The estimator showed up right on time, was very courteous, explained all estimated charges. There was a slight miscommunication as to the start date, but when things were cleared up, the crew showed up on time on the specified date. The job took two days, and everything was cleaned up at the conclusion of the job. The roof looks great! The final invoice was right in the ballpark of the estimate (I had to have some wood replaced. All replacement materials were shown in the invoice.). Overall, a very good experience.

Contractor quickly sized up job on initial visit, explaining how he would approach the work. His workmen went about job quickly and efficiently, and completed it in good time. Unfortunately, an air conditioning unit which they had to work over was damaged through bad luck rather than carelessness on their part, requiring a repair of several hundred dollars. When this was explained to contractor, he graciously accepted the deduction from the invoice

Around 7/2/10: Roof was inspected by two of Tom's men, both outside and in the attic. They found the main cause of the problem to be in the front valley, above the entry door. The second area of concern was around a 10" exhaust vent above the garage ceiling. The work was scheduled for the following week or so. So, all of the work involved pulling up the tile along sides of the valley and vent, cleaning and prepping surface, installing new adhering underlayment, sealing edges and reinstalling the tiles. I actually had a Physicians appt the day that the work was scheduled, so I had to leave about ten minutes after the men showed to do the work. When I returned a few hours later, they were already finished and cleaned up and gone.

A couple years ago when we had problems with our existing porch roof (courtsey of another Roofing contractor) we called in Albright and they replaced our entire porch roof. We were so impressed by the job they did, and by their professionalism that about a month ago, when we discovered leaks in the roof on the main body of the house (more roofing issues from the old contractor) we immediately called Albright. They came out and immediately was able to tell what the problem was. We had the repairs scheduled and completed within a week of the initial evaluation and once again we're impressed by Albright Roofing. They called prior to arriving to make sure we were ready for them, and once the repairs were done, we received a call from the office asking if everything was satisfactory and to ensure that we were no longer having issues with the leaks. It's hard to find that sort of professionalism anymore. Albright did an AWESOME job!!! Thank you very much Albright. I'm very happy to recommend them.

Fantastic Job!! We interviewed 6 roofing companies, all with excellent grades and numerous current reports from Angie?s List. All of the company?s offered similar roofing products, the variables related to ventilation systems, workmanship warranties, underlayment materials, crew sizes, competitiveness of the bid, and flat roof materials for our Florida room addition. The price quotes ranged from $6,650 to $8,366 for a 1,450 sq. ft. home. We selected Albright Roofing because it offered: (1) the Ridge Vent ventilation system with wind resistance up to 110 mph, (2) a transferable 10 year workmanship warranty in the event that we sell the home, (3) the peel & stick self adhering water barrier underlayment which can lower home insurance premiums, (4) a large crew size that minimizes the exposure time for potential water damage during the installation period, (5) a cost effective yet durable option for flat roofs, and (6) an extremely competitive overall bid for the job. The crews did an excellent job. The work was completed in one day and the finished product was exceptionally sound. I can definitely see why Albright Roofing has earned Angie?s Super Service Award for the past 5 years. They offer the total package: Superb customer service and excellent workmanship.

Not only did Albright repair the leak, but they were very considerate with regard to cost, knowing I had already paid someone else to repair the area. They were clean and prompt. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I was very happy with it. They did the job in one day, cleaned-up after themselves, and had the best price. They were very nice, cordial, accommodating, and professional.

(06/15/2010) I asked to get an estimate for replacing the gable end siding on my roof and gutter work. I was told a estimator would contact me within 2 business days to setup a appointment. I never received a call so I called them back. I was told that the estimate was ready and it would be emailed to me. I received the proposal for replacing my gutters and covering my rotted wood with vinyl. I never talked to a estimator. How can they give me a quote when no one talked to me to find out what exactly I wanted done? I wanted my wood replaced not covered. I wanted new vents installed, there quote left them out. My backyard is behind a lock fence. Did they know about the gable in the back that I wanted done? This is very un-professional UPDATE (06/28/2010) This is a update to my F grade report on June 15, 2010 I received a call from Albright a few days later concerning my F grade. I explained to them why I graded them an F and from the conversation on the phone agreed that the estimator and I must have had some miss communication. I accepted the offer to have the estimator come out the next day since I really did want to get an estimate form Albright due to all the good grades on Angie's List. I took off a few hours from work and meet the estimator the following day. We firmed up the gutter work I wanted and then he told me that he was an estimator only for gutters and VINYL siding. Since I wanted the original wood replaced with wood or cement board he would have to have the estimator that did that work come out. I agreed. Got a call from Albright a few days later and made arrangements for the second estimator to come out. I took off a few hours from work again and met up with the two gentlemen. We walked the job and I explained what I wanted. The gentlemen took out their ladders and measured all the gables and vents that I needed. Albright was the only roofing company so far that actually went into this detail of physically measuring the gables. They told me that they had all the information they needed and would get me a quote the following week. I got a call today, June 28, 2010, from a gentlemen named Tom who stated that he reviewed my information and that they did not really do that type of work and were not interested in the job. Neither of the estimators said anything about the company not doing this kind of work. So now I have lost several hours from work and delayed my project by a week and a half. If they did not do gable end repair why did they not just tell me that or even if they do and were not interested in the job just say so instead of wasting my time. My grade stands.

