Midway started at 1:00PM and was done by 4:00PM. After they left, one could not tell that they were there. They put everything back the way it was before they came. Very professional. I have an estimate from them for a new central A/C. Again their price was about 10% higher than other estimates. However, they use quality products and their installers know what needs to be done and do not try to sell other products. I cannot say that about other companies. Therefore, if one is looking for quality job and a qualify product they should be considered.

We didn't take them because they were so astronomically high. I got three different quotes from them and I was floored on each on of them. For a 14 SEER, 2 ton AC including entire duct work, they quoted $7900. For a 15.25 SEER, 2 ton, they quoted $8925. For a 15 SEER, 2 ton split system, they quoted $10,000. They were pretty professional and they seemed like they were telling us exactly what they were going to do. They told they would do the refurbishing work and electrical work because of the air conditioning and they told that they were even not going to charge for the electrical work. They took 2 weeks to get back to us and give the quote.

The experience was about average. The installer put a big hole in my ceiling in the garage. It took them about three weeks to fix it, because he kept denying that he did it. The A/C unit they put in was good. I was in a big rush, because my other A/C unit was going completely bad. They showed up on time. I had an inspector out to put pressure on them to fix the hole.

They were very honest. I almost got ripped off by someone else; they gave me a quote that was one-third of what the other provider tried to charge me. I have not actually inspected what they have done or anything like that, but the work seems to be good. Their professionalism, punctuality and friendliness were very good. Their price seemed reasonable. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I selected the smaller, local company.

They did a wonderful job. I got a heat pump so it was a little more and I got a rebate back. I paid a little over $9000 but I got a $1000 rebate back out of that plus I got an energy tax credit as well for $1500. That was good plus I could save on the air conditioning as well. I've got the higher Seer rating you could buy and that will save you 25% or more on the electric bill. They did a very good job and I was really impressed about with it. The people that Angie's List have on the program are really good people and they do the job correctly and it's a win-win situation for everybody.

Halloween night we were getting ready for bed and had our toilets back up with some water coming up in both tubs as well. First time this happened for us in our new house so we were very concerned. Needed problem diagnosed and fixed, preferrably before we went to bed so we could use our bathrooms in the morning. When we called Midway they said it would less expensive to wait until morning since it was after 11PM on a Sunday/Holiday night. We preferred to have someone come out that night and they said no problem. Stuart arrived just before Midnight. Once we explained the problem he knew exactly what the issue was and gave us an estimate to clear a bockage in our main line. There was a $100.00 diagnostic fee which they waived. He snaked out the line from an access behind our house and within a short time had it cleared. He couldn't find what was blocking it but suspected tree roots from a large oak tree nearby. He said it if happens again they can come back and run a camera to verify. It's been several months since then and it still works fine.

I pay yearly for air conditioner maintenance. The routine checkups have been great. The guys have been professional and I am very satisfied with them. I had a really bad experience when the air conditioner was installed. They eventually rectified the whole thing. It was my understanding that the two guys that installed the air conditioner have been moved out of installations after they put mine in. They have been put in industrial installment where they have supervisors over them. I stuck with the company. The two guys that put mine in had no idea what they were doing and they actually lied to me and said they had been doing it for nine years as a team together. It was just incredible. They didn't put the heater in and there were so many mistakes and things left out. The inspector failed it. The experienced installer they sent after that was a great guy and knew what he was doing. He even found stuff the inspector didn't write down. He said he believed the inspector got tired and quit writing. It was an awful experience. They left a hole in the ceiling that they didn't cover up. It did take a long, long time for them to send out a ceiling repair guy. I stuck with them because the next people that came out were good and I haven't had any more problems with them. I did cancel repeatedly because of my work situation and I frustrated the person that was trying to do the scheduling. I had to schedule numerous times. I felt partly responsible that they were slow in getting it done, but I had to beg for them to get the ceiling repaired. I did not put that off. The company did eventually get everything corrected and I get regular service from them now. I would recommend that anyone look around. I didn?t get a lot of estimates. I have continued to use them and I am happy with them.

Needed two toilets that were running repaired and two hose bibbs replaced. Was told that the diagnostic fee of $39 would be waived. Estimate stated the flappers on toilets would be replaced for $35 each and hose bibbs with levers and stainless steel b**** would be installed for $127.50 each. Declined this estimate. Came back with $127.50 for both bibbs. Accepted this one. After work was completed, plumber stated that toilet #1 was adjusted (no price adjustment) and toilet #2 fill-valve replaced. Hose bibbs were replaced with same $8 bibbs that were on there with no price adjustment. Plumber was polite and personable; however, he never went back to toilet #1 after assessing problem for estimate (lid was still off from initial assessment after job was finished). Although I paid for the work, I was very disappointed in the results. I called the company the same day to see if something could be worked out. I was told the service manager would return my call the next day but never heard from them. The cost of the work based on what was done seems excessive and along the lines of price-gouging to me.

