Just ordered the big deal, and after speaking with vendor, learned it’s actually outside the scope of the deal, and the project would actually be an all day job. He's very honest - when the time comes do the project, I'll definitely be giving them a call back.

He did a beautiful job ! He was extremely efficient, quiet, kept me updated, and made SURE everything was cleaned up after the job. AND he is very nice to boot ! He's a keeper for sure ! He'll be back to my home in the future.

Overall the kitchen looks great. Bob was on time and worked very hard. At first he was very responsive to calls or email/texts but later on it was hard to get an answer from him. He would respond but not answer the question. Once he finished putting the cabinets up I never saw him again. His workers came and finished up, especially Pepe. This was the first time I ever had to hire someone for a renovation so I learned a lot. After the floor tile was put down I noticed a tile not level, I called him and he said the floor wasn't level and there wasn't anything he could do. My old tile, which was smaller appeared level but he said since the new tile was larger discrepancies would show more. I would have hoped he would have made sure the floor was level before putting it down and letting me know of any additional costs. I've noticed a couple other areas since. I learned through his worker he was moving to Florida, so I feel as though he was in a hurry to get finished. He never told me about moving and my last conversation with him was making sure I paid Pepe the balance. He never once asked if I was happy with the work or anything which I found not very customer friendly. There are a few minor things since living with it. The other thing I found was they removed all the appliances, I ordered a new refrigerator and stove so the only thing needing to be put back up was the microwave. Pepe put it up after I asked him but it wasn't until I was writing the last check that he said it was going to be an extra $100, and if I hired an electrician it would cost even more. Well I have family members who would have helped for nothing. Even though I'm happy with the kitchen, and I told him I was, I would not use his services again even if he was still in the area.

The service was excellent. He was very informative and knowledgeable. He was also very prompt and professional. The clean up after completion was excellent.

It went fantastic. His quote was the lowest and we couldn't have asked for a better result. He showed up on time every day and worked very hard. He shared his knowledge regarding our projects since they were all custom. He's very detail oriented and invested in the project. He took the time to make sure we were happy with all our selections. He's also just a good guy. There were a number of times where I couldn't be here and I had no problem with him inside the home. He also just did little things while he was here like tightening door latches etc. just because he was there. He's very responsive via phone or text. I could go on and on but at the end of the day we give him an A+. Call him first!

I had all kinds of things on my list from fixing a dead bolt to doing repair work on doors and floorboards. Bob was amazing and very patient. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me, so I learned a lot as well. He did a great job on all of the work that I asked him to do. I will definitely call on him in the future. Not so good. They don't have license workers so they can't provide services.

Really well. We love it. Bob and Pepe were great - no complaints at all. I should have done a review at the time, but forgot. I am doing it now because I am getting ready to call them about another job.

The owner of Residential Services not only was on site to provide a proposal, but was the one to do most of the work, with the aid of a co-worker. He was punctual with respect to being at the house to work, courteous in all his discussions (in-person and on the phone), and conscientiousness about the quality of work. His knowledge helped to solve some of the challenges that surfaced while the work was in progress. Overall, the total cost seemed very reasonable with the amount of work done and workmanship. I highly recommend his services.

They were very skillful and did an excellent job. I’d heard good things about them from my contractor and they definitely lived up to the reputation. I’d definitely use them again.

Ok overall. My husband met with the contractor and discussed some ideas which was very helpful. He was on time and very professional. He uses a woman to put together the plans with the measurements of the cabinets, etc. The first plan was not exactly as discussed and the measurements would not exactly fit, but he said they could be redone, no problem. We contacted them a few time to coordinate and never heard back for a corrected version. We did use the basic set-up but had to bring in another contractor to help finalize construction portion, and finally just used Ikea on-line to make our plans with the true measurements.

They were very good. There was a little problem and they were very quick to respond to it. They were reasonably priced. It was a very positive experience. I think I was served well at a great price. There was an issue on quality but when I brought it to their attention they were out immediately to take care of it.

Residential Services did a fantastic job! They quickly provided a quote, answered my questions, arrived on time, and did a wonderful job on my house, driveway, and decks. They even fixed several loose boards on my deck and did not charge me. It was nice to have someone go the extra mile and make sure the job is done right. I recommend Residential Services to everyone.

