We were away while work was completed, but were informed by a neighbor that the crew did the work rapidly and in one day--it somewhat showed. Some of the old fencing was not cleaned up, and sand from new post holes (the old ones weren't filled) was left on brick walkways (even a cursory sweeping would've been a nice touch). Some aesthetic choices were questionable (i.e. using gouged pieces in conspicuous places such as entry gates; using a few badly warped pieces). Also, gate latches apparently were set without adequate regard to expansion/contraction--two don't open/close properly even after only a couple weeks. The price of the work was in line with other estimates. The fact that we were not present when work was done may have affected the results--we were unable to discuss the previously mentioned aesthetic choices and clean-up requests. I am in the process of following up on my concerns; pending a satisfactory outcome, I'd consider recommending or using this company again.

Ed showed up for the quote, was on time and professional. They performed the work about 3 weeks later, and finished the fence installation within 1 day. They did a phenomenal job, I was very pleased with the work. The fence is quality and the gates installed work perfectly. I would recommend Duracraft to anyone who needs a fence. Lowest prices and high quality work. I constantly receive compliments on the fence, and my neighbors are now calling Duracraft for quotes!

These guys did a great job. Ed was so easy to do business with. I will use them again if I ever need more fencing.

Ed Tuxhorn, owner, arrived on time, was neat and professional. Was somewhat disappointed in his not having any samples with him and in being told to ''look it up on the supplier's web site.''

This was one of the best experiences I have had here in FL. Upon calling Ed, the owner, he came out promptly to review the job and gave me a quote on two different types of fences. His quote was the best of the quotes I received, and his timeframe was reasonable. Ed is very knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure to call the utilities company so they knew where all the underground utilities were. When his workers arrived, they were prompt, clean, and understood exactly what they were supposed to do, including how the fence was to be faced, where the new gates should be, etc. These two guys worked so hard they didn't even take a lunch break. They were polite and made sure we were happy with the overall result. They were very professional and cleaned up everything before they left. They were even giving me suggestions as how to prolong the life of the fence. I can't say enough great things about this experience. I recommend Duracraft to anybody.

The workers were prompt enough and courteous. Their workmanship was good. The gates fit, the locks work and the fence feels sturdy. The price was in the middle range. We were, however, disappointed with the appearance of the fence from an overall perspective. We expected that golden or light tan look of brand new lumber which signifies a new construction from the street or up close. This lumber has a green palor, which in the shade or overcast gives it a "been around awhile" look. The owner and his workers blame this on the preservative it was soaked in and I believe them, but all companies claim to use pressure treated lumber. Is there a difference? Mr. Truxhorn says this was the best lumber he has seen recently. It has few imperfections such as knotholes etc. I would just advise that a new customer of this firm make it very clear what type of lumber and appearance they expect from the finished work. Perhaps look at a recently done job. They are very capable.

Ed and the crew were on time, very polite, reasonably priced, and cleaned everything up. They worked very hard and took time to make sure the job was done right. I would recommend them.

Excellent. Jack & Brian simply did an excellent job. One of our gates wasn't even usable; the entire fence/gates were over 11 yrs old. They cemented the gate posts and raised the gates an inch off the ground so they wouldn't sag with time. The handles are beautiful to see from the street, and the fence looks absolutely great from the street.

DURACRAFTS QUOTE BEAT OTHER COMPANIES, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO BEGIN THE WORK SOONER AS WELL. THEY GAVE ME A WRITTEN QUOTE, AND FINISHED THE WORK PROMPTLY. THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT AND IS VERY NICELY INSTALLED.

ED, THE COMPANY OWNER, CAME OUT FOR THE ESTIMATE AND ALSO DID THE JOB WITH A TWO MAN CREW. ALL WORKED VERY HARD ON AN EXTREMELY HOT DAY AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE FENCE WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED AND I DON'T SEE HOW I COULD HAVE GOTTEN BETTER SERVICE. THEY EVEN HELPED ME REMOVE A SMALL TREE THAT I COULD ONLY GET TO WITH THE FENCE DOWN. THANKS AGAIN, ED!

THE OLD FENCE WAS REMOVED BY ED AND HIS COURTEOUS WORKERS, AND THE NEW FENCE COMPLETED IN LESS THAN A DAY. WE HAD THREE NEW GATES PUT IN. THEY REQUIRED ADJUSTING TWICE, AND ED CAME OUT HIMSELF AND DID WHATEVER WAS REQUIRED TO GET THE GATES WORKING PROPERLY. WE APPRECIATED HIS EXCELLENT WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

WITHIN A FEW DAYS, HE SUPPLIED US WITH A DETAILED SKETCH OF THE FENCE AND EXACT PRICING. ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION, ED AND HIS CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED DILIGENTLY THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. EVERYONE IN THE COMPANY HAS BEEN VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS.

ED AGREED TO COME OUT OUT TO DO AN ESTIMATE ON A FENCE REPAIR, BUT HE WAS A NO SHOW. EVEN THOUGH I LEFT MESSAGES ASKING TO RE-SCHEDULE, I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY GATE, HE WAS SO QUICK TO RESPOND. HE SAID HE'D COME OUT ON SATURDAY. HE DID SOME DRILLING AND ADJUSTED SOMETHING AND REFUSED TO CHARGE ME! HE WAS SO VERY NICE, AND CLEAN CUT. HE SAID HE WAS IN THE AREA AND IT WAS NO PROBLEM. I REALLY APPRECIATED WHAT HE DID FOR ME AND WOULD USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN, SHOULD THE OCCASION COME UP.

ED WAS REALLY EASY TO WORK WITH. OUR BACK YARD HAS A ROLLING TERRAIN (YES, IN FLORIDA), TREES, AND A SPRINKLER SYSTEM. HE RECOMMENDED A LAYOUT THAT IS BEAUTIFUL AND OBTAINED THE REQUIRED PERMIT FROM THE CITY OF DUNEDIN. HE WORKED US INTO HIS SCHEDULE AS SOON AS THE PERMIT WAS ISSUED, FINISHING THE WORK BEFORE THE PROMISED DATE AND WITHIN BUDGET.
