Frank is very professional in his approach to taking problems with cab in kitchen, helpful with advise and very reasonable, always on time and good in communication.

He came and gave us an estimate that lasted over an hour. He went over everything we wanted to do in the closet, gave great suggestions of what would work best and what wouldn't. Within a day, he emailed us detailed options and costs to do the job. Once we gave the go ahead and provided the deposit, it was about 3 weeks for him come out and put in our closet organizer. He arrived for the job just before 8:30 am (said he would be here at 8:30) and he and his worker worked non-stop until they were done, about 12:30. Throughout the work on site, he would have me come in and make sure everything was the way we wanted it. He knows what he is doing, he has a very fair price (much lower than we expected) and was very friendly and thorough. We plan on having him come back this summer to do the other closets in our house. By the way, he was recommended to me by my parents and aunt and uncle who both had him do work at their house. At my parents he redid their kitchen cabinets and a storage closet in the garage. For my aunt and uncle he build them a very nice custom TV stand for their great room.

Frank and his partner did a great job. They came in measured each room, spliced where needed. I would highly recommend them on your crown molding jobs.

Frank was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable and an excellent craftsman who takes pride in his work. He was a bit more expensive than the other quotes I received, but the quality of the product and Frank's attention to detail made it worth every penny. My cabinets are beautiful!

Everything went perfectly...could not have been better!!

He ordered materials beforehand and put the whole seating area together in one day. Cleaned up before he left. Easy to deal with and is precise in his calculations. This is the third time I have used him and I will use him again on my next project.

His professionalism stood out to me. He was very honest and I could tell he takes a lot of pride in his workmanship.

After we contacted Frank, he came to the condo and we reviewed the space. He then provided detailed renderings which we then made alterations and suggestions that he incorporated into his final renderings. Once we were satisfied with the renderings, he was meticulous in ensuring that we selected the type of wood and finish that we wanted. Brought samples of what the finish would look like. He then scheduled the time to do the work and did it on schedule without any delays. For the media unit, he coordinated with the electricians who were putting together a home theatre system so that as he built the unit, all of their needs were satisfied and coordinated within the unit. Even made sure that speaker wires were concealed within the shelves. Made sure there were no unnecessary alterations after the unit was built. The finish product is of the finest quality and looks exactly like the renderings. We are extremely pleased with the entire process. He was very attentive to keeping the condominium clean and neat after each day's work.

He's fabulous and I would highly recommend him. He is dedicated and his work is very good. He's very reliable and punctual.

The drawers were custom made from plywood and mounted on extending rails capable of holding the weight. Frank laid out the job and pointed out all of the smaller things that should, and were done, to give the job a complete and finished look. Even the small things like replacing the existing trim on an open display shelf so that the color matched the rest of the job. Then to, he added crown molding and end of cabinet trim which was not part of the original job which was from when our house was built 14 years ago. When the time came for the installation, Frank and his father showed up at the time and date promised. The job was completed in the time stated, and they cleaned up. We weren't home at that time, so we left everything in their hands. Done to satisfaction, no worry, and way in excess of our expectations. What is even more amazing is how much more space we can now utilize.

Excellant job! Always showed up when promised and finished the project early. The woodworking was professional and better quality than what you could purchase. In the pantry, all pull out drawers are able to handle the weight of canned goods and anything put on them. They were very creative in maximizing the space! The bathrooms had pull out drawers added under the sinks, again to maximize the space. We went from little storage to more than we could use. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Where do we begin??? Frank did a FABULOUS job. Perfection in quality of work, professionalism and pride of workmanship! My husband and I are just thrilled with our beautiful new kitchen. We have had numerous compliments from family and friends. My brother-in-law recently visited from out of state. He too is a craftsman and couldn't get over the attention to detail! He was VERY impressed. Frank's dad was with him a couple of times. Easy to see where Frank got his strong work ethic from! So nice to see that hard work and dedication hasn't completely become a lost art!! We highly recommend Frank (Son of A Carpenter, INC). We have a few more projects upcoming and are looking forward to working with Frank again!!

Contracted with a company to buy/install cabinets and granite counters. This company sub-contracted the cabinet installation to Son of a Carpenter. Glad they did. The original company messed up the original order. Frank (installer) did a great job installing the cabinets that arrived. He also did a great job fabricating the rest of the job. He had to build an island. He had to use a delivered cabinet to make a desk that wasn't properly ordered by the original company. His work is meticulous and not rushed. He keeps you informed on what he is doing, explains everything and makes sure you are happy with the work, and won't leave until you are. I wish Ii had ordered the cabinets through his company. The order would have been correct. He was very punctual. And his cleanup after each day was great. Would use him again in a heartbeat. As to the price: I don't know what they charge because we paid the granite company a set price and they paid Frank.

Frank showed up on time for every appointment we made whether it was for the consultation or installation. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions where appropriate and used his creative genius to complement my dream cutting/sewing/storage table.

We are pretty picky about quality & esthetics & were very pleased with the results. Frank was very professional. He basically rescued a job which had been abandoned by a cabinet contractor who was unreliable and unable to execute the job that he was contracted to do. Frank was very knowledgeable & creative in arriving at solutions to correcting the shortcomings of the unfinished job. He contacted us to see what needed to be done & get a feel for our expectations. He showed up when he was scheduled & was very prompt in returning emails or phone calls.

He was awesome. He did the work on Wednesday and I’ve already got him to do some more stuff. He is great. He is very conscious of wanting me to understand everything that’s involved. He is very easy to get along with and he is very detailed. He is just awesome. I’m very pleased that I found them.

I am so pleased with him. He is someone who is a rare find. If I ever have another problem I need a carpenter for, he is the one I am going to call. The pricing was definitely reasonable.

Amazing! My father was in construction and himself an excellent carpenter - so I grew up knowing the right way and wrong way to do a carpentry job! There is no question about Frank and Lee's skills! They are so very detail oriented and masters at their trade. It was a pleasure watching them work - my dad would have been impressed! I felt their price was very fair for the level of work they provided. I am so happy we choose their company and have already contracted them to do a tv cabinet.

The work was well planned, parts ordered and installed on time. Workmanship was excellent.

It went really well. The services provided were efficient, the work was excellent, and he cleaned up after the job was done.

It went very smoothly. Prior to Frank's visit, he had me send photos of the problem via email. This ensured he would show up with exactly what was needed. Prior to his arrival he kept me informed of his approx arrival time. Before starting work on the kitchen table, Frank layed out some floor protectors to protect the tile floor from scratches. In repairing the base of the table, he exceded by expectations and did a magnificant repair which is barely noticeable. He cleaned up afterwards. I couldn't have asked for or received better service.

The molding looks great. Our ceilings are very tall and we have many odd ceiling angles. Frank and his dad Lee are craftsmen. We are so happy to have found them on Angie's List. Frank will be returning this week to install custom made pull outs in our base kitchen cabinets! These are pleasant, friendly professional men. Our home was left clean and neat after completion of the job.

It is if they are doing the work for themselves and they are there own worse critics. Frank told me , "even if you think it is great-if I don't think so I'll tell you and make it right" I can't recommend them enough-if you want it done right-if you aren't in a huge hurry and don't want the cheapest job in town, Frank and Lee are your guys. It is worthwhile to have craftsmen like Lee and Frank.
