Mr. Tuxhorn (the owner) gave us a detailed quote. We asked for four upgrades- which he readily accommodated. He and his helper showed up promptly and completed the work on time. He gave us exactly what we asked for- for the quoted price. His workmanship and attention to detail were very good.

This company returned my initial call promptly. Arrived on appointed day and time for an estimate. Provided estimate same day. Called a week prior to our discussed install date. I had to move the date back a week, and they were very accommodating. They removed and disposed of existing chain link fence, removed a couple of bushes that were in the new fence line and installed a board on board fence 18 inches outside of old fence line, and installed a front gate. They started and finished work in one day, which was important as we have dogs. I am very happy and will use them again should the need arise.

Great job! They showed up on time, the installer explained what he was going to do and asked questions instead of just assuming. The installer was polite and very professional. The owner came by during the installation to check the work.

Scheduled an appointment with Ed for an estimate for both wood and vinyl fencing on one side of the property. We discussed the work to be done and the options available. I had an estimate from Ed within 20 minutes. After reviewing other estimates, I inquired about other options for a wood fence. Ed discussed other materials as more of a commercial grade and said that he would have a new estimate by the next day. We went with the second estimate and got in the queue for scheduling. A few weeks later I called Ed to ask where we were on the schedule. He said that the materials had been received and asked me to pick a day the following week. The fence was installed as scheduled within one day.

Ed is very professional. When he initially estimated the job he told us he had a big job that could interfere with the scheduling and we settled on a date a few weeks out. He showed up when he said he would and got the job finished within the two days he said it would take. He and his other worker were polite and friendly and the fence looks beautiful.

There was confusion with communication which was as much my fault as theirs. They said in the paper work that they were replacing the fence "as it was" and the previous fence had been installed with the good side in rather than out and so they did the same. They indicated they had to do this anyway because one of my neighbors has heavy vegetation and the other has a wall and so they couldn't hammer from the other side. Anyway, the sides were done by the time I noticed and I asked them to do the back with the good side out and they did. They also broke a couple of shingles of siding, one on my house and one on my neighbor's. They agreed to the one on my house, but not my neighbor's. They agreed to reimburse me for the repair on mine. A local handy many in the area fixed it for me for free so there didn't end up being a charge. My gate has had to be adjusted a couple of times and a few boards have popped up, but they have been good about coming out (twice) and made the repairs quickly and at no charge to me.

The fence looks good and they did a good job putting it up, but there was one small problem. While installing it, they busted a sprinkler pipe and they did not inform us of this. I wish they would have mentioned it to me.

Mr. Tuxhorn is very nice. He never yells or loses his temper. He takes responsibility by coming out to adjust the gates even though our warranty is expired. Duracraft tells us that the fences in Florida will sag and need adjusting periodically. But my problem is with communication. The employees don't even leave a note, message, or email to let me know that they have been here. I would like to have been warned that the gates would need periodic maintenance and I would like a note or a call or an email that they have been out and made the necessary adjustments.

It was wonderful they were punctual and reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this company.

The whole experience was great. Ed came over and gave us an estimate. He and another man came over and installed the fence. It looks great.

Ed Tuxhorn inspected the site, and provided a cost estimate for the various types of fence available. Once the offer was accepted, the job was scheduled to start in about two weeks. Installation went smoothly. Two installers completed the job in one full day. The new fence and gates look great.

BEST OF THE BEST. Do not look further. You have found it at Duracraft. I was impressed with Ed Tuxhorn in his scheduling and professionalism. A diagram and clear estimate with a break down of the cost of materials and labor was provided. I was really prepared to spend more and was surprised at the reasonable cost. The day prior to installation, he had the telephone company check for ground wiring. The job could not have gone smoother, through the oppressive heat and the intermittent rain. A fabulous job was completed in less than 5 hours...I am a very happy camper, indeed.

The company representative was punctual when coming out to give an estimate, and he was very professional. The day the work was scheduled, the workers were punctual and did a great job. We were very pleased with the experience.

It went well, but here we are in June 2007 (work done in Jan '06) 1 1/2 yrs later & one slat on the left gate is bowing toward backyard & handle on right gate needs to be adjusted yet again (3rd time now)! I just don't understand why this work still needs to be done after 1 1/2 yrs - doesn't seem right to me. About a year later, the gate started to sag. I spoke to John and he came out, adjusted the gate for us. He had to do this about 3 or 4 times from the time of install. In July, he had to come back again to adjust the gate. He was not charging us for the adjustments but I was not notified that the fence would need to be adjusted throughout the life of the fence. Recently, I called him to come back out and adjust the fence; he has not come out or called me back. I paid over $1,500 for this fence and I expect a little better treatment.

Ed Tuxhorn answered the first call I made for an estimate. He arrived on time for the estimate and provided the estimate right then and we set a date for the installation. He did the job when he said he would and did it all in one day and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.

I do not hire anyone who can't respond to an estimate or a phone call. When I first called we set up an appointment for him to come out and look at the work. I was expecting an estimate there on the stop. He said he needed to go back to his office and he would mail it to me. I received the estimate a week later. The estimate was only for wood and not wood & vinyl like I requested. When I called him he was out of the office and said he would call me back to go over the estimate over the phone. He never called back.

The price was great and they did the job when they said they would. They did quality work.

They did a really nice job. There estimate was for $1200, and when they were through the bill was only $800. They were very practical and didn't push me into buying a new fence.

The estimate was completed when scheduled and the work was completed on time and on budget. There were no surprises other than that of my surprise of knowing that there are contractors out there that are skilled, professional, and competent. I highly recommend Duracraft Fence.

Great. He showed at appointed time for estimate, we made a date, he arrived, and installed it on the time & date we set. When asked if he wanted a down payment, he said, "No, pay when you're satisfied". Should have done it along time ago.

THE FENCE COMPANY OWNER WAS ON TIME. HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST & WHEN HE COULD DO THE JOB. I TOLD HIM THE COST WAS OK AND TO DO THE FENCE ON A DAY & TIME THAT WE AGREED ON. HE ARRIVED ON STATED DATE & TIME. HE FINISHED THE JOB IN ONE DAY. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK. VERY SATISFIED WITH MY NEW FENCE.

They were excellent. The workers arrived on time. They installed exactly what they said they would. The gate/fence are beautiful!!
