He was right on time as promised, handled everything with expertise. Very personable and completed replacing rollers, stripping,cleaning tracks within 1 hour. The doors now slide like glass. Very, very pleased and would definitely recommend him. Price was exactly as quoted,, which in my mind was reasonable,

The sliding door to the balcony facing the gulf at a beach condo would not budge. I suspected the rollers were flat and needed replacement. We called Steve Monday. He was able to work us in on Wednesday in advance of the 4th of July long weekend. He was here exactly as scheduled at 8:30 am. He inspected the door and found that it had come off the track. He simply placed it back on track and it worked fine. He could have suggested replaced the rollers (to make some more money while he was here, having scheduled his time in anticipation of doing so), but didn't do it. He worked on the locks on both doors to get them functioning and retracked the screen doors. He told us when we called on Monday that the trip fee was $80, plus labor and materials. Having done all he did, he only charged the trip fee + $10 for labor. Steve surpassed our expectations with his courtesy, professionalism and honesty.

Good man. Excellent service. Completed work and had all parts with him. It took a few days longer than I had hoped, but he instructed me how to stay safe in the meantime. Also, I know he is honorable because he play's golf, the only sport wher the golfer calls a penalty on him/her self!

He showed up a few minutes early and worked very efficiently. He is very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job.

Great experience. Steve was punctual and professional. Honestly, I think it's a miracle that my sliders are like new. I had resigned myself to having to get new ones installed (yet another surprise from the previous owner's DIY). Not so. Steve performed his magic and I can actually get out to the patio without a major struggle now. Hire him!

Did a great job - gave me the price over the phone and that is exactly what he charged. Got me scheduled within a few days and even showed up early (called first though to make sure it was okay). We thought we were going to have to replace the sliding door which would have been about a $1k instead we spent $130 and it works like brand new!! My only regret is that we didn't call him sooner!

This was the best $160 I have ever spent! After struggling to open my sliding glass doors for years, i now can open them with two fingers. The men that came out were punctual, professional, polite, and were done within a short amount of time. Would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

Steve was excellent to deal with - very professional, confident, and competent. He got the job done fine, even with our old beaten-up doors. They operate fine now and we are very pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again. When we first called him, he had an opening not too far in the future, and then when I called him back a few hours later, he was booked out a few weeks! So his schedule fills up fast, but he's worth the wait.

I thought he is consciencious. He is very professional and I don't think he leaves the job without it being completed to his standards, like it would be his own home. I would highly recommend him.

Great experience with Steve...he showed up exactly as scheduled and went right to work. After looking at the doors, he explained exactly what he needed to do, and got right to it. His estimates for time & cost were right on the money (actually he got it done a little bit faster than he estimated.) The doors all slide easily now -- like new doors. All 3 lock easily now. We couldn't be more pleased --access to our balcony is easy now. Would not hesitate to recommend Steve Leonard's service -- he knows what he's doing, and he does it quickly and well.

When I told Patio Door Repair that I had found them on Angie's List he gave me a discount. I had read that he was gruff and he was not. He was very pleasant. He did such a good job and his price was extremely reasonable. When he left, he said "it was really nice talking to you to day." He was just professional. He came very quickly. He called before he came. I was very impressed by him. He came in and brought all of his stuff in with him. He got to work right away. He had it done with in 30 minutes. He was able to give us the estimate over the phone. He knew right away what was wrong with it.

As usual, I found Steve on Angie's list after checking for service people in my area and reading the reviews. Gave him a call and he quoted and scheduled the repair right away for his first available opening. On the day of the reapir, he called to let me know he was running ahead of schedule and asked if it would be okay for him to show up early, which (of course) it was. He arrived on time and went straight to work. He explained the problem and the repair. He moved all the patio furniture out of the way, wiped his feet every time he came inside, and cleaned up everything when he was done. You couldn't even tell he had been there except the door now worked. He also mentioned that he carries 43 different rollers on his truck - and that they were higher quality than I could obtain on my own through any home repair store. I would certainly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a fairly priced and done right patio door repair.