What can I say, I love this company. This is the third new roof they've done for me in the last year and a half. This was a new roof put on my residence before listing it for sale. They completed the entire job in less than two days and you'd never they'd been there. I don't think we found a single piece of debris. Every nearby neighbor has commented on the new roof and the great job they did. I know of at least one neighbor who is having their roof replaced by Albright because of the job they did for me. They were also very helpful with filling out the paperwork I needed for my Progress Energy rebate. I will most certainly use them in the future.

The same two workers that quoted the job completed the repair. I like this idea because they knew exactly what needed to be done based on my original mtg with them. They are two polite, professional guys that are friendly and explained in detail exactly what they were doing. They were fast and neat and finished the work in one day. I al;so had them complete a small repair on the roof while they were there. The tile repair looks like they were never on the job! Just the eway I like it!

I have a tile roof which collects many leaves in the grooves.very hard to remove,plus I don't like getting on top of my roof.I had Albright Roofing out at the house last year for what i thought was a roof leak.They took care of this.Tom,the manager saw that I had lots of leaves on my roof,said his co.would removes them for $50.00. thought this expensive,but needed to be done,so as not to stain the roof.Albright did a graet job.they must have spent two hours on the roof.I called Albright Roofing again this year to remove the piles of leaves from my roof.They did a great job again.They sweapt the drive way as well.I will call them again next year.Thanks

I called the company a few weeks before and asked for an estimate. Two workers arrived within two days. They went up on the roof and made a complete survey of the Fl room roof. They also inspected the entire roof for leaks. They then came down and told us what they found and offered several solutions. They explained in detail what can and should be done. They gave an estimate of $2000 adding there may be a need to replace any rotten wood. We set a date for them to start. On 4/20/2010 the workers arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They went to work immediately at 8 am and finished around 1 pm. The foreman and his workers worked with diligence and professionally. After they finished they cleaned up the entire area. They answered any questions we may have had. I would not hesitate to use this company again if needed

The work was delayed a few days by weather, but the job, including removing the old roof and gutters, was completed in just one day. The workers were very professional and got it done very quickly, without compromising any quality.

They did a fabulous job. No nails anywhere after the job was done, and prompt attention to an issue once brought to their attention.

They were wonderful. A large team of about a dozen workers came out. Hector, the foreman, first explained what they would do and answered my questions. He was knowledgeable and professional. They arrived on time, and were finished 8 hours later. A concern of mine was that they might leave nails on the ground, but they took care, going over our yard with a large magnetic roller and also looking carefully. It has been almost a month, and we have found no nails. I happened to be here when the city inspector inspected the roof. I asked him how it looked, and he gave a glowing report, saying that the materials used were good ones, not the cheaper kind he sees sometimes. He said the shingles were lined up very nicely, and everything was nailed down securely. He said they did a great job. The reason I gave a B for responsiveness is that my phone calls were not always answered. Sometimes this would put me off, and I would go somewhere else. But having read the Angies List reviews of this company and met the fellow who gave the estimate, I felt a good job was more important. I'm glad I chose Albright. We got the $100 discount, too. NB: They want you to pay in check or cash, as credit cards take about 4% of their earnings. I highly recommend this company.

Tom Owens came out and looked over the old roof. I made the decision to go with shingle over tile and Tom showed me several options. We went with an energy saving white shingle. He also showed us a roofing system for our flat roof on the family room/screen porch that puts an angle on it so the water drains instead of sitting there. The roof job was run by Hector. He and his crew did a great job. They removed a concrete tile roof, repaired the water damage, added a ridge vent, re-nailed the entire roof and shingled the roof in one day. when they left the yard was spotless, no debris left over, no nails, nothing. The siding crew came the next week and did a great job with the vinyl siding and gutters. The siding looks great and I am really happy with the gutters. No more water running off the flat roof and back into the screen porch. The office staff was always very helpful when I called and when I had questions they were always very quick to respond. Overall I am very satisfied with the job Albright did. Thanks Tom, Stacey and Hector.

Workmen arrived and identified themselves as being from Albright (their truck was unmarked). They climbed on the roof and installed the gutter and downspouts. Never even entered the house itself.

Call because of leak, they came out the next day put a temp patch on because of the hard rain. Finished the job the next week.

I couldn't be more satisfied. If I ever need to reroof again this will be the company.

Amazing. Workers showed up, removed old roof and replaced new one in less than a day. Roof looks great. Also removed old turbines and replaced with ridge vents which look much nicer than the old ones. We were given samples, and as much time as we needed, to decide the color we wanted (we chose Terra Cotta) We would definitely recommend Albright to others.

I have called numerous times to schedule this to be done and all I am told is someone will get back to me. I think maybe the problem is that I attached the coupon to the estimate.As I am writting this and sending to you I am canceling the agreement with them for I don't like the way they treat thir coustmers at this point.
