Description of Work: Despite reviews of them not calling back; we called because they do great work. They need to hire more people. Hurricane Debby came and a few shingles came off. We called our regular roofer and he said we need a new roof but his way of conducting business made us feel uncomfortable so we got estimates from Angies List and a neighbor. Over the next few weeks we had them come and give us the same news; we need a new roof and they all were the same price. The only one that stood out was Albright. They way the owner explained everything and how one of the flat roofs was still great and they don't need to be replaced (otherwise it would be $10,000). This is for a 1,500 sq foot home. They could have came out on the first and replaced it but being my grandmothers house, she was out of town and wanted to meet them and approve for the permit so they came back out a few weeks later. It is tough to get a hold of them but Sandy came out and showed the samples and finalized the papers. She mentioned that they get about 60 calls a day, they need to hire more. They were going to come out on the 21st but because of the weather they got delayed at the other job, we were not notified. We called and she mentioned Friday so they came out at 8:30am (9 team members). They replaced a few pieces of plywood and a few two by 4's. They even tore up the side of the roof. They threw the shingles down and it shook the house. I know it is heavy but dang. They use Atlas roofing matierial and no more traditional tar. The approval of work was signed by the owner before they came out. I called the county around 10a and they said the inspector will come out within the hour. After the hour and the end of the day nothing. They finished around 6:30p. The county inspector finally came 8-28 and luckilly we were home, we heard him on the roof. He was here for a few minutes and all looked good. He mentioned about them signing that the work was done right before they start is legal and it is just to save time and he trust his guys. By the way, the owner did not show up after the work was done. Our friend/neghbor who gave us the name of who she used and we got an estimate from will hire Albright and our other friend/neighbor will too. Overall it was a pretty good experience and that is why they got a "B". If they learn English, not throw the shingles, hire more for the office, and not sign before the work gets (come back out after completion). They would get an "A".

 + -1 moreWhen Albright did the work, it was amazing to watch their team in action. I was impressed by how organized, fast, and careful they were. Vehicle after vehicle of supplies arrived, and supplies were raised to the roof with trucks with ladders, conveyor belts, and other special equipment. A different company that was delivering some furniture of ours that had been stored arrived this day by mistake, and Albright worked around the other truck's unloading needs with no complaints. When I recently needed proof of our new roof for our insurance company and couldn't find the invoice, Albright immediately sent me another copy by e-mail. I am sorry it took me this long write this review. I would recommend Albright Roofing and Contracting.
Description of Work: Albright replaced our entire roof, both shingles and formerly flat roof, which was replaced with a taper roof system to prevent water from puddling with potential for leaking. Plywood had to be replace in some areas, and peel and stick underlayment was used on the entire roof deck. Our color was Atlas Tan Mist. Albright's price was better than other estimates, we were provided with good warranties, we received compliments on the roof from neighbors, there have been no sign of leaks, and they cleaned up completely.

 + -1 moreThe owner Tom, came out to do the estimate. He arrived on time and returned phone calls promptly when we had questions. Albright roofing is a certified installer for several shingle companies so I felt confident having them install any of the brands of shingle we were considering. Prior to the install we had trouble deciding which shingles to go with and Stacey was incredibly helpful and patient throughout. The day of the install went extremely well. The installers were very efficient, precise, and neat. They arrived before 8 AM, completed the job the same day, and left the site clean. We've had follow up inquiries after the install that they've been very quick to respond on. Most recently our homeowners' insurance required some additional documentation under a tight deadline for the secondary water barrier that was installed and they got back to me within 2 hours with the required letter. I would definitely recommend this company.

 + -1 moreThe experiece with Albright Roofing was phenomenal. I called on 6/27/2012 and they returned my call the next day. They came out on 7/2/12 to evaluate the roof and created a quote by the next day. They completed the repair on 7/10/12 based on my sense of urgency.. They kept in communication at all times and were responsive to my needs. The entire staff was courteous and professional. I will use Albright Roofing for the replacement of my roof in the near future.
Description of Work: Albright came out and inspected the roof. They create a quote and sent it to me within a day after their visit. I needed to have 60-80 cement tiles repaired and approximately 10 tiles replaced.