I called a week ago to see about get an estimate on having the rollers replaced on a sliding glass door that had become very difficult to open. Steve, the owner, gave me a quote over the phone, and offered me a choice of several different appointment times over the next week. I made an appointment for 10:30am on the following Friday. This morning Steve called at 9:45am saying he was running ahead of schedule and asked if it would be ok to come early. I told him that would be fine, and he showed up as promised about 15 minutes later. When he came into the house he already had his tools and parts and was ready to go to work. He had the rollers replaced in about 30 minutes time, and proceeded to file down the track where the old rollers had done some damage over the last couple of years. He then vacuumed out the track and adjusted the door height so that the lock worked perfectly. Total time from start to finish was probably just over an hour, and the door now works great! Punctual and professional, a pleasure to do business with!

Very pleasant experience. He showed up on time, with all the proper tools and did a great job of repair. Sorry I did not call him sooner. I will use him again any time I have a problem with the patio doors.

Fine experience----doors had to be made for opening of nonstandard size. Quality of replacements is excellent and we are now having another door made for a different area (rollers were shot and old one also did not fit properly, and Steve saw what was wrong. He is very meticulous. Doors were delivered at the time promised, and they fit and work perfectly.

Steve gave estimate over the phone. Arrived on time. Very clean and professional. Door was fixed and working in under 30 mins.

Steve was friendly, courteous, and efficient. He arrived right on time, replaced the rollers on the sliding glass door, cleaned and adjusted the track and made sure it was level. The door now works better than ever. Very courteous and professional - would not hesitate to recommend (and we'll be calling him in the future when the other doors get worse!).

Steve called to see if he could come 30 min earlier because he was ahead of schedule. Excellent! He is sole owner and does all repairs himself. He is conscientious, knowledgeable and service oriented. Because he was having trouble with the older door adjustment, he provided a solution at no additional charge. I was impressed with his ability to make my doors slide like they were brand new and would highly recommend him. I used another sliding door repair company listed on Angies list last year and they did not install quality rollers like Steve.

When I called I dealt direct with the owner. He explained his service and fees. We set an appointment. He showed up exactly on time. He repaired the rollers on our patio doors. He did only what was required and did it timely and kept area clean. Cleaned up area well when he completed. I like Patio Door repair since they do not sell doors. There interest is not in replacing doors but in repairing what you have.

Set up an appointment for Friday morning. The owner arrived in a van with parts. He removed the door and took off the bottom of the door frame. Replaced the 2 cheap worn rollers with better quality rollers he had in stock in his van. Cleaned the door track, filed smooth some of the ridges in the track and vacuumed the track clean. The track is aluminum and the door rollers are steel. Fortunately, the track was not worn too bad. If the track had been too worn, he had a metal strip that could be clipped on top of the old track. It would have cost about $50 more to install the replacement track clip. He reinstalled the door and adjusted the rollers for to get the door to roll smoothly. The whole job took about 30 minutes. Breakdown of costs: trip charge - $70, parts - $20 ($10/ roller) , labor - $30.

Steve answered his phone the very first time I called and my answers to his questions made it clear that my vinyl slider could probably not be salvaged. He arrived promptly to look at the job and quickly assured me that a replacement was my only option even though that is not a service he provides. He was professional, honest, and he charged me nothing for the visit. I would absolutely recommend him based on my experience.

It went wonderfully. I had written down our appt. for 4/23 and he had it for 4/16 @ 11:30 so when he called at 11am on the 16th, I wasn't dressed yet so he waited patiently for me to call him. What made it worse is that the Wednesday before, our 80 gal water heater went out & I had to rush around and wash up and wash hair. Steve was very understanding and polite at my goofing up the appointment, as usual! He's a really nice guy and VERY honest!! Call Steve for any of your patio door needs - he's just so honest and professional!! There aren't many people like him around these days!