They did an excellent job. Bob went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. He was very honest, truthful, trustworthy and had great recommendations. He was very good at communicating anything going on with the job and any issues that came up. He truly cared about his work and making sure I was happy and he was always very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. He was truly professional, very reliable and completed the work in a timely manner. I would use him again in a heart beat and I highly recommend him.

I called Bob and he returned my call. I explained what I'd like to do to change my kitchen and would, need an estimate to determine just what I could afford. He said he'd call me the following week. It's been at least 2 months since that call Too bad I've known him to do good work.

We chose Bob Kontout for our kitchen remodel due to all the positive reviews on Angie's List. He came out for our initial appointment to go over the scope of work, and returned a quote to us in a timely manner. The overall cost was very reasonable, and the quality of work was well worth the money spent. Bob & his assistant Pepe were understanding of the new layout concept we were trying to obtain, and they wanted to make sure that we would be happy with the end result. They stayed in contact with us throughtout the whole process to make us aware of any instances that would require special attention. Bob is conscious that it is difficult to live without a kitchen for a long period of time, so he tries his best to keep the project going in an efficient manner. We are very happy with the end result, and we would recommend Bob for your remodeling project. I would also like to note that the a lot of the "F" ratings are undeserved, and probably from people that nobody can please. Read carefully and you can see that no actual project work was done on any of them. We knew Bob had a backlog of other projects to finish before he could start ours, but we felt it would be worth the wait ... and it most certainly was! Take a look at the pictures to see the transformation of our kitchen, and you can see the quality of his work.

Had an appointment with him and he didn't show up. When we called to see if he was running late he wanted to reschedule. Not professional. I left work early to meet him

Bob and team were very professional and reasonably prices (after obtaining 4 other quotes for entire job). Final job is excellent and were very happy with results.. Bob and team easy to work with. Work took a little bit longer than expected (over 3 months to finish) as we caught Bob and team during the busy season, which is ok since we weren't pushing hard for completion. If you want good results and are not in a rush, then Residential Services is a very affordable solution..

We hired Bob on this larger project due to his workmanship he provided at our old house last year. Bob was very good at communicating with us as to his schedule & times he would arrive. This is lacking in business today so this was very much appreciated! Bob offered us a fair price & saved us $$ on our new kitchen cabinets due to his connections in the business. I travel a lot, so he meet with my wife and discussed what we would like and gave suggestions on what he felt would work best. He promised a quote the follow week. I called him the following week on Friday and discussed the job in detail, but he said the designer had not looked at it yet. He promised a quote by the next Wednesday. More than two weeks later I called him and asked about the quote he promised. He said he had emailed it the night before and sent one about a week earlier. Then he said he wasn't sure what the email address was exactly and then stated he thought an email was returned. I didn't respond to that contradiction, but we never received any emails. He then gave me the price of two different kitchen cabinets without the installation or any price range for the entire job. He claim he wanted to see if the cabinet price was within our buget first,even though that's not what he promised me, and I said I didn't know the material to labor ratio so I need a quote for the entire job as promised. He meet with my wife, but I also discussed the job in detail after he saw the work that was need. Begin to argue and blamed my wife for not communicating.....I don't have time for that. Very unprofessional so I wouldn't waste my time. I am having a lot work done: windows, furnance, etc. I have had no problems with receiving bids in a timely manner.

We were moving from one house to another and could not reasonably get our house on the market without remodeling the bathrooms first. It is never thrilling to spend money on a house in which you don't intend to live but Bob worked with us on schedule as well as on price so it was not painful. We were absolutely thrilled with the results. What a difference! In our case it was very hard work since all of the old tile had to be pulled out of one bathroom. Bob kept a tight schedule in light of our desire to get the house on the market. He offered excellent suggestions for how we could approach the remodeling projects. We hope to hire him again whenever we need any work done on our new house.

Bob was patient, responsive and professional throughout the bid process. We would not hesitate to consider him for other jobs down the road!

We chose Residential Services after getting a total of 5 bids (4 from other companies). We chose Bob because he was the cheapest and he has a good standing on Angie's List. We knew that he wanted us, the homeowners, to have the vision and we did. We were not in need of someone to help with the design element, which would have cost us more money. As with any remodeling job in which you are removing walls/gutting, obstacles slowed the process but the job was completed within a month. The initial estimate was 2 weeks. All the work was completed to our satisfaction and we are happy with the end result.
