John Scott Roofing

My neighbor and I both needed new roofs, so we had three contractors provide us with quotes. John Scott spent a good deal of time with us, explaining in detail what his company would do, and his pricing was very attractive. His crew arrived to do my neighbor’s home, and a wind and rainstorm sprung up after they had begun the work. They did a great job keeping the old and new material under control, and made sure that the rain would not get through the partially applied roofing. The next day part of the crew arrived at our house and began working. Part of the crew was still working on the neighbor’s house, as well. Our roof was finished the following day, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up the roofing nails and other debris. Our pool and the pool cage had been protected during the work, and everything was in order after the roof was completed. John had explained how to contact an inspector who would complete a report for our insurance company. We are very pleased with the whole experience, and have already recommended John Scott to some of our friends who have also decided to have John replace their aging roof!

He answered all our questions and made great recommendations. Everything was included in the quote, from permit fees to the paperwork for the insurance company. John’s crew have been with him for many years, were professional and provided quality workmanship. They worked diligently during the day and cleaned up the debris from all around the outside of the house. You would never know they had been there other than a great looking roof! Ok john Scott roofing was awesome n professional from start to finish. Any other roof estimates I got I had to scan a code or ask multiple times for license, insurance, references ect. not with John Scott roofing didn’t get the words out and Mr Scott is handing me copies of everything. The workers were neat personable they cleaned their messes up each day. If I could do more than recommend them I would do that n give a 6th star. Without asking at payment time I got copies of release of lien for material and entire job, that just puts ya at ease. John Scott roofing not only was the most reasonable but an absolute pleasure to work with thank you agin roof looks great !!

I would highly recommend John Scott Roofing. They completed my new roof a couple of weeks ago. Hector, the foreman, and his crew of five worked efficiently and tirelessly. The GAF shingles and other products are top notch and look great. The attention to detail was beyond expectations. John answered all of my questions and explained the process in detail. His price came in $1500 and $900 lower than the other quotes, with better products and detail work. His office staff kept me informed frequently of permitting and scheduling issues.

Our job was for approximately 4,500 sq ft of roof. The work, and clean-up, was performed with great attention to detail, they did not require any payment until fully complete, and fully complete means all documents presented for proper closure, including release of liens, roofer warranty, GAF manufacturer warranty, free mitigation contact info, and completed permit. They did not ask for payment until all was complete. They maintain product inventory, so their lead-time was also months shorter than others. Additionally, the owners and office staff are Christians and therefore very helpful when contacting for customer support. Excellent job by John Scott Roofing from start to finish. I signed a contract with John Scott on January 26, 2022 and by February 15th the work was completed. Mr. Scott gave me the most competitive bid and the roof looks amazing. Cleanup was thorough. A free wind mitigation inspection was included. I could not be more pleased.

For the estimate, John Scott was upfront and fair. When I was trying to choose a color I was given addresses to go look at what the roof would look like so that I would be secure in my decision. The work started exactly on time. The crew that was here was beyond considerate of my home and my belongings. They moved things that may have been breakable from around the work area. They also protected my windows and doors from any possible falling debris. Everything was cleaned up. After all the work was complete and passed inspection John Scott came to my house went over all the paperwork with me and made sure I was satisfied before I gave him my payment. This was the best contractor i have ever worked with. I lost my dad and needed to get his home roof replaced. He helped get the parts quick and it was done way before promised time and looks amazing. John Scott Roofing recently replaced our roof, his company is very professional from the estimate process to the cleanup when done, Everyone on his crew knew there jobs and worked like a "well oiled machine". They completed the work in just over a day- would highly recommend.

John Scott Roofing did a fantastic job with my home. My roof looks amazing! His company came in with the lowest estimate, and John was patient in explaining the process, shingle options, along with providing samples and explaining the warranty. These guys do good work, and don't take you to the cleaners along the way. While repairing my roof, 7 sheets of plywood and 122' of 2x4 were needed to replace the damaged areas of my roof. There was no extra charge for the time and material, he replaced this at at his cost, honoring the initial quote he gave me. What a gentleman and a scholar. The workers were courteous and all very hard workers. They arrived on time, cleaning up thoroughly before they left. They were able to knock my roof out in one day and didn't want a penny until it passed final inspection. They even provide a free wind mitigation report for the insurance company. Top notch company. My neighbor was so impressed by how good it looks, and how fast they knocked it out they called him too. I definitely recommend John Scott Roofing, and will use him for all my future needs.
