My mom is sick (B.S) when asked when called no explanation or no phone to reschedule, which is not an going to work(It's my schedule) NOT HERS!!! All appts were planned in advanced, to no avail!!! DON'T HIRE THESEPEOPLE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Started 02/182020 ended 03/03/2020 after all the excuses!!! As a Retired Command Master Chief (RET) I would think people running a Business could plan and ensure they have the resources to complete their tasks in which they are supposed to provide. Small family business, along with long term employees have made this company a success to date. Everyone working for Hammerhead has know each other for 30 plus years. We are very picky about who we bring into your house.
"This remodeling took 3 months and was very extensive due to the kitchen and master bathroom were leveled down to the foundation slab. Everything was replaced in kitchen; lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, cabinets, all appliances, added trash compactors, painting, replacing baseboards, backsplash tile and mural. Master bathroom included moving a couple walls, lights, electrical sockets removed or changed, flooring, replacing baseboards and adding quarter-round, changing ceiling texture, and painting. I mention this list (which isn't comprehensive) to give you an idea of the extensive amount of work. This is important because I have a very keen eye for the quality of a contractor's work, due to my skills, and I used to be in the contracting business for a short time many years ago. My observations are to make sure all work agreed on and changes are in writing, because it will help everyone involved agree to the work required. We disagreed on a few changes, but Jimmie was professional and we came to an understanding that worked for us both. If your work is a major project like mine was then expect delays like I did. He expected 6-8 weeks and it took 11 weeks. That's not bad. We had to find another tile crew which is what delayed the project. That's not Jimmie's fault, but every contractor needs to have other people to call to pick up the slack. The quality of the work IS top quality, He is respectful and do clean up there daily trash. The painting is great if Brian does that work. Lastly, they DO show up to do repairs after the work is done, but it may take a couple requests to pin down a time. That's really good when they're backed up several months like everyone."
