Description of Work: Scott replaced my roof and did a great job, very professional man. They were very fussy about doing a good job and cleaning up after they were done. I would recommend them anytime.

Description of Work: They did a complete re-roof. There were 5 guys who worked very hard and did it all in 8 hours. I had a few issues when they were done and when I called John he sent the lead guy back and he fixed my issues. I found John Scott to be a very nice, honest, down to earth person and would hire them again, my Aunt also used them on my recommendation and she was happy with her roof also.

Description of Work: Gave up on trying to get a quote. First attempt to make an appointment found the company's voicemail full and unable to leave a message. Second attempt was able to make arrangments for the owner "John " to call. He said that he would have somone call me back to make arrangments for a visit. I never heard back. I have since contacted Allen's Roofing and have made arrangments for them to come out and take a look at what I need done. Very disappointed in John Scott. I had them do the roof on my home and they did a fine job. I was hoping for a repeat experience but I dont see that happening now.

Description of Work: Fixed leak; at front entrance go back behind gable and hip area at small valley at top of where L-flashing meets gable and valley; remove shingles and rotted decking, replace 1/2"plywood and install peel-N-seal under rotted decking under lay ment, tar under flashing and install a 4x6" piece of metal in corner of L flashing, install new dimentional shingles(that closely match).

Description of Work: I had noticed moisture (Not dripping water) in the corner of my ceiling down a slant from my roof vent for my range exhaust fan. John Scott Roofing came, diagnosed and suggested the vent and a few shingles be replaced which were not sealed down. The work was done to my satisfaction and I feel sure the leak has been fixed since I had faith in the John Scott Roofing reputation and the thorough way the work was performed. We have not had a heavy rain since the work was performed.

Description of Work: I contacted John Scott Roofing via their website email address the first week of July, describing my roofing job, and telling them they could inspect the roof at anytime. The job is less than a mile from their office in Brooksville. They did not respond to my email request. On the 18th of July, I called their office on two ocassions, and got a busy signal. On the 20th of July, I mailed to them a letter, detailing the job...and even included an architectual drawing (I'm an industrial designer), detailing the work I wished to have quoted. In the letter I also reiterated the address of the job, and suggested they come by and inspect the project. To date (August 3), I have yet to receive a response of any of my communications to them. I will not be chasing them for this project, and will contact other roofing companies in the area. Given today's tough economic times I would wonder if they have so much work that they can't take on any more???

Description of Work: Even though I was out of town when John Scott's crew installed my new roof, they did a very good job, and they cleaned up all the debris and nails. My roof now is new and Beautiful!
