Inspectograff uncovered many nickle/dime issues requiring a fix but more importantly, he found several major areas requiring a fix and so much so that we decided not to pursue with the contract to buy. If he had not done such an outstanding job, we may have found ourselves in a house requiring very costly repairs.

It went extremely well. He was prompt, he described what he would be doing, he spent over 2 hours on the inspection. He did not appear to be rushed and answered any questions that I had and provided some great suggestions. He found all deficiencies and made suggestions as to how they should be addressed and by whom. My sister and her husband attended along with the realtor and myself. My brother in law said that this inspection was 100% more thorough than the one they had on their home. He tried all appliances and all systems. His report was easy to read with plenty of clear annotated photos. A really excellent job. I would refer him to anyone who needed an inspection.

Stephen is a true professional. He performs all of this services thoroughly and has a great level of skill in his profession. Since a home can likely be the most expensive investment a family makes, choosing the right home inspector can be critical. Not only is he a licensed home inspector but also a licensed contractor with experience in building regulations which is invaluable

They were fantastic! His assistant answered all of my questions and responded quickly and Steve was very thorough. He treated the inspection as if he were purchasing the home and we appreciated it! Although he did find some things we weren't thrilled about in the home, with his thorough report, we were able to negotiate with the seller and avoid a headache down the line. I highly recommend this inspector. Very thorough and extremely accurate. I have used him twice already because of how trustworthy he is. For the first inspection, he really helped me in not going through with a home purchase that had numerous serious problems with it. I am very thankful to have hired him. Home inspections are voluntary, but you should absolutely hire this company to do an inspection. It will really help you in the end. The costs for his services are completely worth it and also extremely reasonable. I will be using him for every home inspection ever needed and will recommend him to anyone who needs a home inspection. Good communication from him and everyone else in the company.

Steve with Inspect-o-Graff did an excellent job. The report we received gave us a detailed look of the property and will help us better predict the issues with the home we are purchasing and how to address them. He cares about what he does and explains things well. His background as a license contractor is a huge plus. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a detailed analysis and inspection of a home.

This was an inspection for a 2002, two-story home. This guy is an outstanding professional. He has licenses/experience in just about every aspect of building, bugs, and contracting. Not only was he thorough over the 3-4 hours in the home, but he was kind and answered all of our (sometimes silly) questions during the debriefing afterward. He had recommendations and suggestions for all the issues he uncovered. We ultimately decided against purchasing the home after the inspection (it was a foreclosure), but I am glad he was the inspector - money well spent that saved us headaches in the future.

Steve showed up on time to complete an inspection of a four-unit investment property for me. His meticulous attention to detail was evident as he went from room to room throughout the units and as he inspected the exterior of the property. His in-depth knowledge of city ordinances and insurance regulations was impressive. His report was detail-oriented and thorough. He's a true professional, and someone who puts your best interest first. Highly recommended!

The first property that Steve inspected took him a half hour to locate major issues. Needless to say we pulled the plug on that property. Second property when a lot better. Steve took his time and explained things as he went. Would recommend highly.

We received this recommendation from Angie's List. Our lender for the new house required a home inspection as usual, and being new to the area, we trusted the consumer reviews on this site. Steve Graff is very professional and organized. We were so pleased with his service. He has a lot of knowledge about construction and remodeling so his insight into existing problems was excellent. The cost was reasonable and the paperwork was professional and completed within the estimated time frame. He showed up on time and was dressed professionally (which we found is not typical in this area). I would highly recommend this company. Steve has 3 areas within his business: inspections, construction and pest control. We also have hired his company to handle our bi-monthly extermination. We're not used to the oversized tropical bugs that wonder into your house and I preferred to keep them out! The pest control area is doing a great job so far as well!

He was extremely thorough and the reports were full of great detail about the property. He was knowledgeable about the services he provided and was able to explain to us the things he found. He certainly didn't miss a detail. Due to his professionalism with the home inspection we will definitely call him if we ever need a contractor as well!

The guy was excellent. I would bring him to the other coast to where I am living right now if I had to. He was extremely professional. I can't say enough good things about him. I paid $400 for the home inspection and $6000 for the window. He is excellent at what he does.

Steve arrived on time and got right to work. He spent almost four hours going over the home with a fine-toothed comb. Before he left that day, he took us on a tour of the house to show us the items of concern that he'd noted and explained the issues in detail. Later that day he emailed us a preliminary report with the items of most concern plus all of his field notes. A couple days later we got the full, formal report, in several formats: the full report, a summary, and a summary with photos. The full report was 56 pages. It was incredibly detailed and thorough. For each section (roof, exterior, grounds, heating/cooling, etc.) the report listed the items to be inspected with descriptions of what was to be done, then the actual inspection results with lots of photos. The report was amazingly complete. Steve's inspection revealed some hidden water damage that led to an evaluation of persistent drainage issues. We ultimately passed on the house as a direct result of the inspection. We were sad about the house, but happy that we found these issues before we bought the house rather than 6 months later. Best $290 I ever spent. My only complaint was that it took three days to get us the formal report, but I spoke with Sherrie and provided feedback about that. Overall, the service was beyond what I expected, even after reading the other positive reviews. I have an appointment later this week to have Steve inspect another house!

I was able to contact Steve directly. He fit us into his schedule on a Saturday.. He was thorough and performed all 3 services in one visit. Both the verbal report and written report were excellent and helped on save a lot of money. He answered questions from me and the seller. He was the best home inspector I have ever used.

He did a thorough job, seemed knowledgable and answered as many questions as I had. His report was thorough with lots of pictures, and easy to understand.
