Everything went as planned and he cleaned up after the work was completed.

One double-door section of the cabinet was removed, requiring a new finished end panel. While the end-panel wood was not of the same species, the color of the finish was a good match.

Very smoothly. Arrived on time, brought help worked the entire time and left my home as clean as he found it.

Tom was prompt, did an excellent job and kept his word on the price he quoted even though it took him longer than he thought it would. His price was considerably lower than the other bidder on this project. The association will use him again.

Perfect....The people that came to install my washer didn't finished because they told me I needed to change the valves .. Mr. Kelly showed me that it wasn't necessary and didn't make me waste my money.....he just cleaned the valve and it was in really good condition.

Tom brought his 8and quot; ladder and quickly removed each smoke detector and replaced the battery.

I called Tom Kelly on 12/23/13 based on reviews on Angie's List. We were unable to use one of our honeycomb type blinds as the screw holding the one end had come out of the ceiling when I had lowered it. I explained the items I needed to have repaired and even though it would be Christmas Eve, Tom offered to come out and make the repairs. He accomplished everything, including the toilet seat with its hidden tighteners (even a salesman at Home Depot couldn't tell me how to tighten the seat and they sell similar toilets!) Tom figured it out. His price was fair and we were very pleased with his work. We will definitely use him again.

After reviewing Angie's list, we hired Tom to build a professional display case that could be mounted on the wall. At the same time, we were having new wood floors put in and we wanted to match the display wood case to the wood floors. Tom was great to work with. He carefully built a custom display case that matched our new wood floors. The total display case weighed over 30 pounds, yet everything was mitered perfectly. My wife is extremely happy to have such a professional looking display case hold her father's trumpet. Tom is professional and I would hire him again. Both my wife and I highly recommend Tom for any custom woodworking.

We had Tom do general repairs on our house and two houses belonging to family members. He was efficient, professional, and prompt. He did everything we asked within his estimated price. We plan to use him again in the future.

We paid Mr. Kelly 750.00 to replace damaged walls that included drying up any water he found, spray for any mold present and he was to tape and texture and repaint the new Drywall, we also made an agreement that he would fix the Bottom cabinets damaged by the water, he told my husband he would find a frame to replace the damaged one and if He couldn't find a used one he would find cabinets and repair them, we paid him an additional $250.00 to repair or Replace the Cabinets, we told him if he had to buy them we would reimburse him for the cost of the cabinets but when we checked on the progress we were told he didn't paint the walls and he did nothing to repair the damaged cabinets. We made several attempts to talk to him about the problems but he wouldn't return our calls. I finally got in touch with him to see if he could come by and give a price for installing countertops, I did this for two reasons, I wanted to know why he took our money and didn't honor our agreement and why he told our house sitter that he couldn't believe we didn't replace the wood inside the walls. He was to determine what needed to be done once he removed the damaged wall, he agreed to remove anything that had Mold on it and he stated he had a chemical that he would use that would destroy and mold found. When I asked why he did nothing to the cabinets but put them back without repairing them he didn't give me an answer, I said you took our money but didn't repair the cabinets and you didn't paint the walls as agreed and you wouldn't return our calls and that's not an honest way to do business, so I asked him to price out installing Countertops and fix the cabinets he had already been paid for and give us credit for the Money he kept but didn't earn, I would normally never use someone who I felt was dishonest but I felt it may be the only way to recover the 250.00 we paid him for work never done, he said he would work up a price and get back to me, but that never happened, my husband also called wanting an answer and again, he never returned his calls either. With times as hard as they are it's hard to imagine why anyone in the trades would damage his reputation By cheating a customer who trusted them to do a job and even after being confronted about the dishonesty he still made no attempt to do the right thing. This was an expensive lesson on how this rating system works, We based our decision on the other customers reviews and we did not have the same good experience as we feel Ripped off by this person.

On time, friendly and polite. Good worker and results

This is the second time in 3 months a car took out my mailbox. Tom came by and replaced it and then it got taken out again. He responded immediately...bought the mailbox, post and cement and then put it in...again...very nice guy...no job too big or too small for him.

