory installed door opener in our car and go over the controls. Very thorough and professional

Jimmy Johnson arrived on time after a courtesy phone call from 30 minutes out. He was extremely proffessional and explained all our options to us. He showed us what was wrong and how to take care of the equipment. He was a very kind patient service personnel and a huge credit to the company. He completed his work in a timely and clean fashion in exceptional heat. We will be recommending this company along with Jimmy Johnson. Thank you again for your fast response.

All went well and they followed-up on the first job and gave us financial consideration on our second door. We were very pleased with their meeting our requirements at no additional fee after our disappointment with our first visit.

thework was done. It was extremely expensive--$1,035--for a partial repair of the door--roller, ball bearings, and general maintenance.. We needed to have the handles fixed on both doors and we were told the bearings on the 2nd door needed to be replaced, but we did not due that because it was going to add several hundred dollars more.

This is second time we have used Bryan Stewart and it won't be our last. He is so professional and always takes the time to listen to your request and explain anything you need to know. Not only did he take care of our opener (which was covered under warranty) but in replacing the seal noticed that our cable were becoming frayed. Instead of waiting and have him come back he took care of the problem immediately. Great Service Bryan!

This review is for the Lutz location 813-948-7379. Technician Bryan Stewart arrived promptly, outlined all of my options, quoted the price upfront and did a great job. The work took about two hours. He had all of the parts on his truck. Would highly recommend Precision.

Both the salesperson and the installer were courteous and professional. It was a good experience.

The woman that I talked to handled it well, and they gave me my money back on the first experience. I called them again this weekend, and he was really nice. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and was quick to repair the control panel. They lowered their price by $75 based on another quote. I would use them again if I can get James to come out. I had to average out the bad experience with the good on my grades. Without the first experience, I would have given James straight A's.

They arrived an hour before the scheduled time and replaced the spring. Had the spring on their truck and got the door repaired on a Sunday morning of a 3 day holiday weekend. Very efficient and the tech could not have been nicer.

This is a follow up to review from 5/10/17. Was contacted by a manager who assessed the job and completed the work to my satisfaction. He was very prompt with good follow through and communication. Very happy with results now.

So impressed. Called on Sat. and told me when their service rep would be here.. Within 2 hours. Next received an email confirmation and also saying their people have uniforms, show up in a labeled truck and also a picture of who will be here. All for safety concerns. Never have seen this before and a huge plus. Jordan was very personable and fixed the problem. Also told us what will be needed in the future. Will definitely call again.

The technician was prompt. He performed the tune up and indicated that some parts needed to be replaced, including the springs. He wrote 3 different price quotes on a piece of paper for parts of differing quality. The total cost was going to be approximately $500 - $550. I don't know the exact cost or exactly what parts he was going to replace. This is because when I didn't agree to have him fix it on the spot, he refused to give me the piece of paper with the quotes. I think he was concerned that I would get other quotes from other vendors. He also told me that it was likely that the springs would break within a week. That seemed odd since the door has been working fine for years, with no changes to its behavior. From what I've read online, it's hard to know exactly when garage door springs are going to break. The price seemed high, but it's hard for me to know since he wouldn't give me the written quote. I feel as though part of the service that I paid for was to inspect the garage door, and that if he had specific recommendations, then he should give them to me.

The employees were puntual,considerate to our needs,very professional in sticking to or going above code. The removed the old doors and left my garage clean.
