Description of Work: He replaced a wall A/C unit for an enclosed porch. Read the directions, first to make sure everything was good to begin. Very conscientious. Very happy. Also, agreed to take the old one since I would have difficulty dragging it to the curb myself and garbage day was 6 days away. Very pleasant.

+ 1 moreWe have two long rooms (living room and bedroom) and wanted to divide them visually with something of high quality. Tom reviewed our design, and made some excellent suggestions. He made his own custom doors, which allowed them to be in proportion to the pieces. The final dividers are of excellent quality, very well constructed, and nicely painted. (We recently hired a professional interior decorator, who commented that the dividers were and quot;excellentand quot;. ) From talking with Tom, he has a strong level of experience in many areas: tiling, construction, carpentry, repairs, etc. and we look forward to using him again. He was a pleasure to work with.

+ 0 moreHe was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend him from our first telephone conversation to when he was completed for the day. He is not pushy and knows his stuff without being overly confident. A hundred questions were asked and he was polite and helpful. Highly recommend!!!!
Description of Work: Very talented!! He was able to provide everything from advice on items to be done later, cost saving tips, and very talented carpenter. Baseboards, drywall, deadbolts.....

+ -1 moreThis was a good experience and I have two more rooms that I want to have Tom do as soon as I can get rid of all of my Boyd's Bear collection. Also, Tom and Mark are going to make new kitchen cabinets for me. They have been in business for 25 years.
Description of Work: First of all, Tom was introduced to us by a co-worker of my husband. We needed a cabinet made to hold our DVD's. It was so professionally made that everyone who has seen it thought we bought it in an expensive store. He was very detailed in making that. (That cost us only $200.00 and was made in one week!) We then got an estimate from Tom to paint the inside of our home. Since we are both smokers, he first had to do all of the ceilings and walls with Kilz, after that he painted 6 rooms with the colors that I chose, plus painted all of our doors white, as the builder had put on wooden doors with what I can only describe as looking like splashes of something that I can' t even imagine what. Tom and his friend, Mark, moved all of the furniture and took down all of the pictures (and mirrors in both bathrooms, without cracking anything!) and moved everything back and even vacuumed after they finished a room. I was very impressed with Tom and Mark and would recommend him/them without any hesitation to anyone!!

+ 0 moreThe cabinet is beautiful and handcrafted so that when we saw it we couldn't believe that he made it! We would definitely ask Tom to build us more, in fact, when I get ready to do my kitchen over, I am having Tom make all of my new cabinets, which we have already discussed.
Description of Work: Tom made us a beautiful walnut 5 shelve cabinet to hold all of our DVD's.