 + -1 moreVery quick, professional workmanship! The workers(between 8and 12 men) arrived about 7:30-8:00am, and were finished by 4:30 pm. They even kept my yard clean! I did not submit a review until we had a good storm(T.S.Debby)so that we could have a good test. I am happy to report that the roof held up great, and I didnt have any leaks!! I spoke with other people(even contractors) who said that we got a great price on this with all the work done. Stacey B.(office mgr) was a pleasure to work with - she made everything easy from contract signature to payment!! I have already recommended ALBRIGHT ROOFING to several people that saw the sign in my yard!

 + -1 moreWe have an old Spanish-style house from 1924 and the ceiling sprung a leak at the top of the stairs. The roofers first came out in January, and they replaced a flat-roof section just above the leak. Then we had that very dry period. But with the first real rain in May, we discovered that the leak was still there. The roofers returned and tried patching another section, but the leak was still not fixed. This is the way with old houses, I've been told, sometimes it's difficult to find a leak. But Albright came back 2 or 3 more times until the leak was fixed (knock on wood) . They were always punctual and courteous.

 + 0 moreThe owner gave us an initial estimate. They did not go a penny over the estimate. We received four other estimates they were the lowest bid. I went with them because of the price and they had it done in a day and a half. They also cleaned up well. It was amazing. The did everything they said they would including installing gutters all around the home. The most impressive was they cleaned the yard with a magnet to pick all debris and roofing nails. I made it a point to Tom that I am constantly walking with my dogs in my yard. I was very concerned about any debris or roofing nails left behind. He went over and above his call of duty. He came back himself on his own time to double check the yard for any debris or nails. I was super impressed. A week after the installation our neighbor behind us had a competitor install their roof. That project took over a week and did not include gutter installation. I would recommend them highly. Tom had all the top quality products to choose from.

They clearly described the work to be done, answered all my questions promptly and gave us an nice discount! Since they are rated so highly in Angies List we felt confident that it was an easy choice based on price. The work was completed in one day, on the date they scheduled. There was one minor problem which they fixed the following day after I called. The yard was left clean. My neighbors didn't even realize the work had been done! Sandy was very easy to work with on the phone.

 + -1 moreThe only problem I had with them was that I have rain deflectors on the roof and when they got finished they did not put them back on. They kept saying they would come and do it. Each time they were supposed to come they would call and say they would come another time. Finally they said that they should have been put on before the roof was put on so they wouldn’t leak. I told them to forget it. They shouldn’t have taken something off the roof if they were not going to replace it. Other than that, they did a very good job. It was nice and neat; it wasn't messy at all. When they finished, the place looked nice and neat. The deflectors were over three of the doors and I really wanted those replaced. I didn't realize they had taken them off and left them off. I called 3 people for estimates.

 + -1 moreI got them from Angie's List and they were wonderful. I would like to grade them highly on all the categories. They came and they had ten people. They ripped the roof off in one day and put the new roof back on. They put a special seal like thing which was like a rubber stamp. It was like a protection from water. They put something and then seal it with heat. If the shingles ever blow up then this would not blow up and we would not get the water in. They cleaned up everything. They were absolutely amazing. I would absolutely use them again in the future. Our roof was small to begin with. One part was a flat roof and that could have been more. They ripped the whole roof off and in Florida they probably have to because I think that they have to have a water barrier down there.

Removal of the old roof and installation of the new shingled roof was accomplished in one day. The crews were courteous and left the work site clean. In addition, the office staff was great. Very cooperative and responsive to the many questions we had. From my experience with Albright Roofing, I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Removed existing tile roof to bare wood, replaced any rotted wood. Replaced exhaust vent, lead boots and valleys. Added approximately 70 feet of ridge vents and a drip edge. Installed 35 year shingles w/secondary barrier which includes a 10 year labor warranty. Resealed ajacent flat roof with urethanizer.
