Frank and his team did an incredible job. In fact, the two week + projected time for the projects were done in about a week and a half. Frank installed engineered wood floors in our family room and three bedrooms. The installation was done ahead of schedule, was done with great care and attention to detail. In fact, he cut the wood around a curved feature of our sunk-in family room to a perfect match. He also designed, built and installed new closet organizers for our two girls bedrooms, which our girls love and put in cabinets in our garage so we could organize our garage in a neat way with items out of sight. This is our second time using Frank and his work is consistently of high quality.

Frank showed us where the previously installed anchors and screws were pulling out of the wall board due to the poor quality of the wall board. He crafted a white finished plank board and then reinstalled the barn door which is used to give privacy to the large master bath. He visited us to review the problem, and then showed up 3 days later(over a weekend) to correct the issue.Only charged for materials and a 'repair' labor fee. We have used him also for installing pull out shelves in the kitchen, bath and pantry closets. What a life saver. We can see everything that is on the shelf, even stuff all the way in the back, and we don't have to go into contortions to see what's there. He disign and craft services are above and beyond.

Using Frank Malinowski, his craftsmen, and their state of the art technology, we were able to update our existing kitchen at SIGNIFICANT savings and without destruction to counters, backsplash & walls. Son of a Carpenter has consummate professionals working as a team. From inception to completion, their expertise caused little disruption to our lives and almost no debris.

If you thought quality craftsmanship and customer service are gone, you haven’t worked with Son of a Carpenter. If you are looking for quick and cheap, keep looking. We have built homes, offices, etc. and have never experienced the attention to detail, beautiful design work, and finished product that we were beyond happy with. Every aspect was above and beyond expectations. Frank and crew are courteous, professional and bring a work ethic that we had forgotten even existed. Would never hesitate to reccommend or use for any future project we might have!

Right from the beging John was very professional and took time to listen to what we wanted for our project. He was always there on time and got right to work. The quality and craftsmenship of his work was wonderful. You can tell that these folks are true professionals I also have to mention Walter the painted who put the final touches on the wall that made it something we are very proud of.

This was the most exceptional experience that we could ever have had! We had a vision for the conversion of our home that included the replacement of all finishes throughout, and it was embraced, improved upon, and executed to absolute perfection by Frank! I have been in the commercial construction industry for many years and Frank is the most conscientious, particular, detail oriented and caring person that we have ever worked with. From the custom cabinets, to the new flooring and bathrooms, ship lap and trim work, painting, etc..., it is all perfection and exactly what we envisioned. Answered call immediately, and scheduled day for estimate. Once hired, the supplies were ordered and an install date was set. Everything went as planned. I would definitely hire again!

Frank (who is the son of a carpenter!) and his team were absolutely the best contractors we have ever worked with. Frank is extremely responsive, responding to our calls, texts and emails in a timely fashion. When he said he'd be at your homesite for a consult or the installation, he was there at the agreed time. He engaged us regularly as the design evolved and really listened to what we were looking for in the design and functionality. He provided visualizations of the design and tweaked it as we made slight modifications. Once we signed off on the design, he kept us apprised of the construction progress and reconfirming his timeframe for the installation. Some of his design is really very creative and functional. During the installation, Frank and his team kept the work area well protected and clean at all times. He cleaned up the job site each day. Franks's attention to detail is amazing and he was happy to explain some of the thinking about his design. In addition, he ensured anytime there were options on how to finish or install some of the components he would ask us our opinion and provide the pros and cons of the alternatives. As part of the design we asked for the onyx bar top to be underlit and the amount of lighting Frank installed is perfect. Not too much, not too little. Frank also told us 2 of the glass shelves had scratches on them when he received them from his supplier. He refused to accept them on our behalf and kept us well informed on timing for them to be replaced. He really wants his customers to be happy and looks out for their interests. I also decided to install almost 2000 corks as the backsplash on the bar. Frank worked with us to design and install a sturdy backer board to mount the corks to. After Frank had completed the installation and I was finishing the cork installation, I realized it would be best to install 2 pieces of trim for a more finished look. I sent Frank a couple of pictures and he understood exactly what I needed. He came back to our home and custom cut the trim pieces for us. And he didn't want any additional payment for the pieces or his time. While he was at our home that day, we had two other issues we asked his advice on. He actually solved both problems for us very easily. We insisted after all his help to pay him for some of his time and effort. He was very appreciative. Frank's final design and install is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It is truly a custom and professional bar. Everyone who's seen it has been extremely impressed and complimentary. We have only great things to say about Frank and his team. You will be very happy with any work you hire him to do. If we have any future projects requiring carpentry we will definitely be using Frank for that work.

I have a showing studio, so that's why I needed them because everything there is custom because there is very specific space. Oh, it's fabulous!

I live in a custom home and I wanted them to match the cabinets from when the home was built. So, I had them do an additional cabinet to match what I had in my home already. So, imagine 25 years later matching cabinets, so that it looks like it was made 25 years ago. So, they did custom cabinetry to match cabinets that were installed when my house was built. I'm extremely picky, I'm from New York, I have an expensive home and I would never use anyone else. They're a Polish son, cousin, and father and they do incredible work.

They're probably the best people that I've used since I moved from New York. They're excellent. I use them often, they do custom work, so I used them at least six times in the past five years.