He was excellent. He came out right away. He fixed it and it is no longer leaking. He didn't charge for fixing the other faucet and he didn't have the right part for that so he called their office and they sent somebody out with the proper part. He didn't charge any extra for that work. He didn't do any damage to the fiberglass shower. He arrived five minutes early.

It turned out well. They were very good and I would use them again.

He arrived on time, checked out my questions/problems, explained to me what needed to be done and what didn't, replaced the drain, and checked the drain pipes in the adjoining room.

We discovered a small leak on the copper tube leading to the water softener. The water to the house needed to be turned off. When I called Midway at 1 pm they told me they would be there by 4:30 and would call 30 minutes prior. They were able to get there by 3 pm and did call prior to arriving. AJ was professional and explained everything he did. He offered suggestions on how to prevent some leaks. He told me an hour, and he only took an hour. AJ was professional all the way.

They were great. They came quickly and seemed to do an honest job. They were also reasonably priced. The water water is still working well.

They are very prompt. Very knowlegeable plumber and he did high quality work. I have used them before and they have redone my whole house.

I THINK IT WENT FINE. I WAS TRYING TO SEE IF THEY WOULD REPLACE IT WITH A QUICK HEAT REPLACEMENT BUT IT COST TO MUCH. THE PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE AND COURTEOUS.

They were very professional and they did what they said they would do. They were also very thorough about everything. I would recommend them to anyone.

They came in and spent maybe 15-20 minutes outside at the AC and then they came in trying to sell me a new AC every time they would come. 90% of the time was spend with them trying to sell me a new AC. Then they charged me $500 for one item I needed. The next visit another worker asked how much they charged me for the part and when I told him the price, he couldn't believe it. I'm a senior citizen and I feel they have taken advantage of me and I have considered going to the police about them.

The guy that they sent out the second time was a guy I really liked. He was very practical. On the next visits I asked for him by name because I liked him so much. We were so impressed with the service we got from this guy that we signed up for a program where they do a full inspection of your air conditioners twice a year.

In the morning, my tenant informed me that he had no hot water. I checked Angie's List, found Midway Plumbing, made the call, and before the day was done, my tenant had a brand new replacement water heater as well as a big smile on his face! The installer was prompt, courteous, and thorough, and the price for Midway's work was reasonable. I would recommend them anytime.

I was in the middle of upgrading both of my bath rooms. I had to reconfigure the shower valve in the master bathroom so I had Midway reconfigure the shower valve. And before retiling the shower flooring I had them install another drain. The technician gave a quote of 421 to do that job. I then decide to get new tub install in the other bathroom which he quote me with 621 dollars. He said that I could save more if I purchase the plumbing service yearly service of 39.99. I agreed with the quote and had him do the work. About 6 hours later, he gave me a bill of 1200.00 and I supposedly saved 115.00. I was extremely tired that day and did not check the detail, so I went ahead and paid him and later that evening after looking at the bill, realized that I've been taken advantage of. He did minimal work as far I am concern because the faucet and spout for both bathroom are still not installed and did not clean up his garbage.

They had to come back multiple times to repair our air conditioner. They didn't always call us back, and when the repair person showed up, they were never able to fix the initial problem. They also had to install an evaporated coil twice and we really felt they were ignoring the problems we were having with our unit. Our A/C still doesn't work and we will be going with a new company.

Excellent work and training from contractor to know what to look for in the future.

They did a really nice job. He was careful and cleaned up after himself. He was very friendly.

We were told to be there at 8 AM sharp but unfortunately the tech did not arrive until 8:25. He did call to say he would be there by 10 after 8 although he ended up missing that time as well (we have a 6 month old and live 25 minutes away from the site and still managed to make it on time!) When he got there he was very abrupt and extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. I had already decided before he even gave the estimate I would only have him do the bare minimum and then I would call someone else for the rest. He walked around, gave his estimates, asked what we wanted done, and then proceeded to do the work. As he encountered an additional problem with the sink he checked with us on the cost and then once again proceeded. When he was done he collected his check and was on his way. Good riddance!