Tom answered the phone himself (one of the only people I called that actually answered the phone) I gave him a description of the problem and said that it was an emergency because there would be no water at the house until fixed. He told me he could make it over in 2 hours - which he did. We met and he quickly surmised that someone had replaced a piece of the water line with electrical conduit and it broke in that area. He gave me a price that included everything - left and bought what he needed and returned and quickly fixed the problem. He called to let me know it was done. I was very happy with his expertise and efficiency and price. I plan on keeping him on speed dial for any future problems.

Tom listened as I told him what I would like done,, He then offered a few suggestions,which were very good. We came together on a plan,,he estimated the cost and in two days I was cooking in my new microwave drawer. Tom is very easy to communicate with,and does excellent work,and on a timely basis. Would be very comfortable using Tom again.

My mailbox was knocked down by a car. Needed help removing old post and sinking a new one in concrete. Unanswered calls from other handymen over last 7 days. Tom came over within hours and put the new mailbox in. As he has 25 years experience in handyman type jobs and responded quickly even though it was a small job, he will be the one I call next time I need anything done around the house.

He was great! He was punctual, personable, accommodating, and highly skilled. He even cut our existing cupboard door to fit, so it looked as if it had been built that way originally. He cleanes up after himself, touched up the paint on the wall, and was on his way. We would gladly hire him again.

Tom responded to our phone message, made an appointment, and showed up on time. We described our project--to bring light from one room to another by adding a long window high on the wall between the two rooms. He gave us a quote for the work which was extremely reasonable. We made an appointment for him to return to do the work and again he showed up on time. He worked almost all day, was extremely neat breaking through the wall and showed great attention to detail in framing the window. Once the opening was made we ordered the glass to fit and made an appointment with Tom to return and finish when we had the glass. Once again he showed up on time and did a beautiful job. He even cleaned up the sawdust from using his table saw in our driveway! When the work was done, we happily paid him the agreed-upon amount. He is very skilled and very personable. We will definitely use his services in the future and recommend him without reservation.

Everything that was done was of the utmost quality and workmanship. Good people are hard to come by. Great people, even harder. It's nice to find someone who can do a multitude of tasks and do them well. Anytime I need something done I will not hesitate to use Tom again.

Tom answered my call and was able to provide me with a quote over the phone. He met me 2 days later on a Saturday to review the project. I wanted beadboard panels installed on several walls. He showed up on time Monday morning, worked the whole day and did a great job! He was courteous and professional. I would hire him again.

We called Tom and he came by to give us an estimate just 2 hours after we called. His estimate was reasonable for the work and he was able to start the next morning. He worked diligently until he got the work done. Shaving down the cabinet frame was hot, dusty and tedious and took longer than anticipated but Tom stuck with it until he got it done. We really appreciated him working us in so quickly. Tom is a nice guy and seems very trustworthy. I will call Tom again when I need a handyman.

I called three Angie's List contractors, and one contractor who had done a job for me back in 2003. One of the Angie's List contractors said after I explained what I wanted done that he wouldn't consider it because it was and quot;too smalland quot;. Another asked me to email photos of my wall unit, which I did, and responded with just a ball-park figure. He didn't seem very interested. Tom Kelly came over the afternoon that I contacted him, took pictures and measurements. I have a wall unit that was built-in by the original owners. It is constructed of good quality wood and trim. I wanted the middle part removed and raised to accommodate a large flat screen TV on a roll-out shelf for access behind it. Underneath I wanted cabinet doors to match the side cabinets. There is also space under the TV itself for a receiver, home theater etc. Tom gave me a price a few days later that I felt was a fair price. The contractor who had done work for me in the past said he would not be able to match the wood, but would cut out the upper cabinet, dispose of it, and have a subcontractor make a and quot;similarand quot; cabinet. Not acceptable and his price was totally off the wall. So I hired Tom and he did the work flawlessly. He was there for 4 or 5 days. He matched the wood and trim exactly, and also matched the paint, which was not easy because the trim, cabinets and back wall were all different colors. I had to be at work while he was here and I never had a worry. He even took care of my two dogs, letting them out when they asked! He never left a mess behind, and my wall unit now looks as if it was always that way. He is now going to give me a price on another project. I highly recommend him!

We're in the insurance business, and I asked him for business cards so that we can refer him to our clients that need work done on their homes. That's a pretty top recommendation.
